Every day there was an activity organized by the hostel. Bathroom where clean and there was hot water. The location was perfect, however be assured that it is in a part of the city where a lot of men are on the streets.

I had the single room and the room was open on the top. So if someone from another single room next to me (there were in total 8 rooms) had the light on, in my room was also light or if someone passes by and turned the light on in the hallway it was the same. Same also for noises..

Excellent staff and location, couple with comfy mattresses, thick duvet both covered in pure white soft fabric. Ice cold A/C. Throw in a swimming pool and can’t fail to be happy? Nice common area, divided into smoking and non smoking areas. Beautiful old world charm of a building too! Juice shop across the road is amazing. Betel Leaf Indian restaurant on next street is outstanding Indian food. Free water refills. Lovely restaurant beneath with 20% discount for people staying.

Peak time, you may (rare) have a few minutes wait for a shower. Chairs in smoking area could do with being renewed soon.

I had a really great stay here! The place works really well not only for short trips but also for mid to long-term stays. One of the highlights is definitely the co-working space inside the hostel – it’s spacious, equipped with proper desks and chairs, and creates the perfect environment for getting things done. As a digital nomad, I found it incredibly convenient to have the co-working space right where I was staying, which saved me time and made working on the road much easier. At the same time, the hostel keeps a good social vibe once the workday is over, with nice daily events that make it easy to meet other travelers. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help, which made me feel very welcome. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms and toilets are also kept very tidy. Overall, it’s a great mix of productivity and fun – highly recommended!

I'm a late riser so I didn't eat every day, but the breakfast was amazing. I loved the smoking room because it was comfy and full of fun and interesting people. I loved the cheap beer they sold, and they had a wonderful employee who would take us out every night after she got off work. I was very grateful for the different activities that the hostel would set up.

I was the only person who seemed to have trouble connecting to the WiFi on my phone(my laptop connected just fine). The restaurant downstairs seated their customers next to the pool, which made the idea of going for a swim during the day very uncomfortable. The owner told me now to worry, that I have every right to use the pool, but the customers were mostly muslim and I didn't want to offend them by wearing a bikini while they were eating with friends/family.

Everything was great. Very helpful staff. Comfy beds & bedrooms. Take note the AC was on 24/7 (I liked it but not everyone does). Great location and not too noisy at night/not very close to the adan. Nice to have a cute lounge. Water dispenser & free coffee in the morning - thank you!

Nothing - all good. Take note the pool is part of the restaurant downstairs so you will be watched by all the guests if you swim.

Love the decor, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The attached restaurants are good, and very convenient. The hostel makes an extra effort to foster community and suggests group events, which is really sweet. Bed is pretty comfortable, there is a light and a power outlet in the cubicle.

Could use more soap throughout, there is only one soap dispenser by one of the sinks. Some shelves in the bathroom/showers would make things more comfortable. The showers are also not hot but lukewarm, which should be fine for the day and most of the year.

Loved the staff - Gaya the manager accommodated our request for an extra mattress in our private bathroom room. Sha, Clarence and Helmi were so friendly and helpful. Luffy at the Chinatown Mingle was also wonderful. Loved our loft space - cosy and comfortable. Free meals were delicious and I loved the Friday BBQ. The food at Kleptocrat was tasty and it's a very popular place. Laundry and kitchen gave us more Independence. Location was great - easy to walk to Chinatown, Menara and Bukit Bintang. Train station close to Mingle

Nothing to say here - we loved our 2wk stay!

The location is very close to the trainstation. Chinatown and Restaurants are close by so you have it very comfortable. The Hostel is in a shabby chic style in a old building and very beautiful arranged with a lot of nice details. Maybe for some of you it could seen as worn but others like me feel the flair. The ground floor has a restaurant which is really good and a cafe where you also can take a breakfast for guest-price. The staff is very friendly and supportive. My room was clean and hat everything I needed. I took the own room with bath inside and hat a very cosy stay.

Walls are thin so you can hear other guest’s very well. It’s recommended to take some ear plugs with you - which you should always have in Asia.

Female Dorm: Comfortable, but still a hostel! The private lights in the bunk are a little too bright, so I think that should be changed. Bring your own lock for the locker! The Showers and Toilets: This is a hostel so they aren't always super clean and tidy because other guests leave their hair and tissues in there sometimes. But I think that's expected. No fault of the hostel. They're a little old and rusty but I think that's just the vibe of the whole hostel. Kind of worn and rustic. The Pool: You can go into the pool, I only went in once, once all the people visiting the cafe restaurant were gone. It's cute, there are little swings. Very peaceful at night. The Vibe: I looooved the whole vibe of the hostel. It's very lived in and rustic, reminds me of guesthouses I stayed in when I was young. Plants growing on gates and doors, brings up whimsical childhood memories.

Great location, helpful staff, great included breakfast. My private room with balcony was very good. The organised activities work well particularly for solo travellers

The loft ladder is not for those with mobility problems but as a ‘senior’ I didn’t have a problem - except that the rungs are uncomfortable with bare feet. It’s a shame that the swimming pool - tho it looks nice is not practical. But these are minor issues. It’s still a great place to stay
