The hotel and room was clean and comfortable, with good air con and daily housekeeping. We were lucky to get a North facing room on the top floor, so had a cool view of the Petronas Twin Towers and KL Tower. 5 minutes walk to Chinatown and 10-15 minutes to Bukit Bintang.

The pillows were VERY hard and the WiFi was frustratingly inconsistent. If the hotel could fix these two things, it would be a perfect stay.

I stayed at Signature International Hotel China Town from 12–13 July 2025 and booked both a Family Triple Queen Room and a Deluxe Twin Room. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful, polite, and friendly, including the housekeeping team — when we requested an iron, it was delivered promptly to our room. Although the rooms were a bit small, they were still comfortable and well-kept, with clean bathrooms, comfortable pillows and mattresses, and even a mini fridge in the family room. We also appreciated the lift access to the upper floors and enjoyed a nice view of the Merdeka 118 building from our window. The location is excellent — the hotel is close to various amenities such as restaurants and convenience stores, and it’s just about a 5-minute walk to the nearest LRT station. It made getting around the city really easy. Parking is available, but limited. If the hotel’s parking is full, there are paid parking options nearby. While breakfast was not included, there’s a café inside the hotel where guests can have breakfast at their own cost. If there’s anything to improve, I would suggest adding a large mirror in the bedroom area (not just in the bathroom) — this would be especially useful for female guests who need space to get ready more easily. Would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays in the city!

Location was perfect. Clean rooms friendly and helpful staff. Within walking distance to everything, great views.

The hotel has a strict “no smoking” policy, had to move rooms due to guests smoking in their rooms and the smell coming through the vents which isn’t nice when you don’t smoke yourself. The bedding and clothes smelt of cigarette smoke, it was honestly like somebody had been smoking inside the room it was that bad. Upon talking to reception the staff agreed to change our room with no further problems.

Amazing location. Walking distance from almost everything we wanted to see. (Jalan Alor ~15m, Petronas Towers ~30m, Petaling Street ~20m, Islamic Arts Museum ~35m) The room was nice enough! Big enough for two. Possibly tight if you come with a large stroller bag but if you have backpacks or a small stroller bag, it’s plenty spacious. Amazing water pressure and hot water. We appreciated the hair dryer. The AC gets very cold very quickly which is a huuuuge relief if you’ve been walking all day. The property has an elevator and a 24h front desk, both of which are very convenient. They give you free water daily as well.

Minor complaints: Not enough counter space in the washing up area so if you have lots of skin care or makeup, there’s not much space to place them. There’s nowhere to place your shampoo and conditioner in the shower area so they have to go either on the floor or on the lid of the toilet seat. Pillows were very very firm.

Awful WiFi, make sure you have data or something as you will not load much on the WiFi. Deposit required in cash, not ideal, meant the day we left for the airport we had to spend more than we wanted. Our water went at one point but it came back, would be nice to have a fridge.

What I liked: The location, so close to everything like Chinatown, Central Market etc etc. The Malay girl with the glasses who works in the reception in the morning was really kind and helpful. The price was great as well. It's a very good value and rare to find in KL to be honest.

There were some yellow stains on the sheets I found on the first day which was quite disturbing and I still feel disgusted till now. However, once I told the girl in the reception she made sure they were changed.

During breakfast, I have found that the lentils stew (daal) was watery and tasteless. The tables were not cleaned after someone was done eating.

The room was very clean and had a window, something uncommon in Kuala Lumpur for this price, and we had views of the Petronas Towers! The room was cleaned daily, and the sheets and towels were changed several times during our stay. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Good location, about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway, and most tourist attractions are within walking distance.

Location was walking distance from nearly everything. Street food market about 7 minute walk and 7/11 on the corner. Anywhere you need to get is easy, train station is on the train road. Staff was helpful and always present, and cleanliness is was great.

Bed sheet didnt fit so 1 move and the whole sheet was off and laying on the dirty mattress. Bathroom door didn’t shut properly.
