The Al Manara is a great hotel with great food and facilities. Access to the sea is superb with loungers and towels aplenty. The hotel food is great quality, and the happy hour is ideal to encourage on-site dining. You walk outside for a change of good dining options and snacks. South Beach is also nearby (10 minute taxi) and well worth a visit for top-quality snorkelling 10 out of 10.

Nice location and refined luxury.

The laundry prices are abusive. How can you justify 7USD for a simple t-shirt and 3USD for a pair of socks. Laundry is a basic/simple service…this is abusive.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The interior decoration is stunning. The room was spacious, very comfortable and smart. The breakfast was delicious, good food and a lot of choice.

Be aware that you have to book in advance for some of the restaurants. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that they were building on the opposite side of the hotel so the view was spoiled. It would be fantastic when they finish the work.

The Staff made the holiday wonderfully all very polite respectful etc, Greeted with parking lot boys then Mhammed the little man greeting us with his coffee, Abdulrahman was a great help and the nice ladies too on the reception. Then the Villas mohammed everyday made sure the Villas and the swimming pool are so clean unbelievable. Not forgetting the breakfast, Greta & mohammed our personal Cheif's for breakfast, no words can describe their attendance. Finally, the had working Jenny and I know the girls were a challenge for her but she always was there for them ....

That we have to leave 😔 after 4 wonderfully days. But we will be back in August

We were forced to flee Israel due to the war. We did so by Eilat to Aqaba and selected Al Manara to stay in until our flight left. Absolutely first class hotel and staff. Gorgeous, clean accommodations and excellent amenities. Staff are extremely friendly, courteous, and efficient. Pool and beach areas were clean and expertly maintained. I liked how the lifeguards encouraged the kids to play and interacted with them. Waiting/serving staff are amazing. Duncan is a fabulous bartender and server who treated us magnificently during dinner, and Gretchen was very kind and attentive during breakfast. The staff helped us schedule a shuttle to the airport and got us there ahead of schedule. The restaurants are fabulous— the catch of the day at Taybeh was the best fish I’ve ever had!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and exceptionally clean. The entire hotel is well-maintained with top-level cleanliness. The location is ideal – just a 10-minute walk to the beach and city center, making everything easily accessible. The service was outstanding – we were warmly welcomed by Abdelrahman Dallo, a truly kind and charming person. The breakfast chef was also amazing, offering us personal attention and delicious food every morning. Even the pool staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling. In short – this hotel feels like home, with a team that goes above and beyond to create a perfect experience. Highly recommended!

The one downside was that bringing in outside food and drinks is not allowed, which was a bit disappointing. Also, the hotel restaurant is quite expensive, and the food selection is limited – there’s definitely room for improvement in this area. That said, the dining atmosphere is fantastic – comfortable seating, breathtaking views, and a truly relaxing vibe.

Mini bar was empty 🥲 there is nothing to snack on at night. You need to bring your own snacks.

Excellent hotel with exceptionally customer orientated, friendly and polite staff. High quality facilities, a selection of pool areas and beaches and high standard rooms.

The only drawback to Al Manara (and it may well be the same for the other hotels in Aquaba) are the number of unruly children whose parents seem unable to control. At times, this makes it feel like you're in a kids playground rather than a hotel. The answer is to provide a dedicated dining space for families and to make one of the pool areas for adults only.
