A typical small one bed room with small bathroom, but comfortable. Lots of space in the lobby for meals or getherings. Really great, kind staff always on location to help. Free clothes washing machines and paid clothes dryers available for guests. Included light breakfasts were very handy and had good variety.

Poor sound proofing between rooms, light sleepers may struggle.

Staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive to my needs (this is coming from someone who cannot speak any Japanese). The Inn has an excellent cosy vibe, accentuated by all the timber finishing to the lobby areas. And I loved the complimentary light breakfast provided everyday - they were excellently prepared, delicious, and the fact that they were slightly different each day meant i never got tired of having them each morning for my 7 day stay at the Inn. The soup and prepared dish were of particularly noteworthy. It was also extremely helpful that free bike hiring was available - which made travelling around Tsukuba significantly easier. With the bike, i was able to goto the International Congress Centre, Tsukuba Station, and Tsukuba Botanical Gardens all in short time.

I do wish there were a few more powerpoints in my room, especially around the desks. But this is just a minor note since an extension cable + board was provided.

The property is quite comfortable for its price. The simple but delicious breakfast is served every morning. The bed linen and towels are changed every day. Despite the fact that the hotel is a bit old, everything is clean and maintained.

The rooms were small but there was lovely lobby on the first floor.

Staffs are really kind but cant speak English well, but its not a big problem. There are free breakfast and some snacks in the morning, coffee and tea are available for free, there is working space with manga collections but in Japanese, so far excellent with affordable budget.

Room is too small but still ok

This is my second stay at the hotel. Staff were helpful and kind! I enjoy their service to ride a bicycle around the premises of Tsukuba. Would come back a third time if the opportunity arises!

Bed was a bit stiff for my back and heater smelled when turned on, which are minor issues. Didn't not otherwise affect my expectations and experience!

Property location was great for my conference venue at the Tsukuba International Conference Center. Staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely great venue for money. There's a free simple breakfast as well which can tide you over until lunch if you don't usually eat breakfast.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice common room and a humble complimentary breakfast. Bicycle hire for free was very useful.

Size of the toilet and the trip hazard to get in and out of it.

Even it is was a little old, it was very quiet which is what I am looking for a hotel!

- breakfast wasn't advertised, but they did provide a light breakfast of bread, yogurt, coffee, etc. - the staff was so helpful and very friendly, despite my imperfect Japanese - the free bike rental is so convenient - the room had everything I needed, including a fridge, hot water boiler, extra table, and just enough room to roll out a yoga mat for exercise

- the bed was a little too soft for me - like most smaller hotel rooms, it was easy to hear noise from other rooms. It wasn't a problem for the most part, except when the room across the hall had a phone alarm that went off at 5:15am and wouldn't turn it off. Thankfully, I brought earplugs, which sufficiently blocked out the sound thereafter.

Breakfast was good. Rooms were comfy and better than expected. Property has been given a good refresh and is nicer than the current images on Booking.com
