The entire place is clean and so peaceful. The shared common areas are well maintained and the decor is great. The room we had (202) was spacious and comfortable and had all amenities you could really ask for. I especially enjoy the pine tree growing in the middle of the entry/courtyard area and wish I could see it covered in snow. A couple of really nice parks with playgrounds are within walking distance, which our 3-year old enjoyed very much. Sapporo city center is, like, 20 minutes away by car. We had such a great time here and we would love to return during another season like autumn or winter to really enjoy the coziness of the place.

I'm not sure if I missed them but our room didn't have full-sized bath towels? We ended up using the hand towels that were provided (which do a really good job at drying your body, honestly) so not a total deal-breaker. The only other complaint would be that it's difficult to see where the sidewalk curb lowers down to the road so we jumped the curb a couple times, haha.

- Responsive host. - Drinkable tap water. - The room is very spacious. It has everything you need: living room, kitchen, private bathroom, laundry, etc. Sharing any area with other guests is not needed at all. - Multiple heaters provided, in the bedroom, in the living room, in the bathroom, in the toilet, etc.

- Location is 30 minutes driving distance away from Sapporo city center. It's better if you own/rent a car to avoid the hassle of public transportation. - Bath towel was not in the room in the beginning. - Laundry detergent residue on the washing machine. Could be just a one-off issue.

It was spacious and homey. Some days we didn't feel like getting out of bed! All the necessary amenities were in place too. It's a short drive away from the city but that wasn't an issue for us -- a rental car was needed, in any case, if you want get around Hokkaido and not just Sapporo. All communication was done through the app. We didn't see the staff at all but that wasn't an issue for us. They were very responsive during business hours.

The water pressure in the bath and toilet were a bit weak compared to places we've stayed in in mainland Japan. That resulted in a minor clog in the toilet. However once we reported the issue via Booking chat, the staff were very quick to respond

We only stayed one night, but the living room added a great space for relaxation and research for additional places during our visit. The kitchen area was compact, but provided great amenities. The bathroom and shower were very nice! It had laundry, though as this was early in our visit, we did not yet need to use it.

The only disappointment was the entry where we left our shoes was too cold to dry them and we ended up having to put on cold, wet shoes the next morning.

Staying at Villa Sapporo Honobono was an unforgettable experience. The spacious layout of the rooms offered unparalleled relaxation, away from the noise of the city. Surrounded by nature, I felt completely at peace, enjoying the stunning views of the snow covered area and fresh air. The host is super responsive. It was the perfect balance of luxury and comfort, and I would definitely love to return in the future.

The place is very clean, no stain, no mould in the bathroom. Provided iphone charger. Provided kitchen towel, provided clip wrap. I like when it has a mini kitchen for me to cook in my room. it has washing machine and dryer. it does not have daily housekeeping.

the bed is not stable, give alot of sound when you turn yourself on the bed. I was worried the bed might break anytime. Location is not near any station, so if you drive, then is fine. It would be good if can provide dustbin paper bags so that we can change the dustbin paper bags when is full. The toothbrush provided is coated with toothpaste and can only be used once. so it would be good to have toothbrush and toothpaste seperately

We wanted a holiday home away from the city and we got exactly that. 10 min drive to Bankei Ski, 3min drive to a large Aeon mall and only 20 min drive to Susukino and Odori. Room was clean, large for Japan, own bathroom and own washing machine.

Shower water pressure is weak but barely acceptable. The room could do with more clothes hangers

Rooms were large and had many facilities - washer/TV Very clean throughout and bedding and linen clean and warm. Great parking Very quiet location Great value for money 10 minute drive to nearest ski slope

We are not used to Japanese kitchens so fridge for us was a little small, and just one hot plate to cook was limited,

I loved how pretty the property was! We didn’t spend anytime outside but we could see there was a nice deck where other parties were having barbecues. We were just in town for two Nippon Ham Fighters games so we were gone for most of the day, but it was so comfortable to come home to! Loved the cute touch of having our name on the door. The bed was super comfy, the AC worked perfectly, and even though we didn’t use all of the amenities (dishes, stove, etc), I appreciated them being there as an option.

I was surprised that we didn’t see any staff while we there, but then again we never needed anything. We got an email with check-in instructions that was very helpful. I really don’t have any negative things to say about this property!

This villa is WONDERFUL and we can't recommend it highly enough. Absolutely sparkling clean, almost unbelievably comfortable, terrific bath facilities, excellent mini kitchen, etc. I stayed with my daughter on her (both of us) first trip to Japan, sadly delayed for three years! by Covid-19 restrictions. After so many delays and disappointments, I had serious worries about lodging on this trip. Villa Sapporo Honobono was her home-away-from-home on this journey, and she, myself, us, could not possibly have asked for, and received, anywhere better. Thank You so very, very much!

It didn't bother either myself or my daughter, but if you are not driving, public transport is a bit limited. Buses are hourly to Makomanai Station, and that stop is the final destination of the Namboku Line. Public transport is limited. I stress, it did not inconvenience me or my daughter, but if you like to stay out past 22:00 and don't drive, this may present a problem for you.
