The location of the hotel was at the heart of Kangar. Easy access to mainroads, banks and eateries. Location was quite safe as well. The hotel seems to be a classic-modern hotel. The building looks old but the quality of stay was reasonably good. The room was maintained well but "nature-friendly". Cleanliness and comfort met my expectations. All the hotel personal were very accommodative and friendly.

Television can be upgraded for better experience.

I just love the simplicity...the vibes...its like an old fashion hotel...it strikes my memory back in the 80s when things were simple and nothing much to expect....living this easy going pace makes u feel forever grateful with life..

Honestly, I like everything about this hotel...may be because I am an old man with no high expectation....just enjoy the vibes..after all Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia....

The location is great. Nasi kandar restaurant is just next door. Quad room is big.Toilet is huge. Both toilet and the room itself are big and clean too, only we found one big cockroach once. 😣

We stayed in a quad room. One of the double bed need to be changed coz you can feel the bed spring. Room was clean but we found one big cockroach crawling once. Towel need to be changed too coz too thin and got old stains.

Could improve more on toilet n beds

1.mozzie disturbance. 2.jumped frm bed coz some loonnie yelled in the middle of the night non stop. not sure if management took controk or not. 3. stairs everywhere. frm road to lobby. lobby to nearby lift. 100% not wheelchair friendly.

Location and ample parking space, friendly staffs. Will repeat again, Federal Hotel is my favourite place to stay in Perlis

Cleanliness is something to be improved. Lot of taik cicak behind the curtain but it's just minor. Overall I'm satisfied

Nothing much to complain.

I didn’t expect the room to have a hairdryer & clean towels. Extra points for excellent housekeeping services without request.

However, a bit disappointed with bathroom mat (towel) being folded & recycled, and one of the twin mattresses is kind of old & broken.
