The room was kept clean by staff and the breakfast was fine but when we arrived at 6.30am every morning the staff were still getting everything ready and we had to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes most mornings. When ordering an omelet most mornings there was never any fillings, just a plain egg omelet. The lady on the door in restaurant was always very helpful and polite. We never visited the pool deck so cannot comment.

The hotel advises there is onsite parking, which is located down the street about 400 metres and they lock the gate at night for security which is a good thing. The first 2 mornings when we went to get the car the gate was unlocked, then after that the gate was locked as the owner had concerns for some scaffold he had stored there. So had to go back to hotel to get gate unlocked, everyday when we came back hours later the gate was still locked so I had to find parking away from the hotel which was totally inconvenient, then at night I had to get it unlocked to park the car. This occurred for 5 days out of 7 days.

The room is very big, and clean, its good for our trip Receptionist is very kind and help a lot

The smell of cigarette smoke is overwhelming—I can’t stand it. The internet is extremely slow. In the morning at the restaurant, I’m not sure what happened at first, but I saw a guest apologizing, and then a staff member started scolding her harshly in Lao. Unfortunately, I understood everything what she said—it was incredibly rude. I ordered a pork steak, and they served it medium. I told them it’s undercooked, but the staff asked me, “Didn’t you choose the doneness when you ordered?” I was shocked! Pork should never be eaten undercooked—do they want me to risk getting a Streptococcus suis infection?

My room was quite big and spacious and came with a bath and shower and also had a proper balcony you could sit out on (nice to unwind on late at night with a cold Lao beer). Other facilities in the room were good with a good safe for storing valuables and also a smart TV you could access internet on (good if you wanted to watch stuff on YouTube or similar). Breakfast was great with a diverse menu and plenty of food on offer and also plenty of space in the dining area. Pretty good location too with the area being fairly quiet and the town centre and bus station being about five minutes away.

No negatives.

I thought the decor of the hotel was excellent, particularly as the space for the frontage and entrance was at a premium. The room was very comfortable - bed, shower, aircon etc. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Location good.

I suppose the breakfast, although adequate, might have had a bit more variety. It didn't change in the time we were there. I rather miss potatoes! But good you can have some food cooked for you. To have the parking area perhaps 100 metres from the hotel itself was a bit odd. We had no problems, but I wonder what security was offered (remote cameras?) IF there was somebody with bad intentions. Of course, if having luggage and in the heat, really necessary to drive up to the hotel front to down/upload.

I am a bit perplexed as to why this hotel does not have better reviews… I loved it! The rooftop pool was a fantastic place to return to following a day of sight seeing. The check in staff were very friendly and professional. The room was large, quiet and clean. The breakfast staff were friendly (and made the best omelettes of the trip… with real butter!). The location is slightly out of town but there were always tuk tuks outride and not too much of a gaggle to get them to a reasonable price. We paid 50,000 Kip for most journeys… I’m sure we could have got it for less if we’d wanted to. The Loca app worked well for airport taxi and cost under 100k Kip.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are really spacious and gorgeous. The bed was the MOST comfortable we have had during our month in Laos (hard beds are the norm, this one was soft and dreamy, we could have stayed in all day). The staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The room service food was OK (not amazing but fine) and the breakfast was good - you can order any style eggs and the staff were delightful. Much better value than other places in Vientiane and a short walk or Loca ride from the centre of town.

The walls on our floor’s hallway were covered in Spakfilla and clearly someone has started on repairs but not got around the repainting yet. Also, I don’t know what they use in their shampoo, hand soap, and shower gel but it all smells HORRIFIC (the same smell as hair remover cream..it’s awful, we had to buy our own products to use).

Staff were helpful and friendly. Long breakfast time. Comfort bed with 2 pillows each person.

Bad smell reeked in the toilet constainly (from drainage). Shower room lacked of hangers for clothes. No wifi inside room 506. We asked to change room to 508 which was better. Buffet breakfast lacked of options but was ok for 2 days. Room keycard made it inconvienent for group members with different acitivities. Location not the best.

Can't understand the negative reviews of this place. We loved our stay! Great pool area, gym was decent enough. Cute little Rooftop bar. Our room was spacious and clean. WiFi was great! We ate at the restaurant a few times and that was great too. Room service available. They sorted out transport to Vang Vieng for us.

We stayed twice and were able to leave our luggage in between stays while we went to VV and LP. The staff are more than friendly and always willing to go out of their way for you. The rooms are so spacious and the bed is comfortable.

The first day we stayed, there were bugs on the breakfast buffet, so we didn't eat breakfast there on any other day

Its a super clean and comfy stay & the pool was a pleasant oasis on a hot day.. The staff are always friendly and helpful

On our second visit we felt that the breakfast buffet was of a lesser standard . Of course it could be that the hotel guests at that time were greedier !
