Very cozy hotel, everything is thoughtfully arranged — from quality slippers and good toothbrushes to a tasty breakfast and great coffee. The only thing missing was a full-length mirror and a chair in the room.

When traveling, I mostly enjoy staying at rather small, boutique format hotels like Bugu in Bishkek. The venue has a fantastic charisma. And you feel it the moment you walk into a light wood & white hall. The authentic environment of its hall decorated with photographs of eminent people of Kyrgyzstan, chairs and carpers designed to blend national and fusion styles, lovely rooms with brick walls and a grey design — all make Bugu a very special place. Cherry on top is a warm breakfast. Though not too rich on options, those omelets tasted like a home made breakfast cooked by your momma. Overall, room was very clean. WiFi worked perfectly fine. Kudos to a humble team of Bugu who made my stay in Bishkek great. Special thanks to the guy on the counter: Such a friendly person!

We are returning guests as we love this stylish boutique hotel! 1. The staff, in particular ZAK at reception, was very polite, friendly, attentive, respectful & helpful. He prepared all the necessary invoices, gave tea as a compliment & shared the city-related information we needed. 2. Having the 3d BookingLevel, we were kindly upgraded & got lucky to have such a superb room! 3. The ethnic conception & the renovated interior impressed us even more than the previous visit; 4. Breakfast was very delicious & very nicely served. We loved it. 5. The location is superb! Thanks the kitchen employees & cleaning ladies for making our staying comfy & tasty. "BUGU HOTEL" is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as an awesome accommodation in Bishkek City!!!!

I loved my stay at Bugu Hotel and felt some luxury. Its very stylish and tastefully decorated, very clean and my room was very nice with a big comfy bed, great bathroom and a fridge, slippers to wear which was a nice little touch. Its situated in walking distance to everything, perhaps 15 mins to the main square and close to some great restaurants and shops. The staff are amazing and so helpful and the wonderful man on the front desk really helped me out as i didn't have any local currency right away and let me pay after i had been in town and found an exchange. The breakfast was great with all the options including some delicious warm savoury pastries and the nice lady will cook you a great omelette if you ask. The price is great for everything you get.

We stayed at Bugu Hotel after our (early) arrival in Bishkek and booked it again for the night before our departure based on the good experience. Rooms are modern and tidy with good beds and showers, breakfast is good (although not outstanding) with fresh omelette etc. The receptionists are not always responsive on WhatsApp, but you can leave your luggage at the hotel if you arrive before the check-in time (which is very likely given the typically early flight arrivals) in case early check-in isn‘t available. Make sure to ask for a quiet room - we had a great experience with room 13 after our arrival (far from the reception/breakfast area and not facing the street), but room 17 (facing the street) was also comfortable and quiet. Overall a very good option in Bishkek if you want to have more comfort than in a typical guest house or hostel.

We had a fantastic stay at Bugu Hotel. The room was modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean—perfect for our family. The hotel is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood, which made exploring the area a real pleasure. What really stood out to us, though, was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. From the cheerful breakfast lady who greeted us each morning with a smile and went out of her way to accommodate my 3-year-old son's preferences, to the kind owner who even let us sample fresh cherries from her garden, everyone made us feel right at home. The reception team was also great—very helpful and always ready to assist, even though not all of them spoke English. They used translation apps to communicate, which worked just fine. Special thanks to Zak at reception, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable during a particularly stressful time. Due to the unexpected Israel/Iran situation, we ended up being stranded for three extra days. The hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to contact local airline offices from their landline. All in all, Bugu Hotel was a great stay for us, and we’re grateful for the kindness and hospitality we received. Highly recommended!

It is boutique hotel with a decor which is nice and different. The staff is very nice - young people working on the front desk. Elias in particular was very helpful, courteous and engaging. The hotel is not smack in the center of Bishkek - but the opera house and the market is walkable (and for rest you can just use a taxi app). The breakfast is quite good. The toiletries are of good quality and so is the bedding/towels. Shower hot is hot and good force. One of the guests ended up smoking (the hotel is non-smoking) and the hotel staff handled him admirably! I would recommend that the staff tell guests explicitly when they check-in (they do have non-smoking signs in the room).

Amazing people, they allowed us to do early check.in, Speak english very well, also they are accommodating, Breakfast is amazing. we were always full early in the day to start our journey. The place is classic and superb, I highly recommend this hotel, near to bazaar and walking distance to city attractions. I'll be coming to the same hotel f given a chance to visit Bishkek again.

The location was great—central and easy to get around. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout my stay.For the price, it was excellent value and exceeded my expectations.

The lighting in the bathroom wasn’t ideal—it made it difficult to do makeup. There was also no full-length mirror, which made it hard to check outfits. The breakfast could have had more variety; the options were quite limited.
