The place has surely a lot of potential, it is set in a beautiful secluded location, surrounded by the forest. The units are spacious and clean, hot springs and swimming pools are a plus. We liked the food but I would suggest adding a few more western positions for breakfast. Dinner was fine, very tasty. It would be nice to have a cafeteria where to enjoy light snacks during the day since the place is very far from everything. Yoga courses/ massages would be a huge success.

Lovely resort in the jungle, amazing pool and hit spring, nice chalet and a lot of food! If you wabt vegetarian food you need to let them know in advance so they can prepare something for you.

the road to get there really is a challenge!

Its a very nice place to begin with despite the location that is super deep inside a palm tree plantation. From the main road to the resort took us around 45 minutes. The room is clean and the area is very spacious. Nothing special in the breakfast spread, the dinner was quite good though. The natural pool was big, cold and nice. We had the room with a balcony facing the pond, it was so calm at night relaxing at the balcony. My kids had fun feeding the fish as well.

The hot spring pool was nice but it needs to be cleaned big time! The deeper part of the natural pool was clean as the water was flowing but the kids pool wasn't very clean, no water flowing as well.

If you are looking for a close to nature getaway, this is the place for you. Peaceful environment, decent room (without fridge and TV) and absolutely relaxing surroundings. We booked a semi-d unit on water overlooking mountains (Puupa), with 1 single bed + 1 double bed + 1 day bed - which perfect for a family of 4. Price a lil bit at higher end. The resort is 30 mins away from the main road. The drive is rather challenging as the road is very narrow - near cliff and waterfall and river. And on coming cars and bikes have to give ways so that we can pass each other. Location a bit deep into the hill and not advisable to drive there after sunset (You might spot one or two pocongs along the way aha!). But once you reach @sementrahsnatureresort , you will feel very relaxed, peaceful and calm. Kids can enjoy the hot spring, swimming pool, fish feeding, and rajah broke sightseeing. They also have a mini hiking trail for you and your kids to explore! 3D2N would be just right, more than that you guys will be pisang a bit.

The ala carte menu is limited. No ventilation in bathroom. They should provide umbrella in the room. The toilet / changing room at the pool have no electricity. No proper coffee served at the cafe. Breakfast almost finished by 930am.

The place is very secluded and a good place for a retreat. The hot spring comes from a natural source and is very relaxing. The swimming pool also is made from natural water from the hills. There is a restaurant, that provides breakfast and the food is average. If you are looking to get away from the busy schedule of the city and traffic, this is the place and there is also WIFI so you can do your work there. Would be a nice place if you are a writer, or researcher wanting to complete your manuscript or proposal. I stayed for only one night, I think two nights would have been best. More than that, I would get bored, but it is perfect for one or two nights.

The road to get there was very narrow and winding, quite dangerous, especially at night. I think this needs to be highlighted on the website. Once you are there, it's best not to get out but everything is available at the resort. The price is quite high but I think it is worth it for the experience. Inside it is calm and generally safe but there is no way of reaching the staff if there is an emergency. I would suggest for a panic alarm, especially at the hot springs and swimming pool. While I was there, there was a dog which is not a problem if the dog is tame and belongs to the resort, but I was worried if it was a wild dog. The dog looked friendly enough but I think the resort should put a sign to say that it has dogs so that people can feel safe.

An amazing place in the jungle but not lost there as it may sound from some reviews. Some reviews were complaining about the road there we had no problem. The road is in a good shape and a car needs to stop at some points when another car is in the opposite direction but if one drives slowly I don't see any problem. We enjoyed tranquility of the place, amazing swimming pool and hot springs. Super relaxing. What a pity we didn't have time to stay there longer but one night!

Beautiful surroundings, lovely hot spring and swimming pool. The chalet we booked had a balcony overlooking the lake and fish feeding was fun from here. Breakfast and dinner was local fare and delicious. Staff were polite. We had the whole resort to ourselves.

The heater did not work. The phone did not work. Every time we needed something we had to walk up to reception. Staff seemed well aware of the issues but offered no apology or help. Strange. Road leading up to the resort was horrendous.

Very beautiful view from the room. I stayed in villa on the lake. Had fun feeding the fish & watching Rajah Brooke. Had a dip in the hot spring & pool. The place is very good for relaxing & clearing your mind.

My laptop charger was damage (luckily my laptop is ok) due to power surge due to heavy rain & thunder. I suggest the mgmt put a warning not to use/charge electrical devices during heavy rain.

We love the natural Atmosphere, the cleanliness, the property was very well maintained.. able to see animals up close and feeding fishes was therapeutic.. the concept of no tv was remarkable.. will be coming back often as we are comfortable with the whole package and it was refreshing for us city folks

1. The hot spring could be well kept and cleaned every now and then 2. We saw a dead frog at the spot where we can soak our legs at the hot spring 3. Have more options for breakfast and dinner (eg: cereals, fresh milk, lighter dinner - pasta, garlic bread, mushroom soups) will be better for some of us who want to have lighter food

Peaceful..away from hectic life. Kids love to feed the fish in the pond. Very cold at night that you don’t have to turn on the aircond. View is amazingly beautiful.😍

The road to the resort a bit too small. Have to drive carefully esp when another car coming from the other way.
