I stayed in a bungalow with my small dog, and I really appreciate that this accommodation is pet-friendly. Everything was beautiful — the bungalow itself and its interior, which combines modern style with natural, cozy elements. It felt very private, yet the surroundings were lovely: a small park, rock garden, and a charming café-like area nearby to relax in. The children’s playground is set further away, which helps maintain the peaceful atmosphere. There’s also a pizzeria on-site, and breakfast is available. The best part is being so close to the sea — you can hear the soothing sound of the waves. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A truly wonderful stay!

Location of the Hotel is close to the beach, opposite the street and very short forest walk. It was possible to see the sea blue behind the trees through the windows of the apartments. The location is close to the Balta Kapa, a place where small river flows into the sea and everyone can admire picturesque sunsets from viewpoint on top of the white sand dune. Sunset trail is a nice pedestrian path going through the forest just next to the beach, it is full of breathtaking viewpoints, benches and stops for relaxation, wooden sculptures, etc. I purposefully call the room we had as apartments because it consists of two separate rooms, one of which is spacious bedroom with comfortable bed available, also kids crib was supplied on request, the other room is large 'living room' with sofa-bet, large TV, electric kettle and small fridge available. Air conditioning is only available in the main room, no air-con in the bedroom, but we did not find this as a big issue. Nice bathroom with shower available. Daily room service, tidying the rooms, replacing towels if needed, refilling toiletries... The room has a nice balcony with two chairs and table available. It was at the top floor, but the elevator is available if necessary, the only thing, that the elevator is on the other edge of the building ,so it requires to walk down the corridor to it, but the hotel is not huge. Free parking available. There is a Pizzeria in the building. Sometimes busy in the evenings, but never too loud and not working late (9 or 10 PM max). Outside there is kids playground, next to the glass terrace of pizzeria. Staff was really helpful and friendly, Mr. Alvars who worked as receptionist most of the time during our stay was really helpful and supportive with advises and recommendations, room keepers were also very polite.

Mosquitos were quite active during our stay, every short walk to the sea over the forrest I was regularly collecting some bites. But that probably depends on the season and weather conditions.

The room was spacious, clean, and it offered a view of the woods near the Baltic Sea coast. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they also spoke English. The breakfast cost extra, 15 EU, but it was very generous and gave me a lot of energy for the day.

This is not the hotel's problem, really, but Saulkrasti stretches along the Baltic Sea coast for quite a few miles, and I had to make long hikes to downtown. There is a nearby train station, though, that can speed up trips to the center of the city.

The overall experience of the hotel and rooms is rather good. The location is perfect, the rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful. It wasn't a first stay here, we knew what to expect.

What was not good - was the changes in the restaurant. Previously it was a very nice environment and food, including breakfast and dinner. This year, it seems that the main chef has changed. We were delivered yesterday's omelet (dry and cold) after waiting for 1,5 hours. Last year, the breakfast had fruits, croissants, a water table, and big tasty portions. This year - nothing similar. Long waiting time, no fruits, croissants only the other second day and bad food taste.

This is our second stay at this place. Looks that it either was improved a bit since our last stay 4 years ago, or maybe there are different facilities in different bungalows. This time we stayed at No. 4 bungalow: *looks that water has filters now, so there is no smell of iron; *no humidity smell at the bungalow; *mattress is not so bouncy as it was last time (very positive thing); *beach is very near (5min walk) with very clean sand; *we didn't expect room service here, but seems that our towels were changed between the days (I am not sure, maybe you can ask them don't do this). *we were 2 persons + dog, so bungalow size was perfect for us. Overall, our stay was really pleasant.

We stayed in a bungalow and it had a distinct feel of a country cottage, pleasant and cozy in its simple and rustic way. Great location, very quiet at night, just 5-10 min walk to the beach and nice forest path along the shore. Liked the tea set in the room, outside terrace, Wi-Fi worked fine too. Ample parking, nearby couple of shops, one restaurant onsite and one within 15 min walk.

It would be nice to have an air conditioner. The tea set had just tea bags, no coffee.

We loved our stay at the cottage in Pine Resort! The cottage was newly and nicely done up with everything that you may need. It's a great feeling to step out in the morning straight into the pine tree park and to the sound of the sea. Very close to the beach, few mins walk! Nice playground for kids. Breakfast was quite nice (it was an omelette with sausage, bacon and little fresh salad with little bread, as well as croissant with coffee. For the child it was crepes with choco cream. Nice restaurant to east at, with glass windows. The staff was friendly and nice!

Everything was great though I thought the breakfast was little too expensive (13 eur for adults and 5 eur for kids, so next time to went to eat out).

The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean, the hotel was quiet.

Breakfast was a big disappointment. For 13 euros, I would have expected much more. There were only two tiny croissants per person, one warmed sossage, some lettuce with a couple of slices of tomato and a choice of boiled egg, bull's eye or an omelet (which was actually a bit of scrambled eggs). Fruit - a few thin slices (!) of nectarine, a tiny slice of melon and one blueberry per person. The coffee was either black or white, and the juices were only apple juice. This portion was so small that I couldn't get a full stomach.

Very nice 3 person room (had a separate bedroom for our kid), clean, comfortable. Kettle and fridge in the room. Very short walk to the sea and trail, also playground outside for kids.

I don't think there was anything i disliked. Would hope to come back someday for beach vaccation. Only one thing came to mind - as it was quite warm then the room got a bit hot and the böanket was too warm to sleep with. You could add some extra sheets to use as a blanket if it is warm weather

The location near the sea. Used it as a base to travel to local places of interest .Riga only an hour away. The customer service was excellent Reception was helpful and the Spa facilities were very reasonably priced. .The restaurant was good and affordable. Had a lovely relaxing holiday and would recommend this resort strongly.

Latvia was suffering a plague of mosquitoes
