I liked the amazing view of the sunset, mountains, garden, and the early check-in. All the staff were friendly; what I liked most was that the manager was humble enough to talk to guests—asking how they could improve, offering what I needed, and even going beyond that by taking a picture of me, as I am a solo traveler. 😀 Moreover, I took a jungle trek, and it was a good experience—a replacement for the gym, a chance to enjoy nature and hike. I liked the food (you can only rely on their restaurant because I think there are none nearby). The Wi-Fi is a bit intermittent but able to manage work calls. The room is spacious. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, you can come here for a retreat experience. It would not be called Haven for no reason!🥰

The only thing that bothered me was that no one picked me up from the Grab, even though I scheduled it in advance; drivers were canceling. I almost missed my flight but managed to call a previous driver I had in my contacts. I recommend coming on days convenient for you when you don't have any upcoming flights; otherwise, that could be a problem, unless you have a private driver to pick you up. Oh, for areas to improve, I guess adding a small fridge would be helpful, as I had room service food I couldn't finish at night and had nowhere to place it. Also, there was a spider nest in the bathroom.

The majestic sunset and the mountain view from my room was lovely. The receptionists were also very warm and friendly. The room was comfy with all the basic necessities.

There was a youth group event during our stay, and the kids were a bit noisy. But thankfully they quietened down during the night. In terms off sustainability, the resort can consider the use of reusables glass bottles for water instead of the plastic ones.

We loved the location and the view. The staffs was excellent especially the receptionist. The room was spacious and clean. The view facing mountain and it was excellent view at sunrise. The restaurant facing the sunset and it was excellent.

I've been stayed at plenty of 3 star to 5 star hotel and Resorts, so I did notice something was missing in this facility especially the room. For the price at least the room have a decent fridge. I think most guest want to store their cool drink or for family setting they will need the fridge to store their baby milk. Other than that, my wife pretty disappointed with the television didn't work (no channels at all), we did called the receptionist to fixed it but still no channels and my wife gave up, she didn't called the receptionist back. Last one, the lighting was all warm and yellow, maybe at least put 1 task lightning (white colour) for women's do their make up. Hope this review can improve the quality of the facility.

The ambience soothe any broken hearts and tired souls in need of healing moments. Facilities were good and working well. Staff are all attentive to needs. Wifi connection is very strong, which is a very good plus point👍

Breakfast was not much of a choice. The coffee was served not hot enough, so when u added in the cold milk, it was not appetising for us. Another point is that u need to ask first on some facilities like the minibar availability. Not all rooms have it, so check first during check-in. But it doesn't really bother us.

Strategic in a way that u can have the views of both Crocker range and Mount Kinabalu and KK City too, including Sepanggar Bay on the other side. A lot of places to take pics at and they are renovating some areas even. Plenty of trails and games to keep yourself entertained. The room/bed/toilet all kept clean and well maintained. I paid RM430 for a room that can possibly house 4 adults n 2 toddlers? Plenty of car park as well so no need to park ur car by the road side at an angle.

The road to get there, although all asphalt was quite steep and winding, even to get to the rooms/place to stay. If you are brave, it would be an easy peasy trip but for myself-I charted a grab to send and fetch me. The air conditioner remote control has no battery and by the time I realise it was late night. Although there is a restaurant and also room service, the menu is quite limited esp during weekdays.

I love the spacious room and the view. There are lots of photo spots around the property. We stayed at Rose villa, and they provided a buggy from there to the main resort. So you have a choice to walk or take the buggy ride. There was a dog on the property, but they minds its own business and doesn't bark. So it fine.

The night light at the bedside didn't work.

The room is very spacious and clean. On 26th July our first day is very windy but we still got to see a beautiful sunset. The breakfast served were great with the serene cafe and good staff.I also like many instagramable spot provided for guests to pose.

I would like to request the hotel to improve its hot water system at the shower because it takes many minutes befote the water became warm for shower. The quest need to be informed to rent a suitable car , to drive from airport to kokol haven .

i liked the service especially from Ms Izah who has been assisting us since the day we checked-in. The resort is located up in the mountain which we only realised on the day we arrived. Ms Izah had assisted in getting a transprt as its not many transpprt services willing to come up to the mountain to pick us up. Best location tp watch sunset.

The resort should provide shuttle service to /from town/ resort, even if they need to charge a nominal fee.

Hot rain shower did not function.. the staff show us how to use but waiting about 10 minutes still hot shower did not function properly.. water really cold at the top of kokol hill during stay..

Nice scenary. Very helpful and friendly staffs who helped me in my requests. Nice view of mountains and sea. Cafe and reception staffs are very kind , patience and helpful.

May have power failure at times. Lots of insects outside corridors . Reception will close at 11pm so sometimes difficult to get help. Up the hill, so hard to book grab . Overall, staffs try their best to assist our needs.
