The pool was so lovely. The beach was really nice and very close. The fried kueyteow for room dining was lovely too. Love the bathroom. Facial soap is something nice.

The room is quite basic for that rate. Breakfast not included. Late check-in (4 pm). No kiblat direction.

I love Hyatt Regency because of its beachfront location. The surrounding scenery is absolutely beautiful, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the view.

I was disappointed with the staff service. They provided incorrect information, saying they didn’t notice that I had already paid for breakfast even though I had booked with it. On top of that, I was informed that I could have a late check-out, but they still blocked my key card, which was really inconvenient. Also, the food was quite disappointing—I’d rate it 4/10. The room was expensive, and I paid for a sea view, but the floor had no carpet, which made it really cold. The room itself was also quite small and felt very basic for the price. For a 5-star hotel, the parking situation was really bad. There weren’t enough parking spots, and I had to park outside the hotel. It didn’t feel like a proper 5-star experience at all.

Beach Resort - we found the landscaping beautiful, beach is clean, 2 pools one with bar is just chill, staff is friendly and room is spacious. The air con is nicely cold we can really sleep well in the comfortable bed. Guests in the hotel are half family and half business when we were there. Check in process is good and we got a free validated ticket for car park. We didn’t have a free breakfast for our daughter that morning as she slept till end of buffet but hotel staff is flexible enough to let her get a simple dish and we can paid it as ala-carte. Just a short walk from hotel , is a square with small shops, Starbucks and McD. The evening walk at the boulevard is nice too.

The staff made me feel welcome and appreciated. The check-in process was smooth, and I was quickly shown to my room, which was clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious and set the perfect tone for my day. The location was also ideal, with easy access to the beach. I particularly enjoyed the time with my family at the swimming pool; it was a sloping bottom pool. Overall, my experience at Hyatt Regency Kuantan Resort was excellent. If you're looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, this is definitely the place to be!

Too bad I couldn't visit the Italian Bistro and Chukka as they were closed on Monday.

The resort was excellent in many aspects. Firstly, it was located, outside yet not far from the city centre, at Telok Chempedak which was a very happening beach in Kuantan. It was convenient to drive to nearby eating places and sightseeing spots. Secondly, the staff were nice and helpful. The resort facilities were good. We liked that there were two swimming pools. The entire resort was barrier-free. Third, thumbs up for the room cleaning team. The room including the bathroom / toilet is clean and neat every day after we came back from outings.

Some improvements: 1. Dishes and cutleries left at the lift lobby corner after three days. The leftover food might attract cockroaches and rats. 2. Just a suggestion to improve the breakfast table setting - put up a note of "This table is occupied" when guests were seated. 3. A game room with facilities such as pool table and table tennis.

The location was perfect. Great view. Easy commute from Kuala Lumpur. The staff were great. Food was good. Facilities were great. Nice decor. Clean. Tidy. Good value for money. Right on the sea. You could hear the waves in the room. Comfy bed.

Room was hard to find on check in. A map would have helped. Didn’t like the Club Lounge. It was down at the bottom of the building and had no view. No atmosphere. Little staff to help. Should be at the top with a view. Not what the extra. And it was hard to find. No proper directions. Disappointing. The corridor floors were slippery. I was scared I would fall most of the time. I had to creep along carefully.

From the moment I arrived to the day I checked out, everything was exceptional. The staff were absolutely outstanding — warm, welcoming, and always willing to help even though my mum had some health issues which in need for a late check out. Every interaction felt genuine, and they went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Special thanks to Emma, CS Manager and Najmi at the Reception counter for their attentiveness and professionalism. They were very thoughtful and tried to accommodate my request until we ready to check out. The hotel has a beautiful, relaxing ambiance. Whether it was the calming music in the lobby, the stylish decor , everything contributed to a truly tranquil experience. It felt like a luxurious escape from everyday life. I had my room on the ground floor facing the sea as per requested. The cleanliness was impeccable. My room was spotless, with fresh linens and a perfectly maintained bathroom. The common areas were equally pristine, and I could tell that hygiene and cleanliness were a top priority for the hotel. The amenities provided were thoughtful and high-quality. From the food selections for breakfast to the pool, everything was top-notch. This hotel made my vacation feel extra special. Every detail was considered, and the warmth of the staff truly elevated the experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone looking for a flawless stay. The capacity of the cafe for breakfast during peak time. But the assistance from the staff looking for the table for us really ease the process and really appreciated.

Wonderful location and nice building. The rooms were a little small and the toilet a bit tight for family but no issues there. Breakfast food was good, but in 3 nights (the hotel had lots of customers, fully booked for school holidays) not much variation from morning to morning. Good staff except the guards were on their phones a lot and the guard who was directing cars was quite rude and unhelpful. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were lovely.

Front desk staff was very helpful. Special mention for Encik Muhammad. Booking.com had advertised the family room as having "1 extra large double bed, 1 double bed and 1 single bed". It was actually 1 double bed, 1 day bed and 1 sofa bed. There were no sheets, no blankets and no pillows provided. We were shocked when we checked-in. Mr Muhammad listed to patiently to our situation and was very assuring that he will help settle our situation.

I wish that they could give bedsheet and blanket for the day bed and also the sofa bed without being asked. The room next door, for whatever reason - had let their handphone ringing / alarm ringing from around 4am until almost 7am, until I rang the front desk.

I Stayed at executive suite with access club lounge for 3 days and 2 nights with my family and it was an exceptional experience. The first thing that struck me was how spacious and clean the hotel was. The rooms were immaculate and provided ample space for my family to relax and unwind. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the array of family-friendly facilities available. From a well-maintained pool to a play area for kids, this hotel catered to the needs of guests of all ages. It was a perfect choice for a family getaway. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The beach is just beside the hotel and is easily accessible from our hotel. There’s also a pretty lively night entertainment scene at the beach. Overall, our stay at this hotel was a memorable one, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and family-friendly hotel with a staff that truly cares about their guests' experience. We can't wait to come back!
