Location was great, with easy access to public transport. The mini-market across the street was super convenient, and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The room was very clean, with a minimalistic, modern design that was spot on. The spaces were smartly laid out, and having a fully equipped kitchen was a huge plus. I loved the double vanity in the bathroom, and having controls for all the lights right by the bed (as well as at the entrance) was such a thoughtful touch. The room was spacious, and the photos on the website accurately represented it.

Wish the front desk spoke a bit more English - though maybe I should speak a bit more Japanese! Either way, we managed just fine with translation apps :). As long as you understand you’ll be relying heavily on public transit (there aren’t many places of interest nearby), this place is amazing.

Loved the location. A 30 second walk to a train station, and a 10-15 min walk to Akihabara (electric town). There is a mini supermarket across the road and plenty of food outlets all around the hotel. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The room size was amazing and having the second area to close off for the kids was perfect.

The beds were very firm. Hard to get comfortable and the pillows were strange. Really the only negative things BUT I believe firm mattresses are common in Japan and despite this, I would stay again. Room had a washer/dryer, the drying function wasn't great (or maybe I didn't know how to use it properly) but plenty of laundromats around and a wash and fold place about a 7 minute walk was also very cheap.

I've stayed here twice already due to the flexibility and comfy-ness of it. It's around the corner from a JR station, but fairly nice to walk around and many convenient things nearby. You can easily get around to places like Ueno, Akihabara, Ginza, Ikebukoro, and Sumida. The neighborhood itself is pretty quiet, but not desolate either. There's a small grocery store, cozy places to eat for any time of day, of course plenty of combinis, it was really easy to walk by to small niche stores, or easily to bigger places as well. The view of the water when walking over either close-by bridges were relaxing to walk by too. There's a lot of small local food places nearby, I recommend being equipped with a photo translator on your phone. The rooms are very clean and well-kept. In a previous stay, they even had a tatami mat area option which I loved; it gave flexibility to those in your party who like sleeping on tatami and those who prefer western beds. With everything they provide for kitchen-ware (even paper towels!! :)), fridge, laundry, living space, I recommend this for people with longer stays (3-4 or more)

One great thing is that rooms with a washing machine are also a 2-in-1 dryer -- however, I noticed that the lint trap needed extra cleaning. I would recommend to include general lint-trap cleaning instructions in the already helpful laundry machine guide, and maybe have housekeeping/cleaners do a thorough cleaning more often. We were confused at first why wasn't our clothes actually dried until we poked around looking for the lint trap, which is out of the way. I do wish that extra pillows were available too; the pillows aren't flimsy but they're just rather small.

The hotel is in a very convenient location, only a few minutes walk from Asakusabashi station. There is one supermarket across the street, and another supermarket only a 1 minute walk away. There are many restaurants near the train station. The area is quieter than other parts of Tokyo which was good for our family. The accommodation was clean, and could fit our family of 2 adults and 4 children. We had 2 single beds, with 4 futon style mattresses provided on tatami mats. The kitchen space was useful, and it included a stove, microwave and toaster oven. The bathroom also had a washer/dryer. Clothes washing liquid is provided by the hotel. Unlike other accommodation in Japan, there was actually space in the room to keep our luggage.

I know that accommodation in Tokyo is very expensive, particularly over the New Years period. However, after having paid almost Y100,000 per night (for a 6 night stay), we were asked to pay an additional Y2,000 per bed, per night, for the 5th and 6th bed. I don't blame the hotel for the bedding mix up, but I did think the extra charge was unnecessary given how much we were already paying for the accommodation. Although the website showed bunk beds for the accommodation, this was not actually the case. Luggage forwarding options provided by the hotel were very limited.

Location location location! Super close to the station and kombini, super convenient to get around Tokyo. The room was spacious, plenty of space for our family of 4, decent facilities inside the room (washer and dryer, microwave, toaster oven and electric hot plate). They were happy to keep our luggages for few days while we visited Kyoto and Osaka (we came back to stay at Monday again afterwards). It was a pleasant stay and we will definitely come back again.

