Location - accessible to road and shops like bintang megamall, imperial, ssf, amway etc Room was massive. suitable for our family of 4. breakfast was alright, menu is the same when we were there for 2 days. Check in and check out was convenient and quick. available parking during our stay.

There was one staff at breakfast when I asked to clean the chairs (because it was dirty of course I wont seat on a dirty chair), she got grumpy. I recommend for Mega Hotel to give her long break so she can recuperate, maybe she is experiencing some kind of burnout from her daily work task. The bell boy was also another thing, we were struggling to carry our heavy bag and luggage, with two kids along, they just watched us instead of helping us. There was no light directly below the luggage placement in the room. So it was dark for us to look inside our luggage. Our entrance light was blipped when we were staying there. TV channels were not really entertaining.

I like the room separated from the bedroom and mini living room. As we are a family of 5. Three small children makes it fun to run around and play some toys with their own space. Love that there are two tv's (in the bedroom and living rom). The area is close by the mamak shop and it was really convenience for our family together breakfast in the living room area.

Our room card needed to be reset few times. It was frustrated that we have to go back down to the reception and reset back our card. Also was expecting a bathtub in the toilet. But its ok. The kids go to swimming pool instead many times

Our stay at Mega Hotel, Miri was truly enjoyable. The hotel staff were warm and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. One standout feature was the provision of a prayer mat, which made it incredibly convenient for me to perform solah comfortably. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it easy to explore the city and access nearby attractions. The on-site dining options offered a variety of delicious meals, catering to different tastes.

While our stay was largely pleasant, there were a few areas that could be improved. The Wi-Fi connection in our room was sometimes inconsistent, making it a bit challenging to stay connected. Also, the noise from the nearby busy streets could be heard at night, which slightly affected our sleep.

This hotel is the true definition of old but gold, located in the heart of the city. Most nearby attractions are within <5 mins walking & only a drive away. Besides, given my guests list, the room that I've chosen was perfect and staffs also assisted whether we would like to choose between types of beds and either smoking or non-smoking rooms. Basement carpark also got sufficient space. Check-in/check-out process was smooth & for me, our breakfast experience also very good. Staffs were very friendly too & no wonder for years people always recommended this hotel

Only for the toilet part because typical southeast asians like us always prefer a toilet equipped with water hose rather than only bidet type like the one in the hotel room hehe😬

love ths hotel in general. the service, cleanliness, food are still consistent hence i always come back here. the location is strategic too, u can just walk 5mins across the street, and u will have 24 hour restaurant (Selera Rasa Segar) n others. Beds are comfortable in deluxe family room, lovely deal and meets my expectations. a solid 9.3/10 for me

I remember staying at this hotel back in the 90's-early 2000's as a child. I'm really glad that to this day, they have maintained the place, especially recently, it's been really clean despite the old fashioned layout. The staff were nice and the location is near malls and places to eat.

The basement parking (if you were to come with a car) could use some work as some areas are shut off and confusing. The door to my room does not close properly and you need to do a bouble take to make sure that it is shut, if not, it will remain ajar.

The location and price is good, grab is easy to get. The room is spacious, and comfy. My family just had a short stay in Miri as we only want to see the famous 'Gua Niah', it's a must place to go if you decide to go to Miri. Unfortunately, mostly the locals didn't go there, so it's hard to get information about it. Restaurants are nearby, some are morning food stalls and restaurants, and at night, there are lots of hawkers restaurants nearby.

Unfortunately, the thing I didn't like is the smell of the carpet, not enough tables, no place to put our things.

Great for family with spacious room. The location is also great as it is not very busy around the hotel with easy parking facilities and centrally located with easy access to shopping malls and various eateries.

Not enough amenities for the family. Even though I booked for four people, the amenities were only supplied for two. Also our room was not cleaned on one of the days.

First impression, is the Friendly and accomodating receptionist and I am pleasantly surprised with my birthday cake and my birthday card from this hotel! The staff have a good attitude attending to our needs. Comfortable bed! We had a restful sleep at night. The breakfast buffet have delicious varieties of food. 10/10 will come back!

They need to fix our room door, as the door tends to slam loudly at room 1315. The pool need to be cleaned properly, the crust at the pool not a good sight.
