This place is a pure delight. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom very clean. I loved the roof top restaurant and the young lady chef makes delicious grilled salmon. The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of choice. The staff was adorable which is always the most important. The small bedside lights are very convenient. I loved the decoration of the hotel and the bedroom. There’s a laundry room a gym and a meeting room for whoever wants to work. A young fresh atmosphere. Extremely pleasant. Well located too. 💟

Breakfast desperately needs to be improve. Staffs serving breakfast neither friendly nor welcoming. The options are too limited! During stay, the alarms and announcements went off several times. It's fantastic to know they have a terrific safety alert.

It was my first time in KL, I had a terrible experience in a previous hotel and found LYF by chance. I arrived tired, broken and suspicious of everything. The first thing I noticed was that the staff at this hotel were the most sincere and caring people I have ever met. They were so welcoming, so kind and helpful. Two members of staff stood out the most, Aisyah from the restaurant on the 12th floor was superb. If you stay at this hotel, make sure you go and say hi to her as she will brighten up your day and don’t forget to try some of her delicious handmade pastries and cakes. They are absolutely delicious. Secondly, Azizi from reception, very knowledgeable and lots of fantastic recommendations on what to do around the city. There was a third person who worked nights on reception, a Chinese Malay chap (forgive me for forgetting your name) but he was a fountain of knowledge and full of very good advice. Throughout my stay I felt like I was in the company of friends. The hotel itself is great, my room was big, had a very cool mural on the wall, very trendy, very clean and super affordable. The fact that they had a water filter on my floor made life so much easier, not to mention a restaurant on the 12th floor, a roof garden on the 13th floor and DIY laundry facilities. The bed was very comfortable, I had a lovely view and the hotel was spotless. The hotel is in walking distance to many top locations in KL particularly Masjid Jamek, China town, Independence Square, and the Eco park. I would definitely visit again and stay here. Thank you guys for everything.

I have nothing to recommend, everything was perfect

My stay was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel, my room, and the amenities all seemed new and were very clean. I found the bed to be very comfy! I particularly loved there was an option for a washer and dryer (rare!), a workspace area, a cafe, and a gym. I think the location was also pretty convenient, and I enjoyed going to some of the cafes that were closeby as well as a short walk to Chinatown. Also, I was solo traveling so felt very safe in the space and walking around nearby.

It's on a main road so rush hour has a lot of traffic. If you're planning to take a Grab, just budget for extra time.

24 hour reception, good wifi, nice clean room and great air conditioning. Water pressure was good in the bathroom. There is onsite laundry (for a fee) and also a cafe and restaurant. It is walking distance to Chinatown.

Not a problem for us but Lyf offers likited housekeeping (light housekeeping every two days and full service every four days). However you can always ask for more towels etc at the reception if required.

Staff were amazing. The room’s design was simple but funky. All the amenities were there (soap, cream, coffee, kettle, cups, tv, safe). Great location in a quiet area of KL. The view from the 12th floor is lovely and the laundry facilities were excellent.

A small fridge would have been nice. A bit of soundproofing would help too (or padding on the doors so they don’t shut as loudly). These are very minor things.

Open and comfortable co-working spaces to work and hang out - coffee shop at the ground level which served my daily breakfast needs. The wifi speeds were sufficiently fast. The staff were very friendly and understanding to my questions and requests. The bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep.

The accommodation is located about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the nearest LRT station (Masjid Jamek LRT) and require crossing a couple of busy streets - a point to note if you are going to be carrying heavy suitcases. The walls of the room seem to be slightly thin and I was able to hear movements of people walking along the corridor and in their rooms. I would suggest earplugs.

Not the best location but some places are walking distance like chinatown, some kopitiam, some restaurant. I booked for 1 apartment type with 2 rooms for 4 nights. Clean room, strong wifi. They didn't give you mineral water for free but they have a free tapping water in the room. So we can drink anytime we want and it separate from sink water. Complete kitchen equipment in our room. In 12th floor you will find game room, laundry room, kitchen sharing and gym room. They will clean your room every 2nd and 4th day in the week. The staffs are very helpful especially Wey. It was a good experience stay in this hotel.

We had a very quiet room with a lovely window. It had great facilities and aircon, and the bed was super comfy. The facilities at the hotel were great, although we were expecting a restaurant and bar on the top level which either wasnt operating or doesnt exist. I noticed some other reviews saying the location wasn't great, but it was perfect for us. It's a short walk to Chinatown, central and some other interesting areas, but far away enough to be quiet at night.

Our stay was almost perfectly satisfactory, but we came back to the room one evening and noticed a plush toy was missing. Sure, it's not important, but still wasn't a nice feeling to have some belongings missing from the room. The staff at reception said they messaged the housekeeping staff, but we heard no updates until we left.

A very relaxed place with all the quality of a hotel, but with the relaxed atmosphere of a backpackers hostel. We are a family of four and had a kitchenette which was fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, a tea towel and tea, green tea and coffee. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a variety of food such as toast, salads, baked beans, eggs and rice. Thanks Shaun for putting that spread on each morning. And helpful reception staff (Wang!)

We liked everything but maybe a suggestion of a bigger toaster at breakfast and a few more games and books in the communal space.