Nothing major. If we were being extremely picky, we probably would love the room to be cleaned every second day instead of every 3 days (which we were aware of it's pretty common in Tokyo)

As a big family, we love having a whole apartment to ourselves. We’ve stayed at the Ueno location previously, and eagerly booked this location this time around. We were not disappointed! Strongly recommend this hotel for larger groups. The location is convenient to public transport — we arrived here from Haneda Airport with tons of luggage. There’s a Lawson next door, and a grocery store across from the hotel. The kitchen is well stocked for making quick meals by US standards), with a microwave, a toaster oven, and cooking range. The sleeping arrangements are very comfortable, especially for taller people. The bathroom is very clean and utilitarian, with a tub and shower.

Can’t think of much to note. Really enjoyed our stay!

This location is a mere 3min walk to the JR station and roughly 7min walk to the other subway stations. Theres a grocery store right across the street and a Family mart 2 doors down. Compared to other hotels I rented in Japan this one is by far the most spacious. Was perfect for my family as we had a 6 month baby with us so the kitchen and dining table allowed us to spread all our items out and clean bottles. Our room came with a washer/dryer ( 1 machine does both in a single cycle), fridge, freezer, sink and cutlery and plates. Best feature for me is the shower and toilet are separate so if someone needed the toilet it wouldn’t be occupied by the person showering. You don’t get the typical physical key card entry into your room, here they provide you with two numeric passcodes. One to enter the to and the other to enter the building after hours and to access the elevators. I believe from 11/12pm until 5/6am there is no agent working the lobby to the front doors are locked and you’ll need a passcode to enter. Another thing I loved about this hotel is the door automatically locks when you enter the which I really appreciated when my hands were full of shopping bags.

Although they provided us with enough garage bags and towels to last us until the next cleaning - this hotel only does a full room cleaning every 3 days. You can ask the agent at check in for more towels and amenities are available anytime at the front desk as well. Any garbage and used towels they ask you to just put them in plastic bags tied up outside your door by noon every day and the cleaning crew will come dispose of it.

Spacious room for 5-6 people lots of attention to details in the room. Had air purifier, well stocked kitchen (Noritake dishes), the cutest tiger kettle and a washing machine. Hotel was very close to a station and a grocery store was opposite the entrance of the hotel, which seemed to be open 24 hours a day.

Did not have an English guidebook at the front desk as they had run out

Very clean, friendly and helpful staff, amenities including washing detergent were provided, super close proximity to both JR & Asakusabashi station (asakusa line) with elevator from west exit. There's a super nice taiyaki stall just down the street! The hotel is able to help store our luggage for couple of days before we return from mt fuji again and hv them forwarded to other city too. A convenient shop is on the right of the hotel and a local supermarket right in front of it! Try to take room at higher level as the morning lift is always full and need some time to get down.

Nothing!

The front desk was extremely helpful. Hotel kept our luggage while we were away for 3 days. The hotel is only 3mins walk to West exit of Asakusabashi Station, with an escalator/lift. Lawson is just right next to the hotel, and the opposite is a local supermarket. 7-11 is nearby, too. Hotel provided daily necessities, incl toothbush/toothpaste, laundry detergent, facial cotton, cotton buds, tea/coffee/creamer/sugar/hairbrush, hair tie. Adequate clean towels provided for 4 pax over 3 nights stay. The nail clipper is available to loan. Washer/dryer in the room. Unit 03's layout is more squarish than unit 01, hence more walking space. Quiet neighbourhood. Asakusa line, Chio-sobu line, and bus services are very convenient.

1. Waiting time for the elevator during busy check out time is long if you stay at a lower level. 2. Must remember to turn on the water heater in advance of your bath! Water can be so cold. 3. Setting up futons by ourselves.
