Loved how cozy the place was. It was really spacious. The lower beds were great, and surprisingly good enough to accommodate 2 people in one. The area around us was just bustling and it was great! So many things to see. The hosts are wonderful communicators and we really appreciate all the prompt answers <3

While everything was spacious, the bathroom was not. It was a little bit uncomfortable for us girls, so I can only imagine it'd be tough for bigger guys. Do take note. The ladder to the bunk beds are really hard to get up and down (the steps are rounded, not flat), so there might be some mobility issues there.

Very comfortable apartment in an excellent location. The Shimokitazawa neighborhood is a smaller scale, vibrant place great for walking and with a variety of excellent dining and shopping places. Being close to the train station was perfect for quickly getting to other parts of Tokyo.

More towel racks in the bathroom would help for hanging things. One or two more cabinets in main area for placing things to keep organized, rather than keeping things in the suitcase on the floor. The place was super comfortable, but 601 could use a fresh coat of paint to brighten it up.

This location was AMAZING, right in the heart of Shimokitazawa, so close to the subway, grocery store, etc. The space itself was awesome, and our teenager said "this is the coolest place we've stayed in Japan yet", and we'd stayed at some pretty cool places. The design was great, the layout was perfect for parents with a teen. Loved the washer/dryer and clothes drying rack. The balcony was awesome. Just really perfect. We wished we had stayed in the area for longer... just tons of cools coffee shops, restaurants, vintage clothing stores, etc.

I can't really think of anything wrong with the place. It wasn't cheap, but it was pretty great.

Great apartment for a family of 4, was spacious for Japan standards. Nice and bright which made it feel bigger. We had room to open our suitcases without falling over them. You can see Skytree and Tokyo Tower from the huge windows. My girls loved the bunk beds. Literally a hop to the train station and surrounded by great little shops and restaurants in a vintage/trendy area. A few stops on the train to Shibyu/Shinjuku. Was a nice little retreat at the end of a crazy day in Tokyo.

Nothing bad to say at all, the only small thing they could do is put some hooks in the bathroom/laundry to hang towels

Really great space. Extremely large for Tokyo accommodation, so we could really stretch out. I loved the little art touches around the accommodation. The location was also great, so close to the station and lots of excellent food options around, perfect base for wandering shimo-kitazawa.

The blinds are see- through. We found it difficult to sleep past 7am since the sun was very bright every morning (we stayed in late May). Darker blinds/curtains are needed. Be aware that the shower room is on the small side.

The location is hard to beat. It's just a 2 minute walk from metro and the building is in the middle of a very hip neighborhood with cool restaurants, bars, and tons of vintage stores. The area is semi-busy but also very quiet. We were a group of 4 people, it was bunk bed style but made very well. The bunk beds doesn't creak at all, very very sturdy as if you're sleeping on a separately floor. I sleep so well on the top bunk. Although there's only one toilet, because the sink, shower, toilets were all separated in its own room...it was designed to be convenient even with 4-5 people in the room. There is also a washer in the bedroom!

Great location, especially if you have been to Tokyo previously and have already been to Ginza etc. The area is pretty cool with tons of restaurants, shops etc but in small, mostly carless streets. Train station is 2min walk and so is a large supermarket. The apartment was comfortable and nicely decorated, had everything you needed (even adapters!)

We were travelling with a 2 year old so a curtain to separate bed area from living space would’ve been good (once they go to bed, can have lights on elsewhere)..

Perfect spot – everything’s close by: shops, restaurants, supermarket, and the station all within walking distance. Mattresses were actually really decent too – comfortable and good quality. Would stay again.

A couple of small things – there was a bit of a smell coming from the shower, and the fridge door didn’t close properly on its own, so you had to push it shut each time. The place also felt a bit more dated than it looked in the photos.

Great size room for a family of 5. Beds are comfortable and there was a washer/dryer in the room, which was very handy. The location of the property is awesome, it is on a 2 minute walk to the train station and the station is on an express line. If you catch the express train, it’s only one stop from Shibuya. After a big day of exploring and navigating through crowds, it was nice to come back to Shimo-Kitazawa where there was still a buzz but not over crowded. Lots of great places to eat and all with in walking distance, there is even a few convenience stores steps away. I 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Had a little bit of trouble signing in with the self check in but the host was quick to respond and help us.

The room is really large for Tokyo standards and great attention to design details. It's been designed as a loft rather than a hotel room hence it really has a home away from home feel. On top of that it is in a lively neighbourhood.

The room design is inviting but as you have no coffee capsules nor tea bags you have to leave your room to get a coffee. Would be nice to add these amenities to allow guests to enjoy spending a bit more time in the room. When we were there there was demolition / construction work on the plot next door - would have loved to know about that.
