Great room for a very reasonable price, excellent staff and amenities. I have stayed in many hotels across the world, including many high-end luxury hotels, but my first time experience at APA Hotels was one of the best hotels I've stayed in, without even accounting for the price. This specific location is only three stations away from Tokyo Station via the Toei Asakusa line, which means it's in a really good location. Plenty of excellent restaurants around, and close to the Nakamise Shopping Street, as well as several convenience stores less than a block away. Great for solo travelers as well!

Great locations, right in front of a metro exit and close to a bus stop. It's a direct line from Haneda airport. Lots of conbini and restaurants nearby. walking distance from Sensō-ji and Akihabara. The staff is nice and helpful. the ones I interacted with all spoke english. Our room and bathroom was spacious and cleaned everyday, the beds were confortable. We were in the top floor, so we had a very nice view of Tokyo Skytree.

The huge tv was useless. there was an option to mirror your device, but it was impossible to use. We tried a samsung tablet, and ipad and iphone but it disconnects after a few minutes.

The hotel was in a great location, with a train station nearby and a short walk to Sensoji Temple. The rooms were clean, with plenty of amenities, and the staff were friendly and very helpful, despite the language barrier. Checking in and checking out were convenient and quick.

Only minor critique is the bathroom can get really hot after a shower only really a problem if you spend a while in the bathroom. There’s also no safes in the rooms however we never had any problems and I think reception were also willing to store valuables.

The location of the hotel is really good. Across the street is a metro station of the Asakusa line which is a central line. Next door is also a supermarket which is great. The room is clean and new towels provided every day. Staff is very friendly. And only 15-20 minutes walk from Senjo-hi shrine and Shopping street

The room is too small for 2 people. We could hardly move. And the bed was rather hard because the matters was too thin for bigger westersers like us.

I always enjoy staying at this APA location in Kuramae. I've stayed 6 or 7 times now and it's always easy to check in, has many convenience stores around to get what you need, and the subway is right underneath the hotel so it's very convenient to reach. I also love that it's on the Asakusa line that goes straight to Haneda airport. I also am thankful they will hold your luggage for you before you check in and after you check out!

The room was clean enough, but I still saw places in the bathroom that were not as clean. I also dislike that there is only one elevator and the stairs are only for emergencies - I ended up waiting on the 2nd floor for 15 mins because the elevators were full 3 times I tried! I wish I could have just walked down the stairs... Also, the washing machine situation can be annoying because there are only 2 and people can end up hogging the machines for a long time.

The staff were fantastic. I left my phone in a taxi when I arrived at the hotel and only realised after the taxi had left, after I checked-in there was a gentleman at reception, he assisted me with contacting the taxi company and printing directions to pick it up. I got my phone back. I was extremely grateful for the help. The rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day. There is train station access across the road but the lift access to the train station is down the side street next to the hotel. It's on the Asaksua line that goes directly to Narita airport making it convenient if you're flying in or out of that airport.

Stayed 4th time in this hotel, really good localization (direct train to and from Narita, 2 metro stops from shinkansen stations), neibourhood is not crowded and really nice, one of the cheapest prices for that standard in Tokyo and still close to Akihabara, Ueno, Chiyoda, Odaiba, Meguro and Shibuya, all below 1h train trip. Hotel have wide beds, so even if you're tall you can manage to sleep comfortable. Service always at top notch, helpful, clean rooms and corridors. On 1F there is laundry and mini convenience store with microwave.

The property has a fantastic location that’s near train stations, konbinis, and even 24/7 restos (eg Sukiya). There’s even a drug store just across (I had a migraine attack during my stay and I was thankful I didn’t need to go far to get painkillers). If you’re into running, you can head to the riverside for a pretty scenic run. Room had enough space to open 2 luggages on the floor which I appreciate. You can store them under your bed after you nest. All info you need, including check-out reminders are on the TV screen which I found super convenient. They also provide a new set of toiletries every other day. There’s also a washing machine and dryer downstairs as well as a small store for snacks and other items. Ice is free as well. Checking in and out was a breeze via a machine, but there’s also the staff who can assist you. I left my luggage at the hotel in the morning after checking out and continued exploring the Asakusa area before my flight. Getting to Narita is just 2 train rides away if I’m not mistaken which was very convenient. Would definitely book again if I’m back in the area.

* The staff is amazing. 5 stars for all of them. * The room and the bed were very comfy. * The check-in and check-out processes were very easy and fast. You can do everything by yourself. * The information showed in the TV.. cleaning day, check-out day, the weather forecast, etc.

* The building has only one elevator and during the peak times, the guests have to wait a little longer. * The stairs are outside of the building. I had to use them when people were working on the elevator and it wasn't available. And it was raining. The washing machine is too expensive. Ok. It already includes the detergent, but even though... 500 ienes is too much.

The hotel was excellent and great for value of money. Even though the rooms were smaller, the attention to detail and the maximising of space made it very comfortable and cosy. It had all the amenities you needed, and is in very short walking distance to 24 marts, eateries, and train stations. We walked to various locations with no issues in Asakusa (Tokyo Sky Tree and Senosji Temple). Most trains also stopped at the Kuramae Station which was right opposite this hotel! This made it extremely easy once we arrived! Staff were great and professional. If you’re looking for a low budget option as a couple, this hotel might be for you.
