Centrally located. Many tourist attractions are just a walk away. Neat and clean. Good rooms.

The staff seemed little indifferent. Not very hospitable. The breakfast was not good especially for vegetarians. The breakfast timing was 7-10 am but many dishes even the bread would finish before 9 am and the staff would only feel sorry about it. The options available were very basic, looks like they are very cost conscious in serving breakfast. We stayed in a 3 star hotel also the previous 3 days and breakfast served was so lavish, much better than this 4 star hotel.

Very cooperative front desk. They helped us with all the required information, arranged taxi whenever we asked for. Our departure was very early in the morning and they ensured that we get packed BF. We stayed for 4 nights and during our stay everyday room cleaning was done with change of towels etc. Through the window of our room we could see the snowcapped mountain. BF, in particular the coffee was reasonably good. However, the spread could be better. The hotel adjacent building has a super store where you get all the essentials. The Ascension Cathedral, Panfilov park and the green bazar are at walking distance. Overall, this is a very good hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast could be better and varied.

Very well-maintained property. No smoking property. Most of the Staff were very helpful and cheerful. The mini-bar was well stocked. There was a supermarket just besides the property so you can buy whatever you needed. Breakfast was amazing with variety of options. Small balcony for smoking. Very quite property.

Very low internet speed. Internet disconnected every few minutes. Not a great experience if you are working. In general most hotels in Almaty did not have bidets and this property was no exception. I stayed for 3 nights, they did not replace tea/coffee in the room or clean the coffee mugs. Breakfast restaurant was small and had to share a table with other guests. Mattress was a little firm.

Computers (free) available for guests. At least 2 English language news channels (CNN & BBC). Lovely neighborhood with grocery markets within a block. Reasonable distance to a walking street, many shops and restaurants. A lovely sun room in which to gather and have coffee, tea or alcohol. They have an ironing room! They had a gym.

The restaurant was subpar. While there was a wide selection both for breakfast and dinner, it appeared, for example, that the cheese from the day(s) before was served again the next day at breakfast. The fried eggs were good, however. They also had ice but would not give me a cup full in the morning. Dinner for 9 took over an hour for everyone to get their food served!!! And there were no other customers!. Also, my key wouldn't open the gym - you had to have staff come to open it. And staff, while not rude, were hardly friendly and helpful.

Rooms are very specious and comfortable, with couple of chairs and work table. Rooms have air-conditioning and staff was helpful enough to bring in the heaters. Also we were very happy with the help from the staff to collect delayed luggage in the airport at night, this was very kind and saved us lots of time. Hotel has a nice location, walking distance to many places, like Arbat, money changers, restaurant, and shopping center. Location is in between the buildings, which makes it very silent and outside tariffic noise is not distracting. We enjoyed our stay.

The hotel and the room were very clean and comfortable, just a bit "old fashioned" in terms of decor. Staff were pleasant enough and location pretty central.

The breakfast buffet seemed decent overall, but there really wasn't much for vegans, unfortunately. I didn't make any special request in advance, so can't say whether that would have helped or not. The city (and probably the whole country) in general is not great for vegans, but you won't starve, either.

This is a relatively small hotel, very cozy with a friendly and relaxed ambience. The room, location and breakfast were perfect and beyond any expectation. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You will be in safe hands. The airline did not deliver my luggage and I was almost 24 hours without personal belongings. Alma and other boys from reception did everything to smooth this unpleasant situation and helped to get my luggage as soon as possible. Thanks to them! I’ll stay there again when I visit Almaty.

A very warm-hearted place to stay. The room was clean and big. All the equipments were well organized. Staffs are the best! They helped me a lot and all of the people I met were very kind! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

Although it os located in a nice quite yard, the hotel is a little bit far from the nearest metro station - about 10-15 minutes walk. But for me, I still enjoyed taking some walk in the beautiful city.

A very friendly and helpful hotel. The bed was comfortable, the decor charming and it was well equipped. A nice quiet situation.. Breakfast was very good. We also ate there one evening and the meal was fine. Convenient for the metro and a reasonable walk from the railway station.

Nothing major. At certain times the water wasn't hot, presumably when there had been a lot of demand.

It's cozy, definitely. Fresh plants at the edge of the hallway by the window. There's a cushion top on the entire mattress that made it supportively firm with this comfy softness at the same time. The trees outside are lovely. The staff are all respectful and warmhearted. Water pressure is great, however the temperature often fluctuates at will. Not too bad, honestly, just a minor inconvenience when I'm trying to get cold but it's still hot/warm. I would love this during winter. On the 6th floor where I was, there's an old menu so I had to ask the restaurant worker which items were available. But once the food arrived [only 20 minutes] it was truly delicious. The gym was excellent. The treadmill uses a voltage transformer and both it and the transformer were unplugged, I'm assuming to be environmentally friendly which I respect. Only some employees spoke English, but thankfully that just motivates me to study harder so I can communicate next time I visit this part of the world.

A few minor inconveniences, but overall nothing major in my opinion.
