Grand Mildom, is located in City centre which was the best place of the city and Dostyk Plaza Mall was exactly opposite the hotel with Bus stations too. We enjoyed staying in the city with livelihood. Room size was ok not to big not small, but could have been much better against the value we paid for booking. Room was clean. We would rate 3.5/5. Secondly, Breakfast options were very less for veg and chicken and was arranged in very small restaurant with hardly 15-20persons sitting tables. We expected atleast good varieties & quality of breakfast with bigger size of restaurant to begin our day with. We would rate 2.5/5. Overall our stay was good, staff is good and helpful. View from our room was mesmerising. Almaty is amazing and Fabulous to visit.

My room was a relatively a good size nice, clean and light. It had everything for my comfortable stay. Everyone was very helpful including reception, cleaners, breakfast and restaurant staff, quick internet and ironing facility. I stayed on the 7th floor and it had a beautiful view over the city. I liked everything, especially location, very close to the shopping mall Dostyk Plaza that it was just opposite the hotel. People were very friendly and helpful. Many of them speak English. I will highly recommend Grand Mildom Hotel to my business partners and any visitors of Almaty!

Please be careful when booking taxi via Yandex Go even selecting Grand Mildom Hotel the taxi drivers arrive on other side of the road. Ask receptionist to allocate your pick up place they will help. Probably Yandex doesn’t have a good map or do not update. So need to be careful. Breakfast place is very small although hotel is very big. But food was good but not much of fresh salads.

We had a lovely stay! Elena at the reception was friendly and welcoming. Also, a young man at the front desk was incredibly helpful when we arrived late at night — he recommended a delicious pizza place, helped us place the order, and even shared his personal Kazakh number so we could contact the restaurant. We were honestly touched by his kindness and really appreciated his help. The location is perfect — close to Dostyk Mall and just a short walk to the Kok Tobe cable car.

The cleaning could have been done with more care. During our 4-night stay, the bed sheets and pillow covers were not changed at all. Breakfast is not worth it; the room is too small with only about 6 tables.

I loved the stay at the hotel, so beautiful and relaxing. I booked 2 suites. The rooms are perfect and well cleaned. The staff at the reception, Alina, Ajar, Arsan, and Adel all the of them are  very helpful friendly and respectful. The hotel felt like family. I will definitely come back to Grand Mildom and I will always book at your hotel when I come to Kazakhastan, everything was perfect and beautiful thanks to this amazing management.hotelnis close to mall and in a fun area close to everything restaurants etc...

I loved everything

The hotel is located across Dostyk Plaza so its very convenience. The staff are very friendly. Alina in particular. She's amazing and very helpful. The swimming pool, hammam and sauna are amazing and beyond my expectation. I wish I could have used those facilities more. Bed is very comfy and some of the rooms have very good view.

During our last stay, we were given a room with a mountain view. But the room was small especially for us that have a 4 years old. I asked to be transferred to another room. They did and I really appreciated that. But it would have been better if I was informed that the room will have more noises (from the road and the restaurant below that have some singers during the weekend). The room was on lower level (3rd floor). I might decide to stay in the smaller room since I cannot sleep well with noises.

I always stay at the Grand Mildom while in Almaty the location is absolutely perfect for middle of mountain access, shopping and night life, and even quick access to golden square, I highly recommend this hotel it is always a pleasurable stay, pool and sauna nice too, and nice breakfast selection at dent price, and a 24-7 restaurant

They always ask for more money after check out, the manager will message me rudely demanding payment i didn't pay, when I went to desk and clearly checked out with hotel staff, the message will come 2-3 days after I have left hotel. I have not once paid after I prove i did my part....

The room was big, clean. With huge comfortable bed! Hotel located right by the Dostyk Plaza mall, and two blocks from metro station and one block from Republic Square.

Room service needs to be improved, breakfast had poor choices, and the hotel is overpriced. One night they forgot to provide two sets of towels, and after asked frontdesk it took them 30 minutes and during that time receptionist didnt answer the phone. Really thought that high rating on booking worth the money, but i realised how they got 9 points. Staff is asking to rate 10 for the stay on booking.com , don't think it is appropriate to demand that instead of improving the service.

Spacious and clean room with a big comfortable bed. Great location, next to a huge shopping mall. Tasty and varied breakfast. The spa area was a nice bonus — both the sauna and the Turkish steam room worked very well. Staff were helpful and quickly offered me a different room when I had an issue.

The air conditioning on the 9th floor didn’t work properly during hot weather. The gym is very basic and not really usable.

Location excellent for city walking, large deluxe room, nice view.

Breakfast hall is too small with only 6 tables. You are asked to sit outside, basically without service, not convenient. Breakfast management not friendly. When checking out the reception wanted to charge us for Pistachios from the minibar which never was there. Did not make us feel comfortable.

The receptionist speaks english well and friendly. The whole hotel not only the rooms are well maintained and cleaned. The bathroom is big enough and really clean. Great variety of food for breakfast. Right across the hotel is dosyk mall where you can choose different variety of restaurants.

The hotel room is a little bit small but overall its good. We stayed 3 nights and 4 days and we requested housekeeping but im pretty sure they did not change our bedsheets and blanket. Jacuzzi isn't working but sauna and steam bath works well. Maybe next time to separate men and women for swimming pool.
