What a beautiful hotel! As travellers from Australia, the staff were so accommodating with the language barrier, and were so warm and welcoming. The buffet was absolutely incredible, facilities perfect, games room for our 6 year old, even a shop! The candy station was also a big hit! Definitely would reccomend!

The room is quite spacious and the staff is helpful The hotel is easy to find and has good parking
The property is catered to family with children so as a couple was not the best choice. The most disappointing part was that the property did not specified that the Onsen is not available to people with tattoos so we miss on that part of the experience. For those going if your plan is to head to mount Zao the property is a bit far and not very convenient. The rooms are big, but the central heating is hard to regulate so the room was way too hot and we had a hard time sleeping. Expect long cues if you check in at 3 pm like we did For non Japanese guest I will not recommend it.

I have been to many hotels in Japan, but this was a first time (almost) all inclusive plan. Interestingly, we were not aware of it when we booked. Great value for the money. Buffet breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Having unlimited alcoholic drinks was a great surprise. During the afternoon / late night lounge times additional snacks snacks / drinks provided.
Hotel is a bit old, you can feel it in many aspects. however it is not annoying, it is kept quite clean. There can be more activities for kids, and existing game areas need some renovation/update maybe.

Spacious room and very simple guide to the resort after checking in. The breakfast buffet also has a very wide variety of food that I feel is quite worth it for the price. They do also have a free evening lounge service where they provide a selection of liquor as well as salty snacks to go with them like crackers and the locally produced Zao cheese. For amusement you can even use the ping pong tables on the first floor, or play on the arcade machines next door.
At this point it's just nitpicking but being located 20 minutes on foot away from Togatta Onsen makes it difficult to eat anything else or even access a convenience store. There are, of course, shops across the road near the Resort to eat at. Dinner buffet is 8000yen per person, which makes it a hard sell for when you have a budget and this Resort is only one of the many stops you're going to be making.

The room was clean and the layout was spacious. Plenty of room for a family of 4.
It would have been nice to experience the onsen. I have too many tattoos to cover, so I was not allowed to enter. Maybe if there were times throughout the day that tattoos were allowed, this would be the perfect hotel.

Best ryokan I've had the fortune of staying in. The perfect mix of modern and traditional. Gorgeous onsens both inside and out. Comfy beds and futons. Kind, attentive, and very informative staff. Great facilities. So many ways to enjoy a night in. The night cap was such a lovely touch. The breakfast... WOW. I've never seen such a large, variable, and delicious selection. My only regret is not staying longer.

social lounge service was great idea! we enjoyed to use the service. onsen was very clean and nice.
unfortunately it was very windy night so all night long we can hear strong wind. and a small earthquake happen. we know it's not hotel's fault at all but a bit scary.

The resort is very pretty and well maintained.
The onsen/washroom was not tattoo friendly and restaurants were not easy to get to. Overall happy.
