Location is very strategic, 3 minutes' walk to Masjid Jamek LRT station. The staffs were very helpful and polite. Price is considered very reasonable in that area. Clean and new property.

Can be hard to find if you come at night. The signboard is very dim. We and our grab driver took a while to find it, just opposite a restaurant called Betel Leaf.

Amazing value for money in terms of a clean room in an unbeatable location. Just around the corner from Masjid Jamek station, surrounded by south Asian eateries and shops, 10-15 mins' walk from Chinatown, Central Market, etc. We requested a room with a window and still got a very quiet room in spite of being in such a busy location. A/C worked great. No weird smells in the room. Good pressure in shower. Very importantly, they provide a water dispenser on the top floor! Love this set up, more hotels should do this instead of providing small plastic water bottles in your room.

My stay here was lovely!! Contrary to some of the reviews on here, all of the staff are really nice and helpful. The rooms are really big, the bed is super comfy, there is AC, lots of amenities provided including water every day and a place to fill up your bottle with filtered water if you need. It is very well located, near to restaurants, shops and metro station very close by. Very reasonably priced.

My only complaint is there was construction work (not sure if it was in the hotel itself or nearby) but it woke me up in the morning as it was quite loud, more than once. Might not be the hotels fault, and also is probably a short lived issue. I would certainly return to this hotel, I have no other complaints.

From the staff to the room and including the location, the Ahyu Hotel is fantastic! It's located in a very normal-nice street 2 minutes walking from Masjid Jamek LRT station which is a rapid transit station in Kuala Lumpur, and it is only 2 stops to KL Sentral from/since you will take the Express to airport. The Hotel is very well maintained, is very modern and very charming. It exceed my expectations being a 2 stars hotel indeed. Staff is very professional and kind. Wifi was just perfect all the time (we stayed in 3 nights). The room was very clean, air conditioner worked perfectly, maybe too strong :D . The area is plenty of shops and restaurants with a very delicious food. It is located in city centre and if you like walking, it's perfect to discover the city, old town. It's only a 25minutes to Petrona's tower. We walked the distance from the hotel and was a very pleasant walk, as the city is very safe and clean and people very nice and kind. Bathroom, bed, were perfect and very clean. I would choose it again if I would come back to Kuala Lumpur.

Room was clean, close to the train station only 3mins walk, the staffs were nice, able to store the luggage before and after check in. Close to many attractions, overall good value.

I booked the room without windows, it smelled damp, as the toilet didn't have the fans, and all the switches were near the toilet and nothing next to the bed meaning I have to get up to turn the light off, also you can hear everywhere outside on the hallway even just someone who talked normal, you can hear what they say. It would be great if they can upgrade the PowerPoint to usb charging as well. The room was without a mini fridge which was a little let down.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ahyu Hotel. The staff is really kind and is ready to assist with any questions you may have. Di at reception is also very funny and friendly. The room is very clean and air conditioned. The water pressure in the shower is great. It's about an 8 minute walk from Chinatown, and is a 5 minute walk from the Masjid Jamek train station. The hotel has an elevator. I would definitely recommend others to stay here.

This could be customary in Asia, but the toilet paper is extremely thin. I went through about 7 rolls during my stay there, and I did not have bowel issues. The hotel should consider getting thicker toilet paper if it's available.

The hotel is in a good location. There are seevral cafes nearby, McDonalds and KFC, currency exchange and a metro station are just around the corner. Overall, it's a great option for the price.

I was arriving in the morning and in order to ensure an early check-in I have booked my room in with an extra day. I have also communicated the same to the hotel in order to avoid any issues. However, when I arrived I was informed that my reservation was checked as "no show" and they were checking if there were any rooms available. Luckily the room was available, otherwise my review would have been negative. Also, one day I saw a cocoroach in the bathroom, hence a little bit lower review for the cleanliness.

This is a small hotel in Little India in KL, so there are wonderful smells filling the air as you walk around. The area feels very safe to me, and although the hotel is on a fairly busy street, the street just narrow enough that vehicles cannot race through the area. It was exceptionally quiet in our room. We had a double room and it was really big enough. We had only backpacks, but there is room for luggage under the counter. The shower was nice and there was plenty of hot water--most importantly (for us), there was a glass wall between the shower room and the toilet. (I don't like hotels where there is nothing separating the shower from the toilet. Everything ends up getting wet including the toilet paper. And there is nothing grosser than trudging through a pool of water and wet towels when one needs to use the toilet in the middle of the night.) In other words, the shower room was perfect. The staff members were all very friendly and helpful. When asked where we should eat, they didn't hesitate to recommend a place and their suggestion was spot-on. Everything was clean and fresh. The price point was very reasonable. My wife said, "Let's stay here the next time we come to KL!"

I wish they had a small refrigerator either in the room or a bigger one in the lobby. That would be a great benefit for the customers.

It is located next to so many indian restaurants which was very convenient for us. Also the hotel has good ambience and its very welcoming. They didnt cost us too much, so I would recommend it as a good place valuable for the money spent. Also its in the walking distance to some of the famous shopping sites like Central Market, Petalling street etc.

The draining of water in shower is bit slow and it takes some time to totally dryout. So it does mess the washroom with water. Also I would prefer if they had a mirror light in the bathroom as the lights were bit dim if we do a facial or a shave. Other than that, it was all good.
