Clean, very spacious, quiet apartment- slightly worn or "rustic". I intended to stay 5 nights & ended up staying 5 weeks! Great place to really recharge the "batteries", if you have been traveling in SE Asia for a while. I spent 4 months traveling through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, & Northern Malaysia before resting in KL. Universal Times Square (9 apartments) is family owned by Mr Lee & his wife, Low Sow Ping and is in the Berjaya Times Square (along with ~1200 other apartments). The owners of these 9 apartments (Universal Times Square) are super friendly, very flexible, & super accommodating. I recommend the apartments with veneer (no odor) vs carpet. The apartment (veneer floor) I stayed in was on a higher floor in the West Tower of Berjaya Times Square. Berjaya Times Square (completed in 2003) is basically a massive hotel complex (2 towers east & west), apartment building, shopping mall, swimming pool, bowling alley, theme park, Starbucks & other coffee shops, & restaurants all combined under one "roof". There is a metro attached to Berjaya Times Square allowing easy access to all the sites, the Airport, KL Central, Batu Caves, "Colonial"  Square, etc. Pavilion mall, Lot 10 (great restaurants), & JL Alor (more great restaurants) are within 10 minutes walk. From the Pavilion mall- there is an underpass walkway all the way to Twin Towers. Lastly, there is a brand new mall (LaLaport mall) with a great grocery store & bakery. I went there almost daily. In summary, this is a GREAT location for sightseeing, living, resting, working, etc. There is a swimming pool & work out area on the 15th floor. Surprisingly, the apartment is extremely private and quiet (even though there is so much action <especially on weekends> in Berjaya Times Square) which was a huge plus for me. You are one elevator ride away from all the action.

Some light rehab work (at times) on nearby apts (10am-5pm) but nothing major. No drilling, no hammering, etc. Bed a bit hard but I like hard beds. Slept better here than anywhere else in SE Asia over 5 months (extremely quiet).

My suite was in the Berjaya Times Square Hotels and Resorts complex, East Tower, Floor 42. I found it very well maintained, decorated in a classy style, clean and very quiet during my stay. Nice view of the city from my window. There is no reception like in a regular hotel. Mr. Lee, the owner provides these services. He is reachable by whatsapp, is responsive and punctual. The payment is only by cash. Very good wi-fi, plus all other amenities as described on the website. Not too many channels on TV, maybe 16 in total (a couple in English), not a big deal for me though! There are many places to eat inside the connecting mall. The building is also close to the monorail station, which provides easy access to other parts of the city. Security in the building is also good. With the access card you are provided, you can access only the floor of your suite. All in all I had a very comfortable stay. Definitely, the place fully deserves the high rating on the website.

Host Mr. Lee were very nice, kind and helpful. The room is clean and cozy. Nice view too. Below the hotel is a mall, which is suitable for the family to leisure. Will come n stay again.

The location was superb. Host was very friendly. All the amenities were there.

Cleaning service was provided but they didn't dust the lamps which I found annoying. There was a lot of crockery but it could help if a frying pan and a small/medium sized cooking pot is made available.
