The hotel is conveniently located opposite Suria Sabah shopping mall. When I am tired after a long day, I can just go there for dinner and shopping without booking a Grab Taxi. The old-world charm of the furniture and lighting are nostalgic. I feel like I am living in the past without being born in the 1970s. They have fast elevators, a fast check-in process, and a doormen at the hotel entrance to open the door for you. It can save me time and complete my busy itinerary without delays.

The aircon takes a while to adjust on the first day and cool the room. I have to wait for it to do its job. The disposable toothbrush and toothpaste are missing upon receiving the room. I have to call room service and request for the toothbrush and toothpaste. The hotel breakfast food is very basic. Some of my favourite foods are not available but I still have to eat what is available because I need the energy for travel.

I like the Hospitality they provide. The staff there are super good service, they wont let you open the door yourself. Also they keep smile on their face all time. This is my first time in KK by myself, i feel safe staying there.

Not much of the things i dont like actually, is just the hotel were the old hotel, nothing much to complain. I would say the price is reasonable due to they are not like those new hotel .. Sometime it might be a bit noisy if you stay lower floors

Just opposite suria sabah mall. I booked for sea view room, so they got me a sea view room. Room size just nice, a little space for solat.

A bit hussle for car parking, their basement parking very limited, if they hv a slot then u can park there, if no then you've to park at public parking which will cost you (weekdays parking).

Strategic location. Located very very near to Suria Sabah. Highly recommended for those traveling alone, especially women, it is easy to go find food and shop. And i suggest you request a room with sea view, the sunset is the best

the lighting is a little bit dimmed. because they use yellow light. a little bit dark for those who wants to do work at the desk. but still acceptable.. maybe the hotel wants to conserve energy. the chair is a little bit uncomfortable, because the cushion is worn out, but still acceptable. the aircond is centralized, so i either turn it on or off.. and cannot adjust the temperature. but still acceptable.

Extremely near to Syria Sabah, food is readily available. Walking distance to many attractions in the city. Friendly staff, helpful in getting day tour for me. Bellman is always sorta looking out for guests who stay there, so it's nice knowing someone is keeping an eye on guests'safety. Hotel supports sustainable living, so I love the concept of not changing towels everyday etc..

Bathroom wall has yellowish stain n mouldy. No light buttons near the bed. Had to switch off all buttons near the door, n used my phone to shine light to get into bed.

Best location as it is near to Suria mall and Plaza Merdeka. Though our room is not seaview but the toilet is bigger and spacious. Love it!

Not satisfied with the 3pm check-in time. Initially the male staff declined our early check-in. However, I'm grateful to the lady frontdesk who allowed us to check in early as our room is ready at that time.

No parking available, and the concierge didnt help much either..everytime i ask for question regarding the parking he always said no parking available, n when i see a spot to park, he said its been paid for and when i asked where to book and pay for the parking he just shrugged and said he is newly on the job..which confusing rather annoying kind of attitude. I would prefer to be inform clearly about the parking prosedure, its kind of hassle to check from time to time to find a suitable parking spot

I really like the location. I didn't expect much at first because this is a very old hotel, but the service is good. The room is clean and didn't smell old. The location is really strategic, just beside Suria Sabah which is really convenient to find food or to buy groceries.

There aren't many parking spots. You can park at the hotel parking lot but it is quite expensive, RM15/day. And the room light is quite dimmed

The bathroom was out of my expectation. its big & the water pressure was strong even its Level 9. The only things is the shower head is S size, maybe can change to M or L? lol

The light in the room was too dim, maybe can be more brighter? Can add a table lamp, bedside lamp maybe will be better. And the lounge at lobby why not open daily for your room guest? and the happy hour can it extend till 11pm or 12am? tq
