Clean, modern and convenient location. Bathroom bigger than other hostels (you can sit down on the toilet without being able to lick the door)

The private room with twin beds is literally 2 mattresses on the floor next to each other, with hardly any floor space. But this is Tokyo, and it is what it is.

This was located quite near a train station and you can manage even with luggage. The building is new and so the facilities are as well, and everything is still nice. Checking in and checking out was straightforward and there's a communal lounge for everyone to hang out in. If you like quiet neighborhoods, this is a good place to stay.

I was expecting actual beds, not just mattresses on the floor, but at least the mattresses were comfortable. We really should've taken a better look at the room pictures. I'm also not quite sure if we also had to ask for daily cleaning of our room, since it wasn't mentioned to us when we checked in and it also wasn't listed in the info provided in the booking.com page.

The hostel is only 3minutes walk away to Asakusabashi Station, so it’s very convenient and easy to get around the city. 15-20 minutes walk away to Sensoji Temple. The hostel is clean and comfortable. The Staffs are very helpful.

I wish they used the same name of the property both on Google Maps and Booking.com. So, it doesn’t create confusion to find the hostel. On my arrival, when I enter the name on the MAPS.ME, as in Booking.com, somehow it led me to another hostel, which shares similarity in the name, which happen to be in the same area as this hostel. Apparently the name of this hostel on Google Maps and MAPS.ME is Grid Hostel.

Hotel Plus Hostel Tokyo Akihabara was the perfect choice for my Tokyo stay. The location is excellent — just a short walk from Asakusabashi Station, with easy access to Akihabara, Asakusa, and Ueno. The hostel is very clean, with stylish interiors, comfortable beds, and secure card access. I liked the free amenities (like toothbrushes, razors, slippers), and the shared kitchen and lounge were great for relaxing after a long day. The staff were helpful, and I had no trouble finding halal-friendly or pork-free food nearby.

Honestly, I had no major complaints. The rooms are compact, but that’s normal for Tokyo. Everything else was smooth and enjoyable!

Good location with Independent Property (dedicated for the hostel itself). 1) feasible flow design (合理的な空間や動線) 2) clean and all sealed interior for the room (with clean carpet material), hall and the japanese shower with space to change. 3) solid bunk setups with sufficient space (確実にセットアップした快適なベッドスペース) 4) Minimalist (limited) public space with asian-preferred quietness. Proper Elevator (등등한것) 5) Sincere and helpful staff (in the evening) (Unlike those unhelpful business smile for westerners ha!) 6) Free from over-controlling Japanese micro-management (やりすぎるおもてなしはいらない)

很適合亞洲女生！혼자오시는여성분들이한태 짱이다 There is limited space and setup in the public area, which saves the increased management and human-caused troubles. You may find it lack of “community” vibe nor the space to allow people to connect. However, the entire property can focus on offering a compact, comfortable, minimalist lifestyle.

Straightforward check-in and check-out, private locker for valuables without the need to bring an extra lock yourself, clean amenities. Fantastic location (I loved the Asakusabashi neighborhood) with a lot of great Cafés and restaurants all around you. Lots of convenience stores and grocery stores available as well. Asakusabashi station is just a stone's throw away and serves as an easy entryway to all other areas in Tokyo. Alternatively you can also walk over to Akihabara in just under 10 minutes.

Unfortunately they no longer allow the temporary storage of luggage for the day you check-out (after the official check-out time) since April 1st, 2025. But that's about the only slight inconvenience I can think of, everything else was fantastic.

1) The location was great. It was walkable from multiple metro stations, safe to return late at night and near to convenient stores. 2) The breakfast was decent with limited options but the food quality was good. 3) The wi-fi connectivity, number of sockets were good enough. 4) The room was clean, good air-conditioned but slightly smaller in size. 5) The staff was friendly and spoke good English.

1) We booked two beds but we were allotted two separate rooms on different floors which was inconvenient for us. 2) They did not store our luggage even for a few hours after checkout so we had to store it in the lockers of a metro station.

The common area is great for eating or working, it's also kept tidy and clean. The beds are on the firmer side. The shower and bathroom facilities are cleaned regularly, I have always found them in neat and clean condition when I went to use them. Staff was helpful. A coin laundry can be found on the top floor, cheap and convenient, though the drier needs to 2-3 30min cycles to fully dry a full load. The room was very warm and dry, there seem to be two air-cons, though there is a control for only one of them. There is only one shower on each floor, so you might need to wait to use it.

I like how near it is to different Train station, also near walking spots. I runned to two location that is near this Hotel! Its near food restaurant and convenient stores!

I messaged beforehand that we will be arriving late in the evening, when we arrived we where waiting outside for about 30min thank god that theres a tenant who let us in. At the lobby theres a sign that the person in charge was roaming and the only thing we can do to get her attention is to call her, not even whatsapp or we chat. We occupied the room with our own bathroom, for a 2 bed room it was crumped and we puzzled it up so our luggage could fit. We where never asked by the front desk if we want new towels or room clean up. They were just their minding their own business. Everytime we come up to our room the AC keeps on resetting and cant figure out how to make it work! So just tried our luck everynight.

the staff was great and helpful. since we are family of 6, we have booked one of the rooms for 6 nights. it was comfortable and very clean.. just 200m away from Asakubashi station., Near many stores and convenience stores. quiet neighborhood.. feels very safe! just perfect if you are just looking for a place to sleep in Tokyo. I like the fact that it has 2 bathrooms and the toilet is separate. the bathroom seems to be bigger compared to some other hotels. The quality of shampoo, conditioner and body wash is really great so we used it during our stay. They also have free lotion.
