Breakfast.. Need to more variation.. Taste also need to be improved.. The roti canai is good.. But chicken curry please don't just use chicken neck only.

The breakfast spread was quite good for the room rate. There was a roti canai stall, bread section n main course which was fried rice, fried noodles, rice porridge meehoon soup, hot coffee n tea. The aircond in the room was functioning well. The front desk staff and receptionist were cordial and accommodating. We requested for a late check out to perform our zohor prayer and it was granted. May God bless you for your kindness n understanding.

The tv reception was poor. The screen appeared grainy, the image wasn't sharp. Even the tv reception in Pulau Tuba was better, clearer screen and sharp images. The door key was a little difficult to open the door. Use the card door key for easier handling.

The room and the toilets were spacious, clean and well maintained. The rooms were well maintained. The breakfast was good, but the choices were limited and repeated daily. The food was more of Malaysian style, a bit hard on Indians. The roti was very good and fluffy and tasty and went well with Canai, a malaysian speciality. The location is very good and all city attractions within walkable reach.

There is no restaurant to serve food other than breakfast. only room service is available with limited options. The towels provided were a bit worn out, but changed daily. The AC is room AC which proved to be inadequate or the size of the room. The light at the tea service point was sensor actuated and it was getting switched on every time somebody on the cot moved at night which was a little disturbing. Else the stay was very pleasant.

I, was fortunate to choose the Hotel Grand Continental for my stay. Initially, I selected it because they offered stay included breakfast at a very reasonable price, and after reading positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. I stayed for three days and had a wonderful experience. I requested a late checkout, and they kindly extended it to 3 p.m. instead of the usual 12 noon. The hotel’s location is excellent, and overall, I would highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

Honestly, I have no complaints at all. It was a truly wonderful experience being there, Masha’Allah.

The staff did everything possible to make it a nice experience.

- WiFi didn't work well. Extremely weak signal in the room and poor download speed. Video calls were impossible. The system needs a redesign. (Staff installed a WiFi router outside my room to improve the service. Full credit to them for effort.) - AC control up at the ceiling and I needed to climb up on a chair to adjust it. Not safe especially when you get out of bed at night to adjust. A safety concern. (A credit to the staff. They found an old remote fit me.)

breakfast is good spc parathas, room location is good get the city view+ mountains early morning its look amazing location is perfect if you are with kids restaurants and supermarket is near by all hotel staff is very humble and down to earth lady on the reception helped so much. island hoping and mangrove tours can be booked from the receptions. kids enjoyed too much in the pool they don't wana come out

WIFI is big problem in the hotel complaint twice but no use. Need to upgrade Linen quality.

- Only one key per room, very inconvenient - Lift is due for upgrading - Corridors due for upgrading, very poorly ventilated - Toilets due for upgrading, worn out and dirty - Utensils provided at restaurant needs to be cleaner

Staff and room cleaning and service

Swimming pool was not clear water. Breakfast was not good enough and the plate that egg was made for breakfast had burning stuff and was on the egg too.
