My go to hotel in Damansara everytime. Never disappoint me and my family.

As we had the family suite, and a family of 6 with 4 kids, we were surprised there is a fee for 2 additional towels.

We had such a restful stay during our stay here. The bed was one of the best I’ve experienced—firm yet incredibly comfortable. I usually struggle to sleep well on the first night in a hotel, but this time I slept soundly and woke up refreshed on day two. The room was clean and spacious, which made the stay even more comfortable. While some of the facilities show signs of age, everything was well-kept, and the bathtub was a big hit with the kids. What stood out most was the warm hospitality—the staff were all very polite and welcoming.

the breakfast spread could use a bit more variety, and there weren’t any hooks in the bathroom, which made it a bit inconvenient.

I stayed off the city, and that day, I had some errands to do in KL. Upon checking in, I walked over to IKEA Damansara for some shopping. Hence, it was very convenient and comfortable arrangements for my family that day. Dropped off my wife at the lobby, including baggage, and just besides the lobby, was the ramp going down to basement parking. Got a parking space easily (maybe it was during weekdays). It seemed like a private parking for the hotel but you can access the shopping mall from basement as well, I think the parking was separated by kerbs from the shopping mall parkings, as the exit from the hotel parking lots was also thru the same ramp I went down earlier. It seemed a bit limited, but I saw in the lift to the hotel's lobby that it showed B2 & B3 as well, probably another 2 levels of basement. So, there is no need to worry about parking, just ask the security for assistance. I stayed at Level 3 and faced opposite IKEA, so I could see a bit of skyline of Damansara with condominium and hills. Maybe at a higher level, the view is better. The room was nice for a couple and everything in order. The small single sofa was stainless but a bit straight up. The lightings were wonderful, brightening up the room and at the rightly place. From my experience, some hotels do need a lighting consultant. Air-conditioning was also controllable with dial temperature control. So you need to know how the 'clicking-thing' functioned. Surprisingly, the room was equipped with Sharp Aquos smart TV. It has Google TV with Netflix, YouTube etc and even normal channels such as TV1, TV2 etc. But to have an HD viewing, watch YouTube. Breakfast was also quite good & tasty. At RM30++ per person, the spread was very good. From the lobby, it has a door to access the shopping mall (but it will be closed at 10 pm).

There's only 2 lifts serving all the floors, including those 3 levels of parking basement. So my worry during peak time, maybe the waiting time will be longer. During my stay, it's not a problem. At night, I turned up the air-conditioning temperature, so it was a bit warmer, but my arm was bitten either by mosquitoes or bed bugs. Probably, the management could look into handling this pest issue.

The location is very convenient with plenty of food choices and shopping is wonderful. It’s very closed to some attractions like Kidszania and IUtama. The staff is definitely wonderful with the real Malaysian hospitality. Kudos to that!

The property is rather old compared to other hotels around that area however I do see the efforts in maintaining it with fresh coats of paint for the rooms. However paints stains were seen at the carpets around the “hidden” areas which made it looked dirty overall. Breakfast selection is not the best with the same offerings daily. Not much variety in the breakfast selections.

The Royale Chulan The Curve Hotel has an excellent location at the Curve Shopping centre with easy access to the MRT train station for getting into KLCC. Also the Curve Restaurant Street is right out the back door of the hotel so a large range of excellent places to eat at at very reasonable prices. The hotel room was kept very clean and tidy and although it could have been bigger in size it was very good value for the price charged. Would happily stay there again. We did not include a hotel breakfast as there are so many casual eateries available. The hotel staff were all very helpful as well.

Everything was ok except TV quality should be improved, not enough international channels

Lobby smell good all the time. Mall and eatery is literally next to the hotel. Good choices of food for breakfast. Water pressure is good no matter the time. Air conditioning is superb.

One of the two lifts broke down causing bottle neck. Lift size is small making it worse. Waited too long and decided to go for another walk at the mall. Despite the good choices of food, for 3 days the menu is the same, repetitive and boring. Surrounding shop closes at 930pm and hotel itself does not have a cafe or chill coffee spot to wind down and relax.

The location, the staff, cleanliness, and value for money are very good and met the expectations.

The breakfast could have had more options like croissants (which were not served daily), variety of cheese and eggs, not just omelets, pancakes and honey/maple. I understand that most of these items are more like western food and might not be common in Malaysia, however, a good hotel like Royal Chulan I believe should include international food since many tourists stay there.

The location is strategic, easy access to the curve, parking was good. I had a family room and it was spacious. We got breakfast served and while it wasn’t the greatest the variety was good. Staff were also great, friendly and attentive.

I didn’t like the layout of the bathroom in the family room. Feels weird and not that friendly, especially if you’re staying with friends. Also we wish the covered walkway to curve extends till the covered area of the curve. It’s impossible to enter the hotel from the mall without getting a little bit wet when it rains

Had a great stay at Royale Chulan The Curve! The room was spacious, the bed super comfy, and the bathroom had all the nice toiletries you'd expect. The staff were all really nice—from check-in to housekeeping and the restaurant crew. Shout out to the friendly doorman who gave us some great tips on what's around. Their breakfast was basic, but good, with options for both Western and Asian cuisine, which was nice. We only stayed one night to be close to Kidzania, but honestly, I wish we could've stayed longer. Being connected to the mall next door made shopping and dining a breeze. Overall, it was a relaxed and convenient stay, perfect for what we needed.

Maybe the hallways can do a bit of updating make it look newer.

I like the old skool design interior, the shower is very good pressure and relaxing..all good Except the rook key card power holder need to replace as the room key card holder is loose, i have to insert paper to make it tight for powered up the room..

The tv channels all good, I quite enjoying my stay while watching movies but just be nice if the TV is brand new..current now is quite old tv screen, all the colors and resolution is quite dulled..just another perk of staying there if the tv is brand new..
