It is one of the BEST two bedroom suites during my 3 weeks trip in Japan. The apt style two bedroom unit is spacious and well equipped. It offers awesome selection of amenities including espresso machine with pods. The full size fridge and washer/dryer combo is great. The staff is super friendly and eager to help! My wife left some personal items behind after we checked out and the staff went above and beyond to have them delivered to us via Yamato! Would HIGHLY recommend this hotel especially given the café downstairs open at 7am which is SUPER RARE for breakfast place in Japan.

Minor thing like the pillows could have been more supportive and the couch in the living room is too low and lack of neck support.

We stayed at Fenix West in a 3-bedroom unit as a family of five and had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The area is quiet and a bit removed from the hustle and bustle, which we appreciated. There isn’t much around, but there is a Lawson about 700 meters downhill for basic needs. Special mention to Dorothy at the front desk—she was fantastic! Always smiling, very approachable, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. She gave us great recommendations for dining and assisted with reservations and arranging transportation. Her warm and accommodating service really made a difference. Would definitely recommend for families looking for a calm and comfortable getaway

One thing to note if you’re visiting in summer: the sun rises as early as 4 a.m., and the dining room window doesn’t have a full blackout curtain. One of the bedrooms faces the sun directly, so it got quite bright early in the morning. It didn’t ruin our stay, but light sleepers might want to bring an eye mask or ask about curtain options.

Great cafe at the lobby. Approachable and friendly staff makes our stay memorable. In terms of the 3-room apartment, it was Spacious, with a tasteful interior, radiator heater available, washing machine and dryer, racks, sufficient hooks & places to hang your clothes and towels (I truly appreciated !), fully equipped kitchen/wine opener, nespresso machine and a vacuum cleaner for us too. It’s a perfect place for me and my family during our stay in Furano. The highlight was also the convenience of the free shuttle to get us to the restaurants, ski resort, cheese factory, winery and Furano Marche. Well done Nisade Fenix West and team!

Almost nothing but if I can comment on one, please do vacuum under the beds. Pull them out to clean as there were dust balls in all the rooms.

The room was well equipped. We were able to cook a basic meal.

Very slippery bathtub. As the shower was over the bath, you need to be extra careful each time you took a shower. We were there at a very quiet time. Given that the occupancy level was extremely low, there was no consideration of a room upgrade. This seems to be the norm throughout Hokkaido.

We had a party if 7 with two families so we booked two apartments. We were allocated the apartments 201, 202 and 203, as well as 601, 602 and 603. We were impressed by the spaciousness, the fully- equipped kitchen. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially about extra parking space.

There were no curtains in the living room. As the bedroom was facing the road, and we were staying on the 2nd floor, pedestrians could see into the room clearly, especially at night. Please consider adding curtains to the narrow windows in the living room..

The premier suite which we stayed at was well equipped and everything we needed was already in there. We managed some light cooking. The washing machine/dryer was useful particularly with growing kids.

The view we got was looking into another property so despite having a balcony we didn't sit out. Also we could smell cigarette smoke if the sliding door was left open at certain times.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. We particularly love the big dining table. But we definitely needed more chairs for our family of 7. The rooms were quite clean but of different sizes. But we did wish for more shelves or hooks to put or hang up our things. The bathrooms were good sized and the shower gel and shampoo provided were great. My boy loved it. We loved the Cafe Ronin downstairs where we could get hot coffee and warm breakfast, and the two ladies running the cafe were very warm & friendly.

Fenix West is located in a quiet location and there's not much food options close by. Although we love the cafe, the food options were limited. It would have been much better if there was a eatery or convenience shop on-site. The apartment was new and fairly clean. However there was uncleared rubbish left by the previous tenant in one of the toilets. That was a bit unpleasant.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment. It was essentially 2 adjoining hotel rooms, one with a living room and kitchen. The rooms were clean, new, modern. Good amount of space for 4 of us.

Limited parking lots on site. May need to park at their sister property down the road. Not much to eat around the area, need to drive out. But could be because this was low-season.

The hotel is actually located near a ski resort area but slightly outside of Furano center city. If you got car, there should be no issue. But if by public transport, then it might be a bit out of the way. New apartment building which also served as a hotel. The room is big , modern and comfortable. Upon check in we got help by a staff that is fluent in English and advised us on where to eat. The reception is unmanned in the evening but everything works out very well.

Nothing to dislike since we are aware of the location.

The space, amenities, bed and cleanliness. The staff were super friendly too! The coffee shop right downstairs served excellent coffee.

The location was great if u have a car but it is away from the main town where the restaurants are. The only downside is that the bedroom windows blinds are not black out so during summer, you get the sun shining in as early as 5am.
