Fairly central location, within walking distance to the city centre and restaurants, and to some (not all) of the city’s main sightseeing attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite appetizing and the two young people serving the guests work hard to please them.

The first room we were given was unacceptable as there was a urine-like smell emanating from the lavatory that pervaded the bed room. The hotel staff acted quickly to give us an alternative. The second room was an improvement but it was not a good start to our three-day stay as we had to keep the curtains constantly closed because the outside patio (which our room backed on to) seemed to be used by staff. The owners of the property need to make some improvements to it as parts of it need either decent plumbing, provision of bedside lighting, more electrical sockets that work or are accessible (some are hidden behind heavy furniture!), and a lick of fresh paint.

The Hotel is very nice and clean with nice laundry crisp bed linen. The bathroom too is nice and clean with nice hotwater in shower. The toilet has water spray/ shower to wash private parts ( it limits use of toilet paper and reduces crushing and killing of tender trees that are used to make toilet paper) The breakfast is amazing, it has lots of varieties. The breakfast staff is so nice and polite and they make your morning in a very good mood.

The hotel electricity went away at night bcoz of rain for few hours. During rains is it a regular feature ? The room price is a bit on higher side

Good hotel and great staff. Good location and close enough to most everything by foot. About 12-15 walk to the river night market so a bit far in the heat. The rooms are a bit small and you can hear sounds from the hallway easily but other than that it’s quiet. The breakfast was good and i would say it’s good for a couple nights stay.

Me and a friend came to visit Laos and stayed at this hotel. I really liked it. I was very impressed with the service of this hotel. From the moment I checked in, the manager and receptionist It's very helpful. They explain the facilities. Inside the rooms and this hotel are very good. The rooms are very spacious and clean, there is breakfast and many drinks to choose from, and the Lao food here is very delicious. Today I left this hotel and next time when I come to visit I will stay here again because I really like the service here.

It was nice to have a single bed hotel room. Lovely staff. They give you a water bottle every day. Breakfast was good, they switch between buffet and ordering from a list of dishes each day - I recommend coming a bit earlier to the buffet so things don’t run out. The offered American breakfast was like a feast - you won’t go hungry. Great location

The staff was exceptional, attentive & accommodating. Overall pretty clean for the area. I appreciate how spacious everything felt given the cozy location.

I had booked 3 rooms, all 3 were suppose to come with a view. Only mine came with a view (I did not find this out until after our stay.). On the bright side, front desk was very nice and accommodating when I asked to upgrade my room because I was unhappy with my view.

This hotel is a place that offers a wonderful experience. on holiday with me Because it makes me feel very comfortable and relaxed because the service here is good and they take great care of safety. ,What I like most is that the people who stay here are very friendly and kind to me. There is also a black market or shop nearby which is great for a stroll. I really like this place.

Didn't have any breakfast. My guide/taxi driver did and he said it was okay. The room was clean because I cleaned it myself.

Even though I put a please make up message outside the door, nobody cleaned the room for 3 days. Also, the shower blows hot and cold all the time.

I would like to say that if anyone is thinking of finding a hotel to stay at. It is recommended to stay at Loei because the service is very good, There is breakfast, The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, with electrical appliances or equipment in the room and the bathroom providing complete comfort without disturbing the hotel staff at all. I really like this hotel.

This was my second time at Family Boutique Hotel. Staff were superb and the location is excellent. Having arrived on New Year's Eve and needing a train ticket to go to Luan Prabang on 1 Jan, stuff organized everything and I was able to communicate with them easily using the booking chat system which allowed me to communicate directly with hotel staff. The organize my train ticket and taxi onwards to Vientiane Railway Station to take my train the next day. Breakfast was ample and generous in a spacious eating area full of light. My room was very big with a huge bed and the bathroom was extremely clean and spacious. Highly recommended.
