We spent around 8 nights over Christmas/New Year. The staff were amazing & really went out of their way to look after us. Good variety of options at the buffet breakfast. Large rooms with lovely African decor. Very comfortable beds. Rooms had both fans and A/C. Great location in North coast. Short walk to the beach. Shopping centres & some restaurants are close by. Good value for money.

Bathrooms were run-down & needed more regular maintainance eg broken taps, leaking sinks. Kahama is close to a nightclub which played loud music till the small hours at the weekend.

The staff were amazing. The african art in the hotel is great. The bed one of the most comfortable that I have seen in Kenya. The room is spacious, hot water, nice water pressure. Nice breakfast. Large pool with nice relaxing areas.

There are a few small things that would make this hotel even better: a washing line for clothes to dry in tje bathroom, a nice coffee/espresso machine in the restaurant for a real good cappuccino (although the coffee is already much better than in most places at Bamburi beach!) fresh juices at breakfast.

The Staff were very co-operative, welcoming and did whatever they could to meet your requests and make you feel happy. The hotel is close to the beach and public transport. AC, the fan and safe were all in good working condition.

1) The pathway to the beach looks like a zigzag maze with a lot of people, most of them who seemed like idlers and others peddling their wares and services to beach goers. The pathway looks insecure if you're solo or you're few when walking to the beach. 2) The BATH TOWELS were a disgrace. They're stained from their original white color to brownish color. They have seen many days of service if not years. Here replacement is a MUST. 3)Good hygiene observation is needed. Their open dinning facility is frequented by flies especially the rear side which can contaminate the food. 4) Availability of a hot water kettle and an iron-box would go along way in upgrading the facility.

I had a great first day at the hotel, thanks to Joyce, who was very professional and welcoming. Rita and Purifan at the reception were also helpful throughout my stay. A special mention to Chef Muturi—his soup was not only delicious but helped in my recovery. Benson and Mibebe were always around to offer support and were genuinely helpful. Overall, the staff were friendly and made me feel at home. The facility was clean and well-kept.

My only comment would be that the pool could have looked a bit cleaner and more inviting.

From start to finish it's a wonderful place too stay. Every staff member are superb and so friendly.....doesn't matter where in the world 🌎 you stay....its the staff that make a hotel experience. Rooms , pool area, breakfast (awesome buffet ) are all top notch 👏 👏 👏 😊. Its only a few minutes walk too the beach ⛱️ so location great. Defo you won't be disappointed with kahama. I Love the staff, that's the reason for my return ,each staff member goes the further mile to make your trip unforgettable ,making me feel special at all times, nothing is too much trouble for them and they make you feel happy by greeting everyone with their big smiles, but most importantly they are concerned, and that makes a huge difference..

There's not much to say about dislikes but I think the food in the restaurant could be better

Nice small hotel. Good AC. Very good bed. Good Wi-Fi. Nice swimming pool. Well maintained. Safe in the room, Smart TV with possibility to connect to Laptop. Breakfast was quite good and some dishes was changed every day. Very good quality for the price that I paid.

Hot water was a little unpredictable. My room did not have the water-boiler as advertised.

I absolutely love Kahama. The staff are wonderful. The facilites great. Shamalla, the pool attendant, was exceptional. We were all learning to swim. It was such a shame he was only there for half of the week. The other staff in the restaurant, bar and reception couldn't do enough for us.

A lovely small hotel with lots of charm! The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the start. I especially loved the large pool – perfect for relaxing. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the beach. Everything was clean and well-maintained. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back! 😊
