Nice and quiet town that had everything within a five minute walk. The walk to Oji station was two minutes away. Approximately 30 minutes by train to any major touristy area in Tokyo. Hotel was clean and had extra towels, soap, and toliet paper. We used the sauna many times and definitely took advantage of the laundry machine. Wifi was amazing as well!

Nice quite hotel not far from station . very clean rooms and the free Internet is very good . lots of small 7 to 11 shops nearby and found a great cafe to have a breakfast before setting off for the days adventures . it was called The Little Mermaid . their is a free breakfast also available in the hotel . if you not bothered about a bar or restaurant ( plenty of these things nearby ) just a really nice clean hotel and friendly staff if you needed help this is a great place for you . I am going back to Japan next year as i did not see everything I wanted to but I am definitely booking this hotel again .

no English translations on washing machine took a long time to wash my clothes . just point out the quick wash and that is not a criticism at least you had 2 washes with washing liquid that where free to use .

I have stayed here previously, and my comments from my previous review are still valid: In its favour is its location just 5 minutes from train and metro lines (and buses and trams). Second thing is its sauna which is just the ticket for a relaxing break after a hard day’s sightseeing (although cameras in the locker and relaxation rooms is very creepy). Third thing in its favour is the breakfast. It is very, very simple, but so good.

The thing going against Tokio’s Hotel is the no cleaning of the rooms during your stay. I get this for short stays. But we were there 9 nights. I wouldn’t go a week in my own home without cleaning - there is no way I want to go without it in a hotel that I am paying good money for. Fix it.

This location is about a 3 min walk from Oji station and there are a lot of nice cafes and restaurants around. It’s residential so it’s very quiet but it’s only a short ride from places like Harajuku or Shinjuku. I liked the self-check in/check out, and they were able to accommodate an early check in which was great! There are technically irons and humidifiers available but they were never in the communal amenities spot. I never asked about it though so I’m not holding anything against the hotel. Beds are hard but I personally love that. Highly recommend for the price!

I wish the trash separation was explained more clearly.

We love the spacious room compared to other hotels in Tokyo. They had a big bathroom with full of amenities and toiletries, even the lotion for face and body :)

The location is around 30 mins from the center of Tokyo, but we spent most of the time outside and only came back for a sleep so it wasn’t a problem. Check-in time is after 17:00 pm so if you have a morning flight then consider it well because it could be a little bit tired for staying outside until exactly 17:00

Excellent location - only a 4-minute walk from Oji Station. There are plenty of dining options nearby, along with several convenience stores within easy reach. The room was large and clean, making for a very comfortable stay. Perfect for a short stay to explore the city.

While there was no staff on-site and all communication was handled through an iPad, it worked smoothly - any issues I had were resolved very quickly. A bit more attention to cleanliness would improve the overall experience.

The hotel sits close to Ōji station (both JR and Tokyo Metro), outside the Yamanote Line but greatly connected to the centre (20 minutes to Tokyo central station and less than 15 to Shinjuku). The facility is unmanned, but it's easy to get through since there are instructions in Japanese, English, Korean and Chinese. The free sauna is a great place to relax after a whole day out, and never too crowded. The wifi works great and the room is ample.

Good location as there are quite a few convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The Triple Room is quite spacious for 3 guests.

1. The hot water supply is not steady. The water temperature is not steady(and need to adjust after some time) when using both hot and cold water from the taps for a shower. 2. The drainage of the basin is slow. 3. We are staying for 4 nights but no extra rubbish bag provided.

The location is excellent, 5 minute walk from Ōji station. Check in process is very easy. Other guests were respectful of quiet hours. The room was clean and comfortable.

There is no option to have cleaning between nights. Washer/dryer did not have enough translations or instructions to be helpful to non-Japanese speakers. There is a quick dry function which would have saved 2 hours had there been better signage.

Spacious room with 2 comfortable beds. There was enough space to locate your luggage and hang few clothes. There is no cleaning in the room when tourists book consecutive nights which I find as an advantage and an environmentally friendly solution. Light free breakfast with coffee is provided as a bonus. Tea pot was provided inside the room, microwave was in the corridor (if you are a first time traveler you might not know that you can get any food type in the nearest market and just heat it up) which is also useful. There is a washing machine and a baggage locker near the self-check-in area. Couldn’t visit the sauna as was busy with tourist attractions around and by the evening too tired 😃. Place is quiet and clean. Would definitely come back.

Location can be the only one very negligible item. It is required to change the metro line to go to asakusa, shinjuku or shibuya, but it is just a few stops from the zoo where you can see pandas and that was one of my favorite places in Tokyo 💕🌺🐼
