Some of the staff were extremely patient and helpful. They went out of their way to help me when I was a clueless foreign tourist. The hotel is conveniently located near the ski resort and there are shuttle buses that send you there and pick you up at certain hours of the day. Morning breakfast was a buffet spread which was very nice and filling but a little expensive. Really liked the fireplace and sofa on the 1st floor where you can chill and drink something after a long day of skiing. There are some food trucks right outside the hotel that serve fast, delicious, and affordable burgers, noodles, crepes, and tortillas.

Nothing much. The room looked a bit old and the toilet was quite small but still passable. Dinner at a restaurant was quite hard to find because a lot of restaurants were fully booked and there weren't many options in the Kitanomine Zone. For some reason, the hotel said I could not make a reservation in advance by phone - I don't know why? I relied on the food trucks a lot for dinner.

the onsen and free snacks/wine around the fire in the evenings were great. They were so kind to me and were flexible finding me a room when my other booking was messed up (neither of our faults). There were lots of other little nice things including the onsen pyjamas.

i stayed in a three different rooms (not their fault) with views east, west and north. All good. however each of them had those modular old school bathrooms - however i saw a bunch of east facing rooms on the third floor that had really nice bathrooms. So try to get those rooms 301-308ish. Also, i rented skis and boots from them for 7 days that were half the price of rythmn up the street. I couldn't tell the difference, so if you are an average skier then i would use that option. HOWEVER i realised that i had miscounted the days i needed the gear for and only needed it for 6 days. They would not refund the additional day even though I was returning the gear a day early, which seemed a bit cheap.

The location and overall services were very good. The food and refreshments were also satisfiable. In conclusion, the stay was enjoyable and it is worth coming back again next time we revisit Furano.

However, some private facilities need to be fixed or developed; the toilet in the twin-bed room was too close to the wall and, especially, to the toilet paper holder (as it was squeezing with our leg while sitting), this gave a somewhat unpleasant experiences every time we use the toilet in our room. Also, the temperature in our room was too hot even when we turned off the (heating) air-conditioner; we also contacted the front desk to ask for adjusting the power but, due to the staff's limited command of English, we were not successful; still, the staff tried his best by giving us an electric fan that (rhetorically) saved our lives during our sleep. We understand that these are small details, but improving them would certainly guarantee even better memories and impressions to the guests.

Breakfast was great value for money, the rooms were lovely, very clean and good facilities. Great location, easy walk to the gondola. The staff was all extremely helpful and very hospitable.

My only 2 negative comments are the we had dinner in the restaurant one night and the steak was absolutely terrible (nothing like the photo on the menu, a different cut of meat that was awful and very overpriced), I would recommend having breakfast in the hotel and not dinner. The other thing was the temperature of the Onsen, I've been to Japan 3 times and it was the hottest I have ever experienced, everyone we spoke to at the hotel said the same and it was not comfortable to stay in very long.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good, a short walk uphill was a good warmup before hitting the slopes. They also had a shuttle bus up to the gondola station. The breakfast was nice. Good view of the mountain from the uphill side rooms.

The dinner was poor and overpriced. The vending machines didn’t have hot coffee. It was a shame the breakfast wasn’t free. They had free coffee to make in the room. I finished my room supply so I grabbed more milk powder, coffee and sugar ready for the next day. They cleaned our room and I went to make my morning coffee and the cleaners had taken my milk powder so I drank black coffee that day alas. No big issue but it’s a review.

Staff were so accommodating.

Need more cupboards in rooms. Nowhere much to put clothing. Drawers were full of towels and Onsen outfits. Shuttle bus needs to run at 8.15 so.you can get in queue for lifts and not have to wait so long. Didn't realise until day 3 I could actually turn heater off. Said it was controlled by office and never mentioned it could be turned off. Couldn't read The dials in Japanese.

Great location. 10+min walk to/from the quad chair if you miss the shuttle. (shuttle goes to the gondola station.) 5 min walk to the Kisen stop for the evening shuttle. 10 min to lawson. 2 min from the main street to get to the (limited number of ) restaurants in kitanomine Ticks all the boxes for a ski trip for me - Onsen to recover after a day of skiing, ski lockers/rack room is outside the hotel but the shuttle picks you up/drops you off directly outside the ski locker room, (its a <1min walk back to the the hotel rooms anyway)

wifi connection was patchy

The hotel is located about a 10 min walk downhill of the Kintanomine Gondola station. Reception staff and cleaning staff were friendly. The staff at the ski locker/rental area was the worst. I had only asked where i can wax my board, and i was replied to as if i have cursed his entire family. The ski locker is located outside of the building, and it depends on your luck if you manage to get a locker. Breakfast is not provided, and the Lawsons (the only convi shop that I am aware off) is about a 10 mins walk downhill of the hotel. The communal shower and hot pools were sufficient and I used it everyday. The toilet in the room was sufficient as well. I wish there was a better way to position the window opening so that i can let some air in without freezing. It either stays shut, or entirely open. This is also a drop off for the Hokkaido Resort Liner if that matters to you. I would likely stay here again.

Temperature control for the room ie the windows, it would be nice to have more options as to how much i want the windows open so that i can let some cold air in to the room.

Stayed here for 7 nights. There was a mink Sake bar during the new year period which was a nice touch. New year fireworks by Prince Hotel was also visible from the carpark. You can book a free transport to and from Kitanomine Gondola Station and Prince Hotel at set timings. The public bath was sufficient for me, and great after a long day of riding.

The management could consider in providing transport for arrival/checkout to Kitanomine station as most buses pick up from that area. One has to walk up a gradient to get to the bus stop currently. Ski lockers may be limited, so try to get one when you check in. Otherwise, you will have to leave your board/ski on the racks. There is also no waxing station in the ski locker, so you will not be able to wax your own board/skis. The ski locker is out of the hotel, so try to bring a pair of sneakers for more ease - of you can do what I did by wearing the room slippers. But note that the path is slippery, and the walk there will increase your heart rate.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location a short walk to the gondola. Enjoyed an evening onsen after a day on the slopes. The ski locker room was very handy with large secure lockers big enough for two snowboards and two sets of boots, helmets etc.
