The accommodation was very functional

The surrounding was okay but sometimes seems scary when no one was there at the reception

Good ambience especially at the common area / terrace. Everything is beyond expectation for a guest house. This will be our new fav place to stay anytime travelling to Ipoh in future. The owner was very accomodating. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing stay. Easy access to town too Very easy self check in / check out. Love the cat 💗

Friendly note to others - There is no lift. At first we thought it will be difficult if we are coming with luggage bags. But we are wrong. There is nothing to worry about as the stairs are exactly like any other double storey houses. Just in case you are travelling with elderly, can request for room at the first floor.

Easy check in process.

Not a big issue but the tv remote not working.. battery leaked inside the tv remote. Since i dont watch much tv..i didnt bother abt it.

The location is safe and very good. The room is not like a guest house, this looks like a hotel room. Everything is very good in staying at Mydream guest house.

However, traveling with a baby is kind of a rush every time. Better separate the private kitchen and the guest area. So, will there be no misunderstanding about how to use the kitchen, even though the kitchen is not for everyone? I think people with their family like to find a guest house with a kitchen because they prefer to cook rather than purchase food online. People always see first about the review first of the guest house.

It is a great place to relax. I liked their backyard, which has a nice patch of greenery where I spent my afternoon enjoying the cool shade from the trees. They provide free coffee and tea for guests to enjoy. The bed was also very comfortable. Plus, it’s not too far from the city center, which makes it convenient.

It's not that I didn't like it — it's just a personal preference: the pillow was a bit too high for me. Also, if you don’t have your own transport, it might be a bit difficult to get around. But nowadays, you can easily use Grab (e-hailing) to go out.

Love the ambience of this place. Feels homey but with hotel vibes. Star of the show was the resident cat. Room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The were complimentary coffee and tea in the kitchen and parking is right infront of the building.

Location was mistakenly brought to “Hwang”, which it was an abandoned house in the area. I had to reroute my waze to get to the correct location . They only gave one access card to use to allow power and unlocking the door. And we accidentally got locked out because my partner forgot to take the card when we were hanging around the kitchen area so we had to call the owner to help us open our room door. The iron was not working well. Even after putting at the highest temperature, my clothes were still wrinkled. The ironing board had some burn marks which made it hard to iron clothes on. And the room lighting was very dim.

Easy self check in and check out, there were no receptionists during our stay but there was a cat that was always there, I'm convinced he's the owner 😂. Room was clean and comfortable with working AC & wifi. The iron is shared with other guests but this caused no issue for us. The location is in a quite housing area but it felt totally safe even for us female travellers. There were some snacks available in the kitchen and a water filter too so it was easy to refill our water bottles. Would definitely not mind to stay here again

Easy check in process. The house is very pretty, welcoming, comfy and clean. Love the neighborhood area - quite and kinda near to town. Got cute chubby grey cat (good boy too - gentle with kids). For muslim, you can hear azan cause got nearby surau.

My balcony kinda dirty with bird poop - not really giving privacy since neighbour can see us clearly, also next room guest able to take a peek inside our balcony too. No kettle provided in room. Not sure why but i dont like the lighting in our room.

The place were very easy to reach, near to the town area but surroundings were very quiet and zen. Decorations were very nice with some muji concept. The host were super friendly, helpful and attentive. If you're going to Ipoh with your family and trying to get away from the cities hustle and bustle, i recommend you to stay at this amazing guest house. Oh, and the price are super affordable too.

What i didn't like is, i can't stay for a much longer time there cause i have to go back to work, otherwise, there's nothing to hate about this place 😉

Feels like home during my stay here.. luxury feel ambiance.. the room is ample.. the back terrace facing a field, mini garden.. very serene.. suprisingly founds a pair of enggang and lang sewah.. i will stay here again.. plus, check in and check out are super easy.. a quiet and safe guest house.. no worry for solo traveller..

Nothing to complain.. it would be nice if you frequently refill the tea & coffee.. i like having breakfast at the terrace.. very calming gazing at the green field and trees.. birds chirping
