Akabane station has easy access to both west and east tokyo. We can also go to saitama and omiya in 15 mins. To reach the hotel, go to south gate, take east exit and just walk straight for 100 meters. there is a hotel's backdoor just beside a car parking slot. For check-in process, luckily the receptionist had an india female who can speak english fluently. This is our 2nd visit, and both our check-ins are handled by her. Lucky! The check-out process is really simple, just insert our room keycards into the machine, and off we go. The hotel room is spacious enough to open our luggage. We've had both smaller and bigger room than this, so we are not complaining. The housekeeping did a satisfying job in cleaning hair strands and washing/replacing the glasses. Free amenities provided at the lobby is also quite complete. Perhaps add face mask?

The trouser presser in the room has 2 small iron bars protruding at the narrow hallway. They hit our back/waist once every few days. It quite hurt. Can you do something about it please? The pillows are kind of flat. Maybe the hotel can provide options for different kinds of pillows. This one not really a big disappointment. The hotel is undergoing a renovation on some floors. So the lift interior is covered with safety barriers and a few times we have to wait for next lift because the workers are occupying it. It would be great if the hotel mentioned this before/when we book the hotel online. Luckily the renovation is not producing loud noises

I stayed 4 nights in the hotel. Location was good in terms of distance from JR Akabane station. Several convenient store around. The room was small but still a tad bigger than some of the hotel I've stayed in Tokyo. Mattress was okay, nothing great. There's washing machine on level 7 if you need to do laundry. Level 3 and another level had ice machine and vending machine.

The signage to the hotel was not clear. I managed to recognize it after checking it on google map. Although location was good, in the evening the route can be a bit dodgy. I was a lone traveller, hence was not entirely comfortable walking alone after sun down.

Location is good, near the train station. Restaurants, convenience store and mall is also walking distance. Hotel staff are very accommodating. Goods for hygiene are overflowing, free cups, ice and use of microwave. Laundry is also available for a cost.

Our rooms were a bit small. Weak internet connectivity. limited number of washing machines and dryer. Smell of cigarette smoke from the smoking area going in the reception/waiting area. early check-out, 11am

The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The 24 hours reception was really good. Free coffee , tea, facial was nice. Once at 9 p.m We asked for spare pillow and new blanket cover for my son they took it very fast. Highly recommended this hotel. Just breakfast was not good, you can skip it.

The only thing was not good ,is breakfast. It's not recommended. They were similar everyday, not enough food prepared for those amounts of people. They kept leftovers for the next day till it was sold out. It was waste of money.

Superb location! Just 2 min walk from Akabane Station. And everything is close by. There are many malls and restaurants around. So we did all our food shopping and souvenir shopping as it would be our last stop before heading back home. The room was bigger than expected and the amenities were complete. Great value for money. We always consider staying in Daiwa Roynet as we always had a great experience.

The breakfast option can be improved as we really love Japanese food. Perhaps more option.

Location was perfect. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. There was a mix up with the hotel booking, glitch in the system when I paid up front for what I thought was for two people. I had evidence of booking for two people and there was also other information noting just one person. We paid the balance in cash and everything else was fine. They were helpful and polite about it. Great spacious rooms, everything you need! I will tell my friends and family to come and stay there :)

Waste of products - I didn't think the hotel needed to provide customers with new free toothbrush or slippers every day, it seemed wasteful and unnecessary.

Good location in mostly residential area so less touristy. Metro is 3 mins walk. All facilities available. Many nearby shops & a large local shopping area. Many restaurants, fast food, convenience stores. Lively area at night without noise.

At night, room is too bright or too dark. No dimmer for main light. The bathroom seems a bit old.

Super friendly helpful staff. Comfortable beds, cozy room, cool technology on the shower and toilet.

Would have liked some kind of fluff and fold cleaning service rather than having to do laundry with coin-op machines (only 2 washers and 3 dryers); the breakfast buffet in the restaurant was mediocre, I preferred to go out to bakeries.

This hotel is lcated about a three minute walk from Akabane Station, 2 minutes from a Family Mart and 5 minutes from a 7 Eleven. Its very clean and check in and check out was very easy. The staff were really nice and everything was very organised. Great hotel for the price. We stayed in a room with a large double bed (two adults and a ten year old) and found we had plenty of room to sleep (at first we were a little worried we would be cramped in the one bed).

Spacious rooms, had a special space to store suitcases near the door. The hotel has an upscale ambiance with music, decorations and scents in the corridors. There are two convenience stores one minute walk from the hotel entrance, and Akabane Park with a nice play area for kids is a short walk away.

The laundry room has dated facilities, with electrical clothes dryers that take a long time to dry clothes. It was busy in the evenings. If you do not mind a 5 min walk, there is a modern, clean, 24h open laundromat facilities called Earth Laundry nearby (search google maps for アースランドリー赤羽店).
