Likes the location and staff. It was great value for money

It was way too hot in the rooms. Even in the middle of winter. I had the window open and slept with just a sheet on it was still way too hot and made it very difficult to sleep. The aircon was only used for heating and I turned that off. They offered to rent me a fan for a charge.

Great location! Walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bus/subway/train station! Lawson, 7/11 and Seicomart, close by for drinks and snacks! Great staff! Friendly, and helpful! Very clean facilities! I have rarely seen this clean hotel rooms anymore!

There’s an evening lounge that opens 3 pm - 9 pm with coffee, soft drinks and sweet treats. But there’s no lounge to sit during the day if you don’t want to be in your room! I wish they open the lounge all day even if there are no drinks/snacks during the day.

The hotel is quite large and our room felt bigger than in most other places we stayed in while in Japan. The location is convenient, as you can easily walk to the shopping gallery street, one of the highlights of Sapporo. It also had a garage, which was quite convenient, as we had a car for the rest of our trip in Hokkaido (it cost 2000 yen per night to keep the car there, which I think is in line or slightly discounted vs. parking in another spot in the city).

The hotel is not very new. The bathroom was the biggest sign of its age, though it was still serviceable. Odari Park (right across the street and supposedly a key attraction in the city) was quite underwhelming (at least in April, before Spring began). The city itself didn't have much to offer us, so it was good we had booked just 1 night there and then continued to other places in Hokkaido.

The hotel is really amazingly located. I liked how close it was to the train stations we used. We often walked a max of 10 minutes to a train station. There's a way of securing your bag where you an put it in a locker or if it is too big for the locker, you can lock it in place with once of their wired locks and I thought that was a great system instead of just having all the bags in the back room. The beds were also very comfortable.

I'm very particular about the way how I like hotel bathrooms and I wasn't particularly fond of this one. It was very clean! But I think it was more of the design that I didnt like. For example, the shower didn't have an option that allowed for lighter water pressure and it was not possible to move the shower head.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sapporo View Hotel Odori, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is perfectly situated for convenience, with easy access to both the train and subway stations (15 mins to JR Sapporo station. 7 mins to Odori subway). Nearby attractions are within walking distance, including TV Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Old City Hall... And nearby the Odori Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and even catch the Snow Festival during the winter season. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of the stay. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The room itself was standard but clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. We were lucky enough to have a room with a Snowy mountains view, which added an extra touch of tranquility to our stay. Also, there is a underground walkway that connects Sapporo station and Odori station, keep you warm and dry.

I arrived slightly early and enjoyed the spacious atrium lobby while I waited to check in. The views from the lift into the atrium and from the windows at the corners of the floors were very nice. The view from the room was even better, overlooking the park as expected. Bed was comfortable.

Would have been nice to be able to leave my bags somewhere until check-in time instead of waiting with them in the lobby. Enjoyable as that was, I wanted to go outside to see the festival and get some food. The noise insulation for outside sound was not quite enough at night - the autumn festival was taking place in the park and the traffic crossing wardens whistles were audible every few minutes until they closed for the evening, which meant I could not get an early night.

Very comfortable, clean with great staff! Location was great! Close to transportation (bus, subway and trains)! Breakfast buffet has tons of options! Western, Chinese or Japanese! Kids even have their own buffet section!

Rooms can be small if you have luggage! But they are very comfortable and clean!

Good location opposite to the park, short walking distance from Odori station, walkable distance to TV tower, clock tower, botanical gardens, shopping places. Very friendly staff, comfortable room, good coin laundry within hotel which wasn't busy. Self lockable left luggage area was available near the reception when we arrived earlier than expected. Tip: the closest exit from station is a narrow flight of steps, would suggest looking for an exit with an elevator if carrying a lot of luggage.

Very limited vegetarian options in breakfast, but egg omlettes and other dishes were available.

It was a very comfortable place to stay, and the location is amazingly close to Tanuki street, which is full of places to eat and stores to visit. The room was one of my favourites, with great space to move on and leave stuff securely.

I got a really good deal for 4 nights to stay, and I asked to extend it one more night, but the price at the receptions was insanely expensive compared to what you can find in booking or other sites, so keep that in mind.

Well located and clean, they had a lounge for guests where you could have snacks and drinks for free !!! nice idea and appreciated. We parked under the hotel for 2000 yen for 24h which seems to be the going rate in Sapporo. But have your google translate handy as the instructions in the carpark are all in Japanese so to arrive at the right part in the car park you need to translate the signs (its off to the left closed with an additional barrier). Nice breakfast lots of choice.
