Especially considering the price that I paid for it (I booked it shortly before the peak cherry blossom season when it's often difficult to find a hotel that is both affordable and comfortable at the same time), it turned out to be better than expected. It's a business hotel where the "rooms" are essentially refurbished tiny apartments and, aside from the basics (bedroom and a bathroom) there is also a small kitchen where you can cook. It wasn't overly luxurious but again, for the price you pay it's more than enough. The check-in process took only around five minutes and was fairly simple overall. According to the information I found the staff seemed to only speak Japanese and Chinese, but the owner (I did not interact with anyone else who to my knowledge was a staff member) also knows English, so even foreigners who speak no Japanese can stay here. The owner will also reply quickly if you have any questions. All rooms in the apartment were clean. It's only located about 10 minutes away from Oji station and right next to a supermarket which was a big plus. I recommend this place to people traveling on a budget and/or those who want to be left alone .

Sometimes, there seemed to be issues with the hot water (mainly in the kitchen) and only cold water would come out even if the faucet was set on hot water for a long time. I also remember feeling that there could've been a few more items added to the kitchen (e.g. no saucepan). Other than that, I don't recall any major problems.

Feel like staying at home, you can find fridge, IH stove, bathtub and even washing machine in the room. You can find a big shopping centre that is for residential area, although no restaurant in the shopping centre, having a supermarket and 100yen shop is fair enough for travelers.

Missing a notice or reception made me need to ask someone to dial the number to find the owner, who is in the building actually

The size of the room, the cleanliness, the location for what I needed, close to a station, easy commute into the city around 30 min walk to where my event was. This property is such good value for the area.

Maybe an extra towel or bath mat.

Very nice staff at the time of visiting. Nice neighbourhood and relatively close to the metro. A well equipped room but a little small.

The presentation is how it is, not too pretty from the outside.

Staff was responsive and helpful. Kitchen was fairly well equipped. One large pan was provided. WiFi was fast and stable.

There was a window without a curtain, there was direct light in my eyes every morning. The bed was so close to the table you couldn't take the chair back to sit. There was no room to open luggage and no closet.

They didn't let us in and didnt give us a refund, upon arriving they said "no vacancy" and we had to find a new hotel to stay in
