the room was so comfy but not as what i expected cause i want the room at the upper level, our view this time not as expected, the room services good and the airconditioning was as expected, the bath room was splendid.

The hotel is good. Its location is in the city center, so everything is close by. The view is beautiful — you can enjoy the sea view while in the bathtub. Cleanliness is excellent. The fridge is empty, there’s no complimentary items inside. However, the room includes water, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, toothbrush and toothpaste, a bathrobe, and a traditional bag you can use for outings. Housekeeping cleans the room daily. The breakfast is Asian-style, not really suitable for Arabs. The best option is the egg omelet.

However, there was an issue during check-out — they claimed I hadn’t paid, even though I had already paid for three rooms by card through them upon arrival. I waited 20 minutes, and eventually they confirmed it was paid. Be cautious of this kind of trickery.

The staff were lovely. Breakfast was excellent, in terms of both selection and quality. Pool, jacuzzi were great, with a wonderful view. Room design, with a dividing wall between the bed and bathroom, worked very well. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. Parking was easy. The location was perfect, close to the waterfront and with bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.

The bar was horrible, very dark and with blaring music at 6 pm, most unwelcoming. Coffee (local, not the machine variety) at breakfast was not great, and often luke warm. My main complaint however, is regarding the behaviour of guests' children. At breakfast they ran riot, climbing on the low shelves where the plates were stored, running about looking at their devices and knocking into people carrying food and hot drinks, and one child even took the cover off the pastries and put it on his head. Really hygienic!! I was also slightly annoyed that there were what appeared to be children's group swimming lessons: this is not fair on guests wishing to use the pool.

I especially liked that the room was wheelchair friendly. The toilet especially, had shower separate from the bathtub and the floor did not have any "barriers". Very convenient for my mum who can walk, but slowly and cannot climb up high steps. Also, relieved that there was interconnecting rooms available, so we were able to attend to my mum conveniently even though we have 2 rooms.

When i was booking the sea view room, website mentioned interconnecting rooms were available, but did not mention upfront that only city view rooms had interconnecting option. And that only 1 king bedded rm and 2 single bedded room type was available for interconnecting rooms. It would be best to have these details made known up front for the customer to decide which room to book. Because i booked for 2 sea view and king bedded rooms. And the price for sea view and king bed rm is more than city view, 2 single bedded room. I did not get any form of compensation for that.

Overall, a great stay. Although it’s not located in the city center, the area is very convenient and peaceful. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. I bought a macaron from the lobby, and the guy who served me was genuinely kind. You can really feel when someone puts heart into their work. The front desk lady at check-in was also warm and humble, which made a lovely first impression. The room was spacious and well-equipped, complete with a dumbbell, yoga mat, and other thoughtful touches. However, the complimentary rack felt a little too old. Maybe it’s time to upgrade that to a proper cupboard. The view from the room was enjoyable. No sunset, but still a pleasant scene.

That said, the check-out experience could have been better. The front desk staff at that time seemed a bit cold. In hospitality, a little smile or kindness really goes a long way, no matter the mood.

Hotel location is very good.The view is fantastic. The breakast is good and room good. Most of all the staff is very helpul. Kenny had been exceptionally helpful and M/s Chew was also very helful and friendly in guiding and assisting us on information of Miri and the type of food available. Overall our experience is very positive of the hotel staff and we would not hessitate to put up in PULLMAN Miri. Lastly Miri is very clean and air is good .

We could have more cupboards and table top to put our things especially when we would like to stay longer.

We booked 2 rooms (King bed and twin bed). Spacious room, comfy bed with fresh linen, helpful staff, especially the valet parking attendant, was so helpful and provided good services dated 19-20 July 25. Kids enjoyed the gym and the pool. The breakfast spread at Pullman was really impressive with so many choices! From fresh pastries, breads, and tropical fruits to hot dishes like eggs, sausages, noodles, and more. They even had a live cooking station and good coffee. Something for everyone!

I would like to suggest that the hotel consider placing a reminder or notice in the rooms or corridors to advise guests to keep noise levels down after 10 PM. There were disturbances past 11 PM during my stay, which disrupted my sleep. A quiet environment at night is important for the comfort of all guests. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Very nice room in a good and central location close to restaurants and shopping. The pool and pool area is nice could perhaps have some more sunchairs during peak hours. The gym very well equipped. Best of all the staff, all friendly and professional.

Children to often using the lobby as a playground screaming load and running around with dirty shoes on the sofas. Obviously the parents have no problem with that however a surprise a well branded 5 star hotel accepting this behaviour.

It was raining pretty bad and Miri was flooded on the day we arrive, so really appreciate it that we got to checked in early. Love the spacious room. It was clean, air-cond works fine. Comfortable bed and pillows. The room service meal was quite a nice portion as well and tasty. Also love the double choc cake i think it was called.

Paid for extra bed, took them half day to deliver it after reminding several times. Iron was missing when we arrived, got it when we finally were given the extra bed. Housekeeping probably need more training. On one of the days they took our used towels but didn't replace them with new ones. Other than that, the hotel is good.
