Decent quiet little hotel tucked away on a side street but within easy walking distance of the City Centre. We had a large room with a good sized bathroom on the top floor. The whole hotel is very clean, although housekeeping in the room could be improved upon, especially for a weeks stay. Reception Staff are helpful and there's a decent breakfast buffet. There's no evening meal option but they allow you to use takeaway delivery services which some hotels don't, so that's a plus. There's a small area to the front of the hotel where we were able to park our hire car - very handy.

There were one or two minor issues during our stay. The WiFi was poor to begin with but seemed to improve as the week went on. The shower in our room was not exactly invigorating, and some accessible sockets next to the bed would be handy. Room for improvement but overall not too bad considering the price.

The suite was large and comfortable, the air conditioner worked well even in 40+ degree heat, the reception staff were very helpful with all issues, including booking taxis, the breakfast was good and varied, but tea often happened to be the only drink and when the dishes ran out, there was no rush to get new ones. In general, a normal hotel.

There was a refrigerator in the room, but it did not work normally, it never got cold - it should definitely be replaced. Also, one of the lamps did not work, the bulb needs to be replaced. Shower water pressure was low during morning rush hour. The room was only cleaned when the sign was posted on the door. Some of the hotel staff did not know English, so Russian might be needed.

- noisy inside from other guests and sometimes A LOT. :/ I recommend to sleep with ear plugs. - once I wanted to take a bath - but although I turned warm water to maximum, still it was not so warm = not possible to take a bath. :/

Clean compact room. (Standard Twin) Good value for money. Good breakfast buffet.

The hotel didn't have the room I had booked - the Junior Comfort Suite with 2 single beds - so I had to downgrade to a Standard Twin. Much smaller room but a lower price. There must be some discrepancy between the hotel systems and Booking.com?

Very central location, very spacious clean and warm room. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Staff was polite.

The street in front of the hotel is under construction (maybe forever) and when raining/snowing it was quite challenging to not get your shoes dirty.

The rate was great and unbelievable breakfast buffet. Excellent menu then the staff especially Mr Baybol was so understanding and helpful.

Daily water replenishment and room cleaning need to be reminded before they do. At the same time cannot use the AC due to its time restriction. No remote control provided in the room

The location is the best as it is in the center. Gulnura at the reception is very helpful. She assisted from the arrival until departure. The lady from the morning duty also. The room is good for the short trip. They are providing the amenities. Restaurant and shops walking distance from hotel.

The manager was unkind when we ordered a taxi to Ala Archa national park. She said one price, but when we returned she demand more money. Next day when we asked for the taxi to airport she said a higher price than it is.

The breakfast was awesome! The location was awesome as well. The staff members of the hotel were very very friendly, with a smile on their faces and always willing to help and assist!!! I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It is very clean, very organized and very safe too.

Very pleasant stay at Shah Palace hotel. Hotel is perfectly located on a very quiet street but very close to the city center and main avenue. Very nice receptionists that speak English and are very helpful. No issue with ordering taxi to the airport.

TV was not working in the room
