This is my fifth stay at this hotel (once I even booked directly at the counter!), which speaks volumes about how much I appreciate it. Here's a breakdown of what I like: Friendly staff: Connie, in particular, is incredibly welcoming and helpful. It was always a pleasure chatting with her before heading out to explore. Powerful shower: The strong water pressure was fantastic! Secure access: The pincode entry system at the main entrance provides an extra layer of security and peace of mind. Comfortable bed: While there were a few stains on the pillows, the bed and pillows themselves were very comfortable. Prime location: You can't beat the location! It's surrounded by eateries, pharmacies, a GP, markets, and malls – all within easy walking distance. The weekend markets are practically on the doorstep. Strong WiFi: Reliable WiFi is essential for me, and this hotel usually delivers. There was a brief period with some connectivity issues during my last stay, but luckily my mobile data worked well. Hopefully, the WiFi issue has been resolved. Overall, I've consistently had a positive experience at this hotel and would definitely recommend it, especially for budget-conscious travelers. Just keep the stairs in mind if you have difficulty with mobility. The fantastic location and friendly staff make this a great base for exploring the area and enjoying all the delicious food nearby!

Perfect location, everything is walking distance. We only paid 10myr for a grab to the airport in the middle of the night! Comfy bed, tv with netflix, cattle, ac, drinking water available at the reception, hot shower, clean.

Room is small and a bathroom is tiny, for the price this is absolutely fine but if you would like to stay here for a longer period or if you have a lot of luggage it might be uncomfortable. Some simple things should be fixed, you can't fully open the door, broken bathroom handle and bathroom door etc. Staff not always available. Overall, this is a great value for money.

Comfortable bed. Very nice and helpful staff. Great location. Asked to move from first room for better view and that was handled well. Quiet but right in the middle of great restaurants etc. Water for shower was a puzzle (there's a pump or something that means water is delayed like a minute to come on full force) but once I figured it out it worked fine.

Bathroom was quite small ( I'm 6ft and had to sit on toilet sideways), but everything worked fine.

The location at gaya street easy to find food and the room's decoration is giving modern look. Will comeback again nextime 😊

We wait almost for 15minutes outside since there is nobody at the counter. We can't get inside since the door has a code and hot weather. What even worse no smile and appology for the late response from the staff after we came check in.

Excellent location, self check-in and instructions sent in advance. Super attentive and helpful staff. Clean, and very small rooms. The front rooms have double windows which helps a lot. Great speed internet available. Great for enjoying the center of Kota Kianbalu or visiting the islands.

Lots of stairs and little space to put suitcases.

Room with a view was to another building, very bright light at night that shone through the curtains. 3rd floor, plenty of exercise to get to the room without a lift.

Staff were so friendly and responsive to any requests, the room was clean and well equipped, and we loved the neighbourhood. We were very happy with our stay and added an additional week to our planned time in KK because we liked it so much! ❤️

This hotel is super clean. And even tho it is located at Gaya Street, there is no unwanted noise whatsoever. We enjoyed our stay so much that we kept talking about it to every business partner we met. It is an affordable stay with quality of 5 stars hotel. if you are fussy about cleanliness, go to this hotel. their hotel is super clean. and i love the netflix in the room. bonus !
