This (capsule) hotel is conveniently located in Shimokitazawa! The area is quite lively so you’ll find anything you need (convenience stores, restaurants, shops) near you. The check-in and -out process was easy. The temperature in the room/capsule bed was just right. Overall it was clean. The showers are nice too and shampoo, body wash and towels are provided. :)

The bed above me creaked as the person sleeping above me moved. I guess that can’t be helped and I’m not blaming the place; it just means that i was woken from sleep a few times. But to be fair, I have a light sleep so if you’re not super sensitive to noise it should be fine.

Very cozy but clean, in a nice area that isn’t super busy but with very easy links to shibuya/shinjuku.

Clean and compact little hostel. Great location for checking out the Shimo-kitazawa night life!

It’s actually a really nice place. The reviews seem to be incredible critical but for me as a western tourist I can tell that is a very clean, well equipment and nice designed hostel. Yes, it is tiny and hence not much space but you know that before booking. I can very much recommend it!

Amazing location, very nice beautiful neighborhood, shops and cafes all around. The hotel is 2 minutes away from the train station, but the noise does not reach the hotel, it is a very quiet area. I found the bed very comfortable, during my stay I could sleep very well and there was no noise from either outside or in the room itself. The design of the common area is beautiful!!! and it is also quite big.

The room itself was extremely small, there was barely any area to walk or store the luggage. The kitchen did not have many appliances, but was satisfactory. It felt like the hotel was understaffed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Capsule was much better than I expected. The bathrooms weren't clean all the time because people use them but they were cleaned everyday.

There are no lockers or storage facilities as well as climbing up the stairs with heavy luggage.

Really beautifully arranged, and despite the small space, there are all the amenities you might need - kitchen, common area, toilets, showers, and laundry. The area around the hostel is very cool as well, even by local Tokyo standards (although it's not accessible on the regular subway system, so keep that in mind if you buy a metro pass). And I'm so appreciative that they allow pets in the private room!

Unfortunately, although the hostel is no smoking, the stairway up to it is not; I was woken up at 2am by the sounds of partying and the smell of cigarette smoke drifting in through the front door. They also need to be a little more fastidious with how they clean their showers, as there is some mildew forming on the upper walls near the door.

Great location in a great neighborhood !! Very easy to visit Tokyo. I met nice people here, the staff is very nice (especially Santosh) I recommend if you want to have a good time in Tokyo. I will come back for sure !!

Nothing but I can imagine sometimes people just have too much expectation when you already have all you need !

Great little hostel at a great location, nicely decorated. Everyone working there is super cool and they made me feel right at home. Met some cool people there too, really enjoyed my stay.

A bit too cramped, especially when it's full. Nowhere to put your things and not even a shelf in the capsule so more often than not I ended up sleeping with some od my things on the bed next to me. Somewhat annoying, but for the location for me it was worth it.
