This place understood exactly what people expect of hostels. The staff is genuinely friendly and interested by the guests, everything is always clean (I saw cleaning up multiple times a day), the rooms are spacious, there are enough bathrooms for everyone, etc. As if this was not enough, they provide laundry service, sell of lot of useful stuff (SIM cards for instance), have an integrated stolovaya (like a canteen) opened all the time, offer excursions, etc. And finally, as a nice addition for me, who works remotely: a coworking area with desks is available free of charge.

You may at times feel like you are not anymore in Kirghizstan: almost everyone seems to speak English, and I met quite few locals… apart from the staff. And maybe this place is so well integrated that you will never actually want to go out and visit the city!

Guests are mostly locals living at the hostel and didn't care about common spaces, making videocalls in the shared bedroom at 2am without earphones. The management needs to set silence hours clear.

I had an excellent stay at Apple Hostel Bishkek in Bishkek. The hostel is very clean, comfortable, and has a unique, charming design. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to assist with any questions or travel advice. The location is very convenient, close to restaurants, shops, and major attractions, yet quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The beds were comfortable, the facilities were well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. It felt very safe and homely throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend Apple Hostel Bishkek to anyone visiting Bishkek and would happily stay here again!

Nothing everything was excellent

This hostel is nice, rooms very clean but the floors and kitchen was not in the best shape. Location is close to Osh bazaar, around 15 minutes walking. You can get easily to the city center by bus. Receptionist were sometimes bit confused and didn’t advise the correct bus direction. Otherwise they were nice and helpful. Plus is also a swimming pool in the next building which was full of small children that time. I liked the idea of some program for each evening in the hostel which is for free and you can join it.

It's really nice hostel, good located, just some minutes to the Western Bus Station. One of the biggest pluses, is the English speaking team there, which for Kyrgyz standards is unusual. Also it's working 24h so you can check in after morning flight from Europe The rooms were OK, clean and comfy and had aircodition, so for Bishkek standards is also a big plus Last the breakfast is served in the nearby cafe, freshly made, after choosing the option we want

Not so many toilets and showers in the hostel, which makes it hard in rush hours (morning and evening)

Apple Hostel was gave me exactly what I want in a hotel -- a quiet room with very comfortable mattress (to say the least, not every hostel out there is capable of this!). I stayed in a twin bed room in the 2nd building, which maybe is a different experience than being in the dorm. A night's stay at this hostel also includes a free breakfast, and in my building there was a spacious kitchen/dining room area with TV. They make you wear slippers inside the building which contributes to the feeling of cleanliness, the shower/bathroom is fairly spacious, and the staff were helpful.

I wasn't given the access code to the gate of the second building at first, and had some problems opening the door, but later a different staff member gave me the code which made my life easier The hotel is not near the city center, so you will need to take a bus/taxi/have a long walk to get there.

the location is actually only convenient for the bus station - for anywhere else around town, it’s actually a bit out of the way. also, dorms are quite big and open without any curtains etc for privacy

The best thing about this hostel was how passionate the manager was at sharing her culture and personal story. I learned so much about this beautiful country through her, and I look forward coming back her many times over the coming years :-) I also really like how you can get everything you need to travel around Kyrgyzstan at or nearby the hostel. They can organise tours and help you get essential equipment for bikepacking, hiking and general travel. There's a good supermarket just a few minutes walk away with ATMs inside. And... The 24 hour restaurant next to the hostel is fantastic! Some of the private rooms are excellent. Room 2 in the main hostel is quite luxurious, and if you manage to get private access to the upstairs dorm room in the Nirvana house, you'll get a giant verandah with a view to the pool. Good times :-)

Yo, what's with the 'storage room' for guests leaving their baggage while out of town? After just five days my backpack was crushed underneath three layers of giant hiking packs and suitcases :-P

A very good location for those, who arrive to Bishkek or leave Bishkek through the Western Bus Station, used for journeis to Almaty for example. There is a 24/7 supermarket, accepting card payements, nearby with a lot of ATMs in the lobby of it, some of them not charging withdrawals. There is a canteen used also for breakfasts in the hostel object. We staied in the luxury double room with toillet and shower. Basicly everything was functioning and the reception ran non-stop. The object is behind the walls. It is possible to manage a taxi or trips at the hostel reception as well as to buy some basic products like drinks or turist magnets.

We had staied in 3 different rooms during 3 different terms. We always had towel and coat hanger probles, but the staff everytime tried to solve it. The location does not offer any restaurant or caffé, it is neccessary to go a quite long distance towards the city center. We slept in the luxury double room on the ground floor and there is a gate behind it. The door is made of metal and when somebody uses this gate, than it always closes with a loud hit noise.

Excellent staff, very welcoming and helpful. All the people from reception speak a fairly good or good english. An appropriate place to meet other backpackers or cyclists. The hostel is situated near the New West Bus Station (the entrance of the hostel is on the opposite side) and about 1 km north from "Osh Bazar". There is a pretty big supermarket 200 m south, on a main street and a bakery with fresh, tasty bread near it. The food at the hostel's cantine is really, really good. There is more variety in the afternoon and evening. There is a nice, open air gym in the yard. They organaise non-expensive tours in the mountains near Bishkek or to other important turistic destinations. Other interesting or useful places I visited in Bishkek: Mahatma Gandhi Statue - 1 km east on the main street, on the park's corner; "State History Museum" and "Gapar Aitiev National Museum of Fine Arts" at about 4 km east; "Cranks Garage" - bicycle repair workshop at about 9 km south. City maps available for free and bicycles for rental. There is a bicycle lane available in the city on the "Mir Ave" Street which leads south and out of the city towards Ala Archa Valley.
