All was great! One thing to improve: One night there was a noise somewhere nearby my room - I thought above. I called to reception to complain. It was around 22:30h. I expected that they will go and silently check in the corridor where the noise could come from and I was surprised to hear they CALLED the room above me. I was really shocked that someone’s stay can be disturbed in such a way, as per receptionist people were sleeping already. Please don’t do it again - there are better ways to find a source of the noise.

Great location, good breakfast. The rooms are quiet, clean and cozy, with modern design, the furniture is new and the room is provided with everything you need. They also gave a welcome compliment - apples, nuts and water - it was nice. I liked the idea of glass bottles instead of plastic ones - they try to stay green.

- On the first day of my stay the restaurant was full of dirty dishes so I couldn’t find a clean table to have my breakfast. - Sometimes the cleaning at the room was not perfect. - The water massage pipes at the swimming pool didn’t work and the reception lady couldn’t answer why. - One day I didn’t feel well and I asked for a thermometer at the reception. They told me they were not sure they had one and never called me back.

My family really enjoyed our stay. The service was wonderful, the breakfast was plentiful and the location was central. The lobby had a nice seating area with delicious warming drinks. We were able to pay for a rollaway bed that was very helpful for us. The staff were very accommodating. We highly recommend.

The reception was manned by very efficient and friendly personnel. The room was cheery, airy, spacious and superbly designed, as was the bath area. Ditto for the common areas. Breakfast was good and there is adequate options in the food menu for vegetarians. The location is perfect! We liked the fact that there is a Water Refill Station in the corridor and a glass mug in the room, which eliminates the use of plastic bottles. We made a change to our booking and the management accepted to make adjustments to the amount already paid. We appreciate that.

Many of the staff are inexperienced, but hardworking nevertheless. They could do with some better supervision. Coffee at breakfast was not upto the mark and each day we paid 1650 in local currency for ordering coffee from the bar area. For a hotel that charges as much as Novotel does, that is simply unacceptable.

Nice location, right next to Kok Tobe. You also get a 30% discount to visit Kok Tobe, just ask for voichers at the reception. Very clean.

The AC was not working properly as we tried to turn the temperature down and didn't see the fifference. The staff at the bar and restaurant at the lobby is very slow, don't pay much attention to you doing their own things. At the restaurant the guy got my order wrong and brought me something I didn't order. Think the management should work with the staff there. The good thing there is plenty of places to eat around so you don't have to eat at the hotel.

CENTRALLY LOCATED, FABULOUS BREAKFAST, A STAR BUCKS NEXT DOOR AND A VAST ARRAY OF RESTAURANTS NEARBY. DONT MISS THE DONER KEBABS ROUND THE BEND AT THE SIGNAL- OUTSTANDING.

Everything was good except wi-fi connection's capacity

Not sufficient wi-fi capacity in the room and internet connection isn't functioning properly after 18:00. On my request for the improvement the answer was - there is traffic capacity enough. Funny.

We were in Almaty to celebrate our 15th anniversary and the hotel staff made it special by getting us a cake and a bottle of sparkling wine. The hotel is well equipped and we had a gorgeous view from our room. It is also located in one of the most happening streets as we could literally walk to all places we wanted to eat or party at.

Good selection of buffet breakfast. Great location - close to everything. Very clean and modern rooms with multiple water dispensers across the floor. also has an indoor pool and gym. 10/10 will recommend!

Front desk service can be improved. There was a bit of confusion at check in. Cannot control room's temperature.
