This is a no-nonsense hotel that provided everything we needed and did so efficiently. Clean, comfortable, friendly and helpful staff...even loaned us an iron free of charge. Top it all off with a free breakfast, and it was some of the best value accommodations we found in Japan. The location is pretty good-being right next to Kanayama station means that almost any destination in Nagoya is a quick subway ride away and there is plenty of shopping and convenience stores nearby. We didn't really eat at any of the nearby restaurants, so can't say much about them.

Squeezing three beds into the room didn't leave much space for walking around, but that's been our experience at pretty much every Japanese hotel. I appreciate that they were able to provide the three beds!

Excellent location. Right across the road is the entrance to the metro station. Opposite to the hotel, there are many restaurants including a kebab outlet. Public covered car parking just a minute away. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed; Spotlessly clean; Wonderful view from the room. Similarly, good view of the surroundings from the Library cafe. In the cafe, other than breakfast hours, we can relax and work; also permitted to bring food, heat it up in the microwave and eat it. Many tyoes of Coffee, tea and Infused water is available free of cost througout the day.

Room could be provided with blackout curtains. Everday, same fare in the breakfast buffet.

This hotel is located right across the street from Kanayama station which makes it very easy for travel via several train lines. The room was very comfortable, clean, well appointed. Loved being able to do laundry on property and being able to keep track of the machine’s availability via the TV. The breakfast each day was wonderful and full of a variety of foods with great hours. Loved being able to use the library to visit with our friends as well as having drinks available during the day. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well.

We landed in a typhoon and all our plans changed. What was meant to be an overnight stop was extended. The staff accommodated us amazingly. We were able to drop our bags, sort early check in and got so much assistance. The hotel is so new and lovely. There is a family mart right downstairs and it is directly across the road from Kanayama station and the Nagoya tourist info shop. Best position for Nagoya as all the lines are available out of Kanayama.

Nothing, it is seriously the best hotel for a family. Some bigger rooms with more beds might be good but we booked adjoining rooms.

Breakfast spread was good but do go earlier so you enjoy full breakfast as it will run out at later timings. Location is great. Near restaurants and just opposite the station. Straight train line to airport too. Room is small but book the bigger rooms for family and it will be good. Staffs speak limited English but is kind to help.

The washing machines and dryer is limited and good for only light wash but not heavy wash.

Room feels comfy & spacious, staff is very friendly and try to help for every problem we may encounter. Even though they can't help you if you have shipment to do with Japan Post.

The laundromat availability is pretty limited and make a very long que for us to use the laundromat. Even though you can check the status from the Tv on your room, but you still need to be there when one of the laundromats available and wait for the person who use it to come or ask the staff to take it out.

If you’re in Nagoya/Kanayama, that’s the best place stay for a low budget. Staff is super friendly, location is perfect (right next to Kanayama station), rooms Japanese standard and clean, complimentary breakfast is ok.

The pillows are too flat (unfortunately that’s also Japanese standard) and depends what side of the building your room is located, it could be a bit noisy.

The breakfast is great; you get a variety of choices from rice and meatballs to milk with cereal. Water pressure was great. After breakfast hours, you can work at the cafeteria and enjoy unlimited coffee and tea. I appreciated the YouTube and Netflix options on the TV, which meant I could enjoy videos on a big screen without having to find an HDMI cord. Kanayama is a pretty convenient station but definitely not as big as Nagoya. The staff are very nice and you can self-checkin at a kiosk if you don’t speak Japanese.

It’s a little weird that they don’t provide bottled water in the room - but you can get water 24/7 (or from 6h30-24h?) at the cafeteria. Not the most spacious place (I barely found a place for my 28in suitcase) but decent for its price. Also, they only provide one, pretty hard and shallow pillow, which I liked but may be an issue for some.

It is comfortable and relaxed. Close to the Kanayama station and close to restaurants. Great ergonomical pillows. Good breakfast logistics system. There is a FamilyMart on the ground floor. Loved it.

The breakfast. There were no regular plates. Not suitable for western customers. I was lucky to not hear the trains from my room. But I understand that it can bother you if you get a room closer to the train tracks.

Great location. Just a few steps to the main train station, close to Aeon, community mall with lots of restaurants and shops, car rental place. Breakfast, while nothing extraordinary, is good value too. Like the fact that there’s a cafe library that opens til 24.00 for guests to relax. Also, there’re lots of stuffs you can ask to borrow to make your stay more comfortable. Will definitely consider staying here again if visit.

Maybe change breakfast menu a couple of times a week.
