It’s quite good location for the hotel, right in the center. The room was fine, perfectly clean and everything seems to be new. Breakfast had many varieties of steamed vegetables and every morning different options were available. The staff was friendly, the most professional and polite was Denis, he was always very attentive and did great job!!! I appreciate it.

The size of the room was disappointing, it was too small, no space for luggage. The hairdryer was quite old and no so good quality, same as shampoos and conditioner. It’s better to bring your own. It’s not mentioned anywhere that baby under 6y. can’t use swimming pool, so we couldn’t use it, unfortunately. This place is basically for the meetings and seminars, always full and staff too much busy, that’s why there is no time for details from staff side.

The size of the room was excellent, and the location of the hotel was in the center of Almaty. We tried the Spa.. it was great and very professional and most enjoyable. The Spa facilities were great and very clean. The Breakfast was superb.... Also, Transportation (Taxi's ) are super cheap as long as you use their own application (YANDEXGO) similar to UBER. All shopping malls are within minutes taxi trips. Brand shopping malls are available and also very affordable malls are available.

Not much.. My only concern was that Kazakhstan being a majority Muslim country did not have labels on food that may contain Ham/Pork. and another thing and this general in Kazakhstan that English language is not very common even at tourist attractions areas and restaurants. Always use YANDEXGO taxi, its very convenient and super cheap, otherwise you could pay 10x times more for taxi. Taxi's even at airport will always say that they use Tariff.. but its not true, so get a SIM card at the airport and install YANDEXGO and order taxi to any locations, its very cheap.

Location, price vs quality. Good breakfast. Bali spa had good facilities and their staff was very kind. Beauty saloon provided a good service.

The room was noisy. Furniture and carpets were old and worn down. The hotel carpets and some of the furniture needs refreshing. There was soot on the ceiling around the vents. The spa had an unfriendly policy for little kids - no children under 6 were allowed in the pool and sauna. This was not mentioned in the house rules.

Location, decor, spa and authentic Indonesian massage and staff, bed was comfortable, bedding was super warm and comfy breakfast was excellent. Including providing me with a basic breakfast box for a 5.30am tour. Quiet room with proper curtain shades. The hotel decor was what I thought was cool. The design of the spa facilities exceptional, the staff across the board were friendly and very helpful. Completely recommend especially as the general access to the spa is part of the room, but the hot oil massage was excellent and I’ve been to Indonesia and had massage around the world this was high end skill from the therapist!

The shower was only temperate and didn’t get warm hardly at all even after waiting. Aircon worked very well - had to turn it off as couldn’t find a happy medium( this is personal preference though)

My favourite hotel in Almaty and I don't understand the low ratings. Perfectly located in the city center, pleasant staff with a wonderful spa center that's worth returning to

The hotel rooms are quite oldschool and apparently the single rooms are very tiny, doubles are okay though and there's an issue with the mini-fridge disconnecting from electricity every time the guests leave the room so it's not perfect for food storage. Depending on room placement, the internet connection might not be perfect. The breakfast offer is quite limited and doesn't vary too much, but it's all okay considering price/ performance ratio, compared to other hotels in the neighbourhood.

Denis, the manager, did everything to make our stay at the hotel and in Almaty fantastic and unforgettable. He went above and beyond to give us advice and directions. The hotel is very charming, clean and beautiful. Overall the staff was helpful and friendly. The location couldn't be better. I highly recommend this hotel. Massage was also recommendable! Nice friendly staff !

The hot water was absent for almost 24 hours. For that reason we couldn't really use the facilities such as the indoor swimming pool after the massage.

I usually like staying in this hotel while I am in Almaty for business. It's a beautify and classy place with a nice pool, "cigar club" and spa. Breakfast is good and the location is convenient.

There is always a problem getting me the official documents ready that I need for work. Twice now, they have had to mail the "AVR" to me in Astana because, "the accountant is not here." This is an annoying inconvenience. Also, during my last stay, the sauna was not hot enough.

I always stay at this location in Almaty for a couple of reasons. Location is absolutely great - right in the middle of the city Spa facilities are really good with a pool sauna and small gym - The hotel will let you use it after you check out if you request a late check out and need a place to relax for a bit which is really good of them. Rooms are decent and clean with good size

Breakfast is truly awful but forgiven with the above benefits. Definitely here are some great options for Breakfast within 100m walking of the hotel anyway so not an issue

I loved my room. Even though it was on a main street it was quiet. The hotel kept a bag for me from my earlier stay which made my traveling so much easier. All of the staff were very helpful - carrying my suitcase, giving information, etc.

Sometimes the cleaning ladies were too efficient. It's not really necessary to throw out the little slippers or the little toothpaste tubes if they have only been used one day or if there is still toothpaste left. Maybe they have been instructed to do so, though.

Location is excellent. Breakfast is excellent. Hotel is 'classic style' but very well maintained. The spa in the basement is a real bonus but the sauna and steam could have been hotter.

The key cards deactivate (somehow) once you leave the property. I have never heard of this before .This requires getting the card revalidated every time you come back. This seems dumb.
