Everything! Slightly further away from male which was good for us away from the airport. . Perfect for our honeymoon. Prices of activities and food very high but similar to the competition. We loved our beach bungalow with private pool in lieu of upgrade to sea bungalows. We loved the bang and olfsen sound system to play our music, our butler didi, the friendly staff, the beach the sea life sharks and turtles. The food was all amazing too. Gym on prominade. The underwater spa. Thank you.

Celsius restaurant lovely, but in evening à little dark to see our food clearly. Minor maintenance snags. Some decor a little dated imo. All these are very minor though!

Exceptional resort, wonderful reef and snorkeling, delicious food and stunning views. The staff was friendly and attentive, especially our butler Nihan. We also met wonderful servers in both restaurants. I wish I could remember their names to give them a proper shout out. The resort was not too crowded because it is smaller than some of the other major chains, which gave it a very peaceful and romantic vibe. We will definitely come back!

Because the resort is smaller, there was not much nightlife. My husband and I like to dance to a good band or DJ, but they only had entertainment twice a week. I think if you want a big social scene, one of the larger resorts would be more your style. But for three nights at this amazing resort, we didn’t miss this aspect at all.

Excellent choice of breakfast and evening meals in the Celcius Restaurant. Beautiful, peaceful resort, a slice of paradise. Fabulous spa and spa treatments. Despite not diving/snorkelling we saw lots of fish, sharks and stingrays. We loved that it was so warm all through our stay. ( high twenties) Helpful and knowledge staff. Bonus having tea/coffee making facilities in the apartment.

Neither the Raw or Salt restaurant's had food that appealed to us. Weather is changeable, we had rain for several hours on two afternoons and it can be quite breezy at times. I expected it to be more consistent in January. However, this didn't spoil our trip in any way.

This place is truly magical. From the moment you arrive you are swept off your feet with the luxury and attention to detail of the property and the staff. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. EVERYTHING is absolute perfection. The room was stunning. The food was absolutely sensational. The snorkelling was incredible. All of the staff around the island were friendly and professional. I could go on and on! Our butler Nellie was truly fabulous and made our stay extra special. This place is true paradise - we are counting the days until we can return.

The service stuff can do with some training. EG my bathtub was not washed for two days after i used it. At the resurant the menu is not vast. They need to add more meat options.

Breakfast was just right. Room looked freshly done . Dinner despite my half board was amazingly good with ala carte menu. The best of all was my Butler Saif who organised everything we needed from Check in at the room to our snorkelling, to the special dish Reef fish ceviche we wanted to reorder.

Have nothing to complain.

in restaurants, long wait between orders and being served the reef has been damaged and there should be clear instructions for guests to not damage it further

the Island is quite close to the airport, clean, many many activities to try. the staff were super friendly, professional and at your demand. our butler Younus was the best, he made sure our stay was smooth and up to the par. he met our every need and proactively supported us with activities and the spa. the team at Celsius ( Sujeewa, kessi, suaid, Ramiz) were absolutely gracious and professional and very friendly!

would have been nice to have had one more restaurant as another options

Stunning island that fully lives up to its "dream island" billing. Close enough to Male airport to make the transit a breeze, but far enough to avoid the endless seaplanes, boat traffic, and light / noise pollution from the capital, which is only just about visible on the horizon. Huge, well appointed and clean rooms (we stayed at the lagoon bungalow), thoughtful and personalized service (special thanks to our butler Yoonus), high amount of privacy despite the resort being relatively full, great food (the private / destination dining experiences are generally worth the premium), great house reef / local wildlife and unique wow factors (underwater spa, underground wine cellar, saltwater flotation pool, infinity pool, private dining and sunbathing spots dotted throughout) all add up to an unforgettable honeymoon experience.

Not much. Prices, especially private dining and excursions, are fairly steep so clarifying ahead of booking can help avoid sticker shock. "Standard" fare at the restaurants was slightly hit or miss at times, and portions are often absolutely massive by any standards. Limited room service menu. Few child-friendly facilities and little night time entertainment, but largely irrelevant as this is not the resort's key target audience in any case...

Second visit to Huvafen Fushi and it managed to still be special. Not quite as good as the first time (under new management) but the facililites excellent. Beach bungalows better than over water rooms. Gym, spa and yoga over the water which is spectacular!

Food not as good as last time. Perhaps the pandemic and new management have not quite found their mojo yet. Need to improve the food offering. Also, it used to be adults only but now children allowed, which is shame.
