I had a great time at the Route-Inn! It was kind of like my two spa days with the Onsen that can be used, calming Suwa and the great breakfast that was prepared for me. The breakfast buffet was huge and had Western as well as Japanese dishes to choose from. I can really recommend. The room was also comfortable and staying only in hostels the nights before it felt like a dream. The WiFi was also fast. I will definitivetly come back!

The woman who helped me on Friday March 17th deserves a raise. SO friendly and helpful but i cannot remember her name 😱 The room was quite large and comfy and though the baths were small, I was able to relax in the hot water.

I hate turning in keys when leaving a hotel. I feel like a toddler. The bed was hard as a rock. . . . There really isn't anything else.

Good location close to the station. The staff were very courteous and helpful even though little English was spoken. Great breakfast options. Despite being in need of refurbishment, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and more space than the average in Japan. The staff were polite and eager to help.

The hotel is tired and needs a total refurbishment.

Excellent location, five minute walk from the train station and a two minute walk to the lake. One train stop away is the main part of town with more sightseeing opportunities. The staff were very helpful and friendly with restaurant recommendations, they even gifted us a set of sake bottles for our honeymoon which we appreciated so much! Very little English is spoken, it is helpful to know some Japanese.

A little bit old/tired, but that did not bother us.

Close to Kamisuwa station . Close to Suwa lake . Hotel room is spacious comparing to other hotels we stayed in Japan. Breakfast is decent.

Hot spring is smaller than I expected. Water temp is lukewarm at one point ( male side per my son). He and other guests needed to tell hotel staff about it .

location is perfect plenty of parking lot good breakfast and dinner nice staffs onsen small but quiet and functional you can see the lake in the restaurant there is a coffee machine（make coffee from bean） in the lobby、you can have a cup of coffee to go 24h

If the dinner menu add some picture will be better

The location is a short 10min walk from Kami Suwa Station, or 3min by taxi. Convenience stores and restaurants are nearby, including a coin laundromat. The onsen inside the hotel was very good as well. They provided free parking and a free drink for each guest staying.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating of our lack of japanese skills. Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was included in the initial cost of the booking, and the quality of it was fantastic, doubly so considering it came at no extra charge. Location was also great, 5 minute walk to both the local station and convenience stores.

The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was great close to everything I needed.

The recommended room temperature was too high for me at 28⁰C. The bed could have been more comfortable. Everything else was great.

Excellent breakfast buffet, very helpful staff, great location, the hotel has a private onsen (natural sauna)

The hotel furniture is a little too old, not a huge deal, but could be renovated.
