We had a wonderful stay at Petra Aretas Hotel. The emminities and location were great. Value for the price The location is close to the visitor center. We used the public free parking facility opposite the visitors center for tourists. The hosts - Mohammad (Sallar) and Mohammad (Mojo) were exceptional. Don't forget to have Mansaf (Jordanian delicacies). Let Sallar / Mojo help you with that. It was one of the best we had in Jordan 😀 Will highly recommend this place, whoever is planning their next visit to Petra

There's nothing to say. All was well

Location was unbeatable, just a quick walk to the Petra welcome center. Free parking in the property. Strong WiFi. Beds were super comfortable, king size, and clean! (Surprisingly nice pillows too). Powerful Air condition unit! Good breakfast. I liked that they started service early so we could be 6:30 am sharp at Petra’s entrance. Staff were very attentive and helpful at the front desk and the person who cooked out breakfast. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Bathroom was on the small side but to us it was not a problem.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The location is great, just 5 minute walk to Petra archeological site. The price was reasonable. We had adequate towels without having to request them (which hasn't always been the case at other hotels!) and were given complimentary bottle of water at check-in.

The bathroom was clean, but rather small and needs updating. We had family room for 4 people which was a little small for that many people. However the location and reasonable price still made it a good value.

The hotel is very close to Petra, about 10 mins walk to the visitor centre. Staff are kind and helpful.

The water pressure was a bit low when you have multiple people from different rooms using the water at the same time. During my stay, there were only 2 rooms (including me) were occupied. The water from the bathroom was just dripping. I have flagged this issue to the hotel. Hopefully, they can make an improvement on this soon.

Excellent, friendly, helping staff (I am sorry I forgot the name, excellent, patient, kind gentleman), good location 700 m walk from the Petra Visitors center (pay 2 JOD for taxi on your way back, steep as all Waqdi Musa is). Large comfortable newly furnished room with good AC, carpark available until we finished the visit, good WiFi. Late check-in (after midnight). We highly recommend this stay. They packed us lunch packages instead of breakfast. All was good.

The hotel is wonderful and all the staff were great. The location is fabulous - 10 minutes walk from the visitor centre. The room we had had three beds which were comfortable and clean. The pillows were a little too soft for my liking, but everyone has their own preferences and it certainly didn't seem to be an issue for any of us to sleep. The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and clearly fresh. When asked where our next stop was during check out we were given directions to a spot we wouldn't have found on our own and had a cracking adventure on roads no sat nav would have chosen on its own. Thank you so much for a lovely stay.

I really can't think of anything we didn't like.

Aretas is a 5 minute walk from the Petra Visitor Museum + Gate in a quieter residential area. The hotel is clean, safe and very welcoming. While the rooms are simple, the Hotel has invested in the details that matter - fresh high quality cotton sheets and thick towels. The breakfast is fresh, healthy and clean food. The staff are very accommodating and helpful- Mojo, the night manager, was fantastic making us feel at home!

Not a scenic property.

Where can we start? This amazing hotel offers a huge amount to its guests including friendly hospitality, a wonderful breakfast, complementary lunch pack up, water, and extremely comfy rooms. We had a good sized bedroom with a decent bathroom (the water was always hot), fridge, hairdryer and blackout blinds for the windows. For a two star hotel it exceeded expectations. We arrived on our first night and decided to eat in as we were a bit fatigued and although there is no restaurant here, the staff provided us with a lovely dinner which catered for a vegetarian too. Totally impressed. If you want a great value, immaculately clean hotel to stay in while visiting Petra (5 mins walk from the visitor centre) then look no further. Thank you to all the staff for a great stay.

Nothing at all.

The check in process was very easy. I had told them it was my Birthday and they had decorated the bed with Happy Birthday and a towel decoration which was lovely and made my day. The next day were starting off early for Petra so they provided a breakfast to go for us which was great, it was so plentiful, we are so Thankful for their accomadation and friendliness there. Very nice hotel.

There was nothing that I did not like about this property.

Great breakfast, Mojo was a very hospitable host. He even drove us to the starting point for the back door hike to Petra. Hotel is within walking distance of the main entrance to Petra, though up a hill. Wifi signal is pretty decent, as long as you're not streaming stuff like Netflix. Parking space is ample in the hotel location. There are quite a few restaurants nearby. Shower water pressure pretty strong.
