Marriott has a great concept with the Fairfield hotels in Japan. The rooms are simple, small but has everything you need. Beds are good, bathrooms are good and the price is great. Ni breakfast is offered but always a supermarket close by and a lounge/kitchen at the hotel where you can prepare/heat up your.meal and enjoy it. Super friendly staff that will do anything to help you. Ocean view rooms with the famous Hashiguiiwa rocks right in front of you. Amazing ocean views.

This was our second Fairfield hotel in Japan and at both of them the airco doesn’t go below 23 degrees Celsius, which is too warm to sleep. You can’t open a window.

Beds were the most comfortable we had in our whole trip to Japan. Views from rooms at the front to the water were stunning. We were surprised there was a train line passing right beside the hotel at the back, but the room seemed to be very well sound proofed & we weren't disturbed by the few trains that passed on our overnight stay.

Perhaps some breakfast options as currently there is none. There are more restaurant options for dinner right near the hotel than what comes up on Google maps. Italian restaurant for dinner a couple of km up the road was fabulous.

The location was simply amazing and our room was great, but was made even more exceptional due to the view of the rocks and water. It was our favorite hotel on our vacation to Japan and Hong Kong (we stayed in 6 different hotels). One of our favorite parts of our stay was your employee Nonaka. Her personality was amazing and she was so sweet and helpful. She was so awesome that we asked her to take a picture with us because she was an important part to our trip to Japan.

Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and nice amenities, plus definitely bang for your buck in terms of value. Staff were friendly and hospitable, especially Tani-San, who helped to book us into some of the more popular restaurants in town that needed advance bookings! parking was free as well.

If I had to be nitty, I'd say no restaurants and baths nearby. But the hotel staff will gladly recommend you places to eat in town so it was not really a problem for me.

Nicest room I’ve ever stayed in. Also the hotel is located right across from the Hashigui rocks which I took tons of photos of. The build of the structure is also super strong, and even though we were on the coast during a hurricane, I couldn’t even hear the wind and rain outside and felt very safe. I also liked the kitchen and mini-store? that was available. The BEST part of this stay, was the staff. The staff were amazing and truly kind people. During the crises that my friend and I were stuck in, a staff member helped us greatly when all the transportation lines were shut down. If you are interested in going to this area, I couldn’t recommend this place more.

If I’m going to be picky, no conditioner. Besides that, absolutely amazing.

The hotel is very new, spacious, clean and comfortable. The view from the room was very nice. The staff were super helpful.

It is not so easy to get to the property by public transport. We would recommend to take a taxi from Kushimoto station. Avoid going from Kii-Hime station, since there is no walking path to the hotel.

Clean, modern hotel, lovely linen and soft bath towels. Washing facilities are great and use a mobile app (easy to use even for foreigners - gives you a timer ⌛ on your phone which is great 😃)

Limited breakfast options at the hotel however there are a few shops directly opposite where you can get a bite. If all fails there is definitely icecream available for breakfast 🥞

The bed is so comfortable. The best stay we had during our week long travel in Japan. Had a discounted upgrade for sea view on the upper level. Might be due to a weekday, we didn’t see other guests in the hotel.

Nothing much to do in the area other than relax. Had an early night for the day.

This was my favourite hotel during our three week road trip and sadly was only one night would have stayed here longer if it had been possible, we upgraded to a sea view which worked out at £7.50 extra and it is the best money I have ever spent view was amazing room was amazing and luxurious loved my stay here.

The hotel is an amazing place to rest and enjoy the local culture. The facilities are new and everything is clean and organized. They are very helpful and collaborative to recommend you restaurants, activities and places to visit.

It doesn’t have restaurant. However, they recommend you places to visit around.
