-Excellent location -Easy access with cable car ride or e-taxi from the lower level to the resort level. -Easy access to get the cable car ticket and go to level 2&3 -Excellent friendly reception staff during check in. -Pretty decent complimentary breakfast. -Temperature controlled mini pool with a view. -Rooms with balcony with Mountain View. -One of the room had cabin wood interior which match with the surrounding to make you feel like you are in a mountain cabin. -Paid dinner menu was pretty decent and delicious and not that expensive even though there is not a lot of option around. -Free Sauna was good as well. Also they provide different selection of free tea’s. -There is heating in the room.

-Oh! There was a lady staff at night duty in the reception. She was very rude and rough behaving to our group when we go to her to get some information. Specially to the ladies in our group she was extremely rude. Otherwise all other staffs were excellently behaving. -Bathrooms in the room were really tiny. You have to be very carefully to move , specially kids as there is glass part around. -WiFi get disconnected quite often automatically.

Fantabulous location as we have upgraded our room to Mountain view , Room was spacious, clean with all required facilities in it. I feel there should be fan available during summer because outside temperature is not that cold during night to get sound sleep. Breakfast was ok as there was not much options in hot food. The dinner what we have was very good . Staff was very helpful and accommodating .

As there is no air-condition, optional fans should be available as during summers we did not get sound sleep as the temperature of outside will not fetch enough cold to get proper sleep.

The hotel is located on the first base. I got a bed in a dorm room, which was clean. Each person is provided with a locker, a bathrobe, a towel, a toothbrush, cool slippers, shampoo, etc. Moreover, there is a balcony with an amazing mountain view. The sauna, outdoor pool, and a great breakfast are included in the price. It's a great place for its price. The employees are super nice and helpful. Would definitely return!

Maybe one more towel in each person's locker, because it's needed for the pool/bathroom. The internet is sometimes unstable due to the mountainous location, so be aware if you're going to work.

Hot, clean, very chill and beautiful vibes overall. Takes seconds to get to your room. Even when booking an hostel room for much cheaper than others you can benefit from a thousand stuff such as tea&water, heater everywhere including your room, the amazing hot pool outside, sauna, locker keys and then the breakfast… all for free unlike the most other hotels&hostels. I hope it stays that way tho.😅 since it’s one of the biggest things what made it unique for me.

In hostel (dorm) rooms, entering from the balcony is appreciated because if you’re solo you either have to let the door open and let it get cool inside or you lock yourself until someone else will open it. A small risk of falling of from the upper side of the bed. fixing that would be appreciated.

Room was clean. Toiletries were provided. I booked the hostel room. U wouldn't expect a mountain resort to offer this but it was a comfortable room and offered good sized bed, comfy, with private lockers. Everything else was offered as per the hotel facilities including breakfast, the pool and sauna. All of which I availed and it was still worth it for the price u pay. Most ppl do a day trip to shymbulak but its really nice to enjoy the mountain once the day trippers have left including access to the pool and sauna which was a really nice touch at night. Also it allows for you to get out on the mountain before the crowds arrive. Breakfast was a really nice selection as well and the restaurant on-site has a good menu albeit a little pricey (which is expected considering the location!)

The bathroom could use some refurbishment/maintenance.

To reach the hotel you have to take the cable car from Medeu cable car station as only electric cars with license to go further up are allowed. It cost an additional 4000kzt to reach the hotel by an electric car. The same applies for going down. We had luggage and so we had to transfer from another taxi to the electric taxi. These things were not informed to us. We had a hard time figuring it out as the staff although responsive on whatsapp, speak very little to no English. Communication with hotel was not easy.

The location is perfect, right next to the information center. In case you get hurt, the emergency clinic is right next to the hotel. The size of the bed is large and confort. The room is with excellent view. Water, toiletries, towels, and robe are provided. A locker is allocated to each one. Facilities like sauna and swimming pool are perfect for vacation. Free breadfast in the morning is provided, and it saves time to source food.

The breadfast variety and taste.

We stayed during winter, so the heated pool and sauna were the perfect relaxation after spending the day snowboarding. The view outside our room was spectacular, we could view the slopes and the snowy mountains. Ski/snowboard school was jud a few meters away, you could literally wake up and hop on the boards right away ⛷️🏂 Breakfast was delicious, had a decent options to choose from. The room was comfortable and cozy as well.

The wifi connection was very weak In our room located on the 4th floor. There was a decent signal but keeps on disconnecting and takes 20-30mins to be able to get the connection back. Other than that, everything was fine.

Although our room lacks a balcony, it directly faces the awe-inspiring ski mountain from the fourth floor, especially on snowy days like the second day of our stay. The buffet breakfast remains the same every day but is decent enough. The sauna, which overlooks the snow-covered mountain, and the pool are definite highlights. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Additionally, you can take an electric taxi downhill for just 4000 tenge, slightly cheaper than the cable car for two people.

One of the ladies in the restaurant, whom I believe is a manager, had a very stern demeanor and did not attend to me when I tried to request utensils. However, the rest of the restaurant staff were incredibly kind and patient, despite the language barrier we faced. Although there's no lift in the building and carrying luggage up the stairs can be tiring, the staff are willing to assist if you request help.

Nice accommodation. Met our expectations. It was lovely that you have swimming pool and sauna access. Breakfast was plentiful and even for a vegetarian like me, there were lots of options. We had dinner there too and although small portions, was nice and tasty. All staff were pleasant and accommodating. Room was small but well planned. For 1 night it was fine for us. I'd have found it too small if I was staying for several days.

Nothing too much. It's a generic hotel so it lacks character. Room and balcony were small but it was all functional.
