My stay at InterContinental Aqaba was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the experience was defined by exceptional service, warm hospitality, and high standards of comfort. The location is perfect, with direct access to a private beach along the beautiful Red Sea. The view from my room was stunning, especially at sunrise. The hotel grounds are immaculate, with several pools, a great gym, and a relaxing spa—all well-maintained and easy to access. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, with a very comfortable bed and modern amenities. Housekeeping was consistent and thoughtful throughout my stay. One of the biggest highlights was the level of personal service I received. I’d like to extend special thanks to Naser, the client manager, who went above and beyond to assist me. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made a huge difference and added a personal touch that truly stood out. Breakfast was excellent each morning, with a wide selection of fresh and flavorful options, both local and international. The hotel’s restaurants also offered high-quality meals in a relaxed and elegant setting. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, InterContinental Aqaba delivers a luxury experience with heart. I wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jordan.

I went to the InterContinental in Mekkah last year, and I was expecting the same level of luxury at Aqaba. I'm not saying it was bad but there is no way we can compare this to that. Coffee was the main issue, there is one expresso machine that is located very far away in the breakfast area, we discivered it by accident and we couldn't use it directly, we had to wait for one of the staff to handle it. In Mekkah, our room had an expresso machine. The breakfast was more luxurious in Mekkah as well. Saying that, when we asked for extras during the breakfast the staff went ahead and immediately provided everything we needed and they exceeded our expectations. So, I wouldn't blame the staff, maybe its related to budget cutting due to tourism situation in Aqaba caused by the issues happening in the countries around us. The cleaning lady was excellent, she cleaned everything really well

- The Coffee was a disappointment - The rooms are too dark at night, lights there are not enough. I was supposed to work and run meetings during the night but the room was too dark to handle that efficiently. - I'd like more activities on the shore, like one hotel offers an experience to walk under the sea with an Oxygen Helmet. - We left the hotel to try some activities in other hotels and places - I'd say a water park for kids is also essential and there is a good space at the shore to build that - There was no fish in the sea which was very weird. I've went to many beaches before, this is the first time I see no fish, no shells, no corals. How did you do that? Hope its not a chemical that harm our environment!

We enjoyed everything in our stay. Staff are really the stars here. They are genuinely nice and are always ready to assist.

The hotel is undergoing a major renovation. It's not a bad thing but that means many of the rooms with a sea view are not available. To me it looked that the hotel was not in full gear. Some pool sections were closed and not all facilities are working. That also might be due to renovation. Regardless, it's still is a pleasure to be there.

During our recent stay at the InterContinental Hotel and Resort in Aqaba, my siblings and I enjoyed a truly memorable experience. We spent two nights in a stunning sea view suite, which provided us with breathtaking views of the Red Sea. The suite itself was luxurious and well appointed, offering both comfort and elegance. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and the array of amenities available made our time at the resort even more special. We particularly appreciated the serene atmosphere and the opportunity to relax in such beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay was a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury, and it was clear that the InterContinental Aqaba is dedicated to providing an outstanding guest experience. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The beach was clean. Staff were sufficient in numbers to attend to guest needs. The property was full considering the Easter weekend, yet staff were sufficient to attend to needs of customers. The Breakfast was magnificent with excellent options for everyone. I particularly liked the tea servings and possibility of adding different type of herbs & spices :)

I suggest to add another Table Tennis Table and include number of (other) sport activities for young adults!

The resort was big but easy to get around with a private beach on the doorstep at the Red Sea which was great. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. It was a nice place to relax towards the end of our stay in Jordan.

Not all the restaurants and cafes were open which was a shame but we were able to find some good restaurants for dinner at the marina village just a short drive away.

Everything was up to our expectations! The hotel is clean, safe and the staff are great! From Ahmed in room service to Marwan and Kiras at the reception. The rooms were super clean and everything we needed we found. The beach front restaurant and bar was excellent thanks to Mr. Mohammad Salah and Michael they made us feel like home. Intercontinental Aqaba will be the only hotel we will stay in everytime we are in Aqaba.

I booked a single bed room but was upgraded to a double bed room with a balcony with sea view was amazing, the beach and pools were clean and tidy. For open buffet breakfast there was plenty to choose from even for the most demanding guests. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful, from the security at the gate and front entrance to the receptionist and spa employees. The gym is excellent and my favorite was the rowing machine.

The hotel was almost empty due to the current situation in the neighboring country.

Pool and sun terrace all well maintained and pleasant. Hotel clean and well maintained. Breakfast good.

Fact diving into pool strictly prohibited and resulted in fairly constant lifeguard whistling. Similar in the sea where swimming outside of the barriers or the second after the sun had set was met with whistles and argument’s. Suggest you relax a little. Less whistling would be nice. Also music round pool very loud everywhere. Suggest you keep music to the kids area and give adults a bit of peace and tranquility.

The friendliness of the staff. We were lucky to get an early check-in then we were informed that not only breakfast but all soft drinks and snacks would be free at different locations during the day because we had taken a club room with the panoramic view. Pay that little extra and be treated like royalty. There were also free alcoholic cocktails along with diner snacks which were not snacks but a full meal. There is a Nespresso machine in the room which has a huge bathroom. The reception area is very inviting with high ceilings and confortable sofas. The beach loungers and tents are very comfortable in it's a nice touch that they give you water bottles at the same time as your huge beach towels. Being an older hotel the vegetation around the pools is luxuriant with tall palm trees. One of the pools was heated and the outside jacuzzi was warm too, highly appreciated in March.

The jacuzzis need some bubbles also coming from the floor for everyone who has hiked in Petra and Wadi Rum. The decoration of the highly rated Lebanese restaurant is bland at best. Men's jacuzzi in the spa was too hot to enter. The noise level in the main breakfast restaurant was too high. Toilets are very hard to flush.
