Likes the location and staff. It was great value for money

It was way too hot in the rooms. Even in the middle of winter. I had the window open and slept with just a sheet on it was still way too hot and made it very difficult to sleep. The aircon was only used for heating and I turned that off. They offered to rent me a fan for a charge.

The hotel is really amazingly located. I liked how close it was to the train stations we used. We often walked a max of 10 minutes to a train station. There's a way of securing your bag where you an put it in a locker or if it is too big for the locker, you can lock it in place with once of their wired locks and I thought that was a great system instead of just having all the bags in the back room. The beds were also very comfortable.

I'm very particular about the way how I like hotel bathrooms and I wasn't particularly fond of this one. It was very clean! But I think it was more of the design that I didnt like. For example, the shower didn't have an option that allowed for lighter water pressure and it was not possible to move the shower head.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sapporo View Hotel Odori, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is perfectly situated for convenience, with easy access to both the train and subway stations (15 mins to JR Sapporo station. 7 mins to Odori subway). Nearby attractions are within walking distance, including TV Tower, Sapporo Clock Tower, Old City Hall... And nearby the Odori Park, where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and even catch the Snow Festival during the winter season. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping options nearby, adding to the overall convenience and enjoyment of the stay. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met. The room itself was standard but clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. We were lucky enough to have a room with a Snowy mountains view, which added an extra touch of tranquility to our stay. Also, there is a underground walkway that connects Sapporo station and Odori station, keep you warm and dry.

I arrived slightly early and enjoyed the spacious atrium lobby while I waited to check in. The views from the lift into the atrium and from the windows at the corners of the floors were very nice. The view from the room was even better, overlooking the park as expected. Bed was comfortable.

Would have been nice to be able to leave my bags somewhere until check-in time instead of waiting with them in the lobby. Enjoyable as that was, I wanted to go outside to see the festival and get some food. The noise insulation for outside sound was not quite enough at night - the autumn festival was taking place in the park and the traffic crossing wardens whistles were audible every few minutes until they closed for the evening, which meant I could not get an early night.

Good location opposite to the park, short walking distance from Odori station, walkable distance to TV tower, clock tower, botanical gardens, shopping places. Very friendly staff, comfortable room, good coin laundry within hotel which wasn't busy. Self lockable left luggage area was available near the reception when we arrived earlier than expected. Tip: the closest exit from station is a narrow flight of steps, would suggest looking for an exit with an elevator if carrying a lot of luggage.

Very limited vegetarian options in breakfast, but egg omlettes and other dishes were available.

Location was perfect! Right in front of the Odori Park during the Snow Festival. We managed to book a room with a "park view" and although initially we thought it would be noisy with the hotel being next to the park, we were surprised that the room was sufficiently quiet and of course, we had a good view of the park (see photo) from our 6th floor room window. We added one extra bed in our room at the last moment but we found that the room had more than enough space for three persons.

It’s in the centre of Sapporo, in front of Odori Park. The view was magical in winter season where snow falls almost everyday. Tourist spots are near the hotel, also train stations and trams. Hotel was really really nice. It provides everything I needed. Room was huge, complete with wardrobe, shower and bathup, and water boiler. Microwave and Laundry were also provided in certain floor. Love this hotel. Will be back for sure Thank you

Good location. Rooms are ok. Good breakfast buffet.

The front desk handling of foreign customers is clearly below the usual standard in Japan. This is not a language issue but a lack of engagement. E.g. the front desk was unable to provide guidance on where to eat and only suggested to refer to brochures that were in Japanese.... There is no proper luggage storage only self operated lockers. Saying hello and goodbye would also be nice.

It's right across Odori Park; there's a convenience store beside it; it's still in the city center but not in the noisy/bustling part; rooms are not small (not that big either) but big enough to open 2 large luggages and fit an all terrain stroller; the rooms seem newly renovated; the floors are made of wood so I was not worried about allergies from carpet for my asthmatic kid; it's near the tv tower, nijo market, and stellar place mall; the atrium in the middle of the hallway was beautiful and made it look big; there were plenty of tables and chairs at the lobby café and it was spacious and high ceiling; it was a steal for that price

I wish drip coffee was provided in the room.

The inside of the hotel is gorgeous, with each floor having a walkway running the perimeter of the hotel with windows looking into the lobby, which has a courtyard that has ceiling spanning all the way up to the top floor. I booked a twin room that came with an impressive wide window and two armchairs perfect for admiring the view at any time of day.

I visited the breakfast buffet one morning, which I found to have plenty of options with fruit, pastries, breads, soups and hot foods, but my appetite was dulled by listening to a guest behind me loudly and openly coughing and realising there were no sneeze guards over the food.
