The view is superb. It is beach front. But public can access the beach (not a problem for me tho). The pool was good. The environment is chill and we got to watch sunset. There's watersports on the beach and horseback riding but you'll have to pay as it is not part of the resort's service. You can take beautiful pics here I guarantee you that. The restaurant was nice. The lobby was nice (to me at least). It is near to outside reastaurant as well (as in walking distance to other restaurants). The room was okay, clean and spacious, the view from my room was nice. The tv and ac works, iron was provided. Everything works for me. There were plenty of parking space. Everything was nice, good and comfy except the bed.

The bed was a major turn off. It is stiff. Please use a mattress topper. It really hurts our body.

Quiet location during our stay with very good swiming pool area and plenty of lounge chairs amongst the trees overlooking the sea. From our room we could see the sea and mountains, even birds and monkeys on the trees below. The hotel staff was nice and friendly and the food at the restaurant good and not expensive.

The location was fantastic. It was nice being in the North of the island. The rooms were lovely and spacious, with amazing views from the balcony. The swimming pool was amazing with different levels of depth going round. The beach is so close and beautiful views. The local night market in Batu Ferringhi is just a short walk from the hotel. It’s on every night from 7pm til Midnight. Best time to get a deal is during the week as it’s quieter whereas the weekend gets very busy and prices for the same item shoot up!

The buffet breakfast had Western and Asian offerings, but I felt it was a little limited and quite expensive. We chose to eat out instead, as outside the hotel were so many places to eat, with amazing food. at a fraction of the price. When residents had finished swimming they tend to just walk through the hotel soaking wet, leaving slippery floors and wet lifts. We could have fallen several times. There was signage saying not to do this but it was blatantly ignored.

The room and pool were fantastic, and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The service provided by all hotel staff was top-notch! We had dinner at the hotel’s café/restaurant, and while the food was delicious, we felt the menu could benefit from more variety and vibrancy. The service provided by the waitstaff was excellent, which greatly contributed to a comfortable and pleasant overall experience.

The breakfast spread was disappointing, with most of the food lacking in taste and served cold. The only items we found enjoyable were the watermelon slices and the porridge. Unfortunately, there were numerous small flies on the fruit, which was quite off-putting. Even the scrambled eggs were bland. Considering the price of RM 52.20 per person, the quality did not meet expectations—I would have preferred dining at the local nasi lemak stalls outside the hotel.

Great hotel on Batu Ferringhi beach. Rooms were large and comfortable which made travelling with young children easy. A short walk from restaurants, shops, and an excellent laundry service. If you’re travelling on a budget, I would highly recommend here. The staff are very helpful. Housekeeping do a fantastic job of maintaining cleanliness throughout the hotel, our room was spotless. The hotel has a nice pool complete with children’s splash park area and is very family friendly.

The hotel needs some money spent on it, it’s very tired and a little dilapidated in areas but this does not affect your holiday experience. The breakfast offering is awful!

The resort grounds were beautiful. It was very scenic and comfortable. Very good location to walk outside to local restaurants. Short drive to the many attractions. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and big.

The food and beverage were very expensive. It was cheaper to walk outside to the local restaurant with a lot of varieties. There was no entrainment like the Hard Rock Cafe beside them. Hopefully, the new management team can change all of these in 2026.

The hotel is very good for stay in Penang as i stayed there for 3 nights 1- room is spacious with a great view and comfortable beds - it is a bit outdated but nothing to really complain about 2- the beach area is great and very near to the hotel and pools are big and clean with depth that suits all needs 3- some great activities and sightseeing nearby ( Escape water park , species park , butterfly park ) 4- the night market is a good for a night walk with several shops and restaurants 5- area is very secure and safe Note - Penang is a very big island so the hotel and the beach considered away from other attractions like penang hill and George town but transportation is convenient and easy using grab or public transpiration

The parking at the basement.No lights in there and it looks scary for me.Im prefer parking at the the roadside is better.

The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile, which made us feel very welcome. One of the highlights was the breakfast spread, which was absolutely splendid. It offered a great variety of choices, with delicious Malaysian delicacies that gave us a real taste of local flavors. Overall, Bayview Beach Resort exceeded our expectations, and we would be delighted to return in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Probably wouldn't recommend getting food here, it costed 12+ ringgit for a glass of milk and the cheese on the pizza was quite old. Just get delivery, you can get a meal fit for a king delivered for like 5usd, these guys charge quite a lot for substandard room service food. It feels like it would have been super luxurious in 1998, its a bit dated now. You CANT SWIM AT THE BEACH. At a beach resort. Found that quite funny. As far as south East Asian beach destinations go, batu ferringhi is decidedly underwhelming. It would be a great first-time-to-asia place, but having been to boracay, Sanur and even Patong, it just offers very little.
